They seem very disorganized in the business end of things. When I called to set up my appointments, they took my insurance info. They even called me back a few days later to verify it again. So I started therapy. Given that I had already racked up enough out of pocket expenses from my knee surgery, therapy was supposed to cost me nothing out of pocket. At the end of the second session I was suddenly told that Moffett was not in my insurance company's network and that I would have to pay $50 every session. As I have to have ten sessions now and ten after my surgery on my other knee, it would have cost me another $1000 to continue with them. I wasted my time and money and now had to scramble to set up a visit with another therapist and start all over again! They could have just told me they were out of network in the first place! I even called and spoke to the owner today about this. She promised to call me back but instead had one of her people call me back. All they could do was "apologize" for the inconvenience and say that usually they tell people they are out of network or whatever. In fact she tried to tell me that it didn't matter because when they checked with my insurance that I had not met my maximums and I'd have to pay anyhow. I explained that not all charges are posted yet and that I had hit my out of pocket maximums. She was like, "Oh." Really? Seriously? Finally when I stopped by their office tonight to pick up my scrip from them and cancel my appointments, the owner saw me and I am sure she knew it was me. But did she come and apologize? Nope. Sent one of her other people out. So needless to say, I won't ever be going here again.
