Apparently, being a patient at Rush means absolutely nothing and doesn't help to get in any sooner. There was over a month wait to get in for therapy. I ended up having to go to the location in LaGrange. Which actually turned out to be a nice thing because the people there are absolutely wonderful. Midway location might want to get a front desk receptionist who doesn't sound like she has a rotten attitude and doesn't want to be at that job. That's really why I didn't want to come there as well. Who wants to be greeted by a person who sounds like she doesn't want to be there. So glad I didn't go to this place.

You get maybe a half hour of your appointment with your therapist. Then the therapist has his 9:30 appointment shows up. You get put on the back burner while he takes on the new one. So you'll be doing an exercise and you might be doing it wrong and no one says anything or you finish the required sets and have to get his attention. It's bothersome that there are other assistants there but they don't seem to know what exercise you're doing or the next exercise you should do so they can't help unless the main therapist tells them. And then the 10am appointment shows up. So now the therapist has 3 people he's working on. It's like the therapist is juggling what he was assigned and does the best he can but it's too much. So you pay full price but get 1/3 of the attention. It's nice they have free parking. I just wish they wouldn't load up the staff so you get the attention you pay for.
