I had surgery in December of 2021 and have dealt with many problems since. From painful hip joints and sprained ankles to severe pain and falls - one fall landed me in the ER where I was diagnosed with a concussion - It's been a long journey, to say the least. I was seen by some very awesome doctors, nurse practitioners and staff at Duly Health and Care and am deeply grateful for their care. Where do I begin? My first visit was with Rehana Renaud. When I first saw her, I could not walk on my own and used a wheel chair. She ordered a walker for me, a series or MRIs and referred me to a hip specialist. Rehana is the epitome of a compassionate and knowledgable professional. She listened, took notes, and immediately embarked on a journey to heal me. From there I saw a hip specialist who determined that the problem was in my spinal cord. It was from there that I saw Dr. Michael Conti Mica. He reviewed my MRIs and ordered more plus a CT scan of my noggin and sent me to Dr. Fetger for a hip injection. Ahhh, I finally have relief from some of the hip pain! Both doctors think there is a possibility that my thoracic spine is compressed, which is causing the problems. I trust they will get to the bottom of it in the next two weeks. For now, I can walk howbeit slowly, but I can walk without my walker! I am literally crying as I type this review. I have hope again. For so long, I've suffered, but now, I look forward to the day when I'm back to normal again. I believe it's just a matter of time. I cannot thank the professionals at Duly Health and Care enough!

After his initial assessment, the team agreed he needed 30+ hours of weekly ABA therapy to support his development. Unfortunately, Rush consistently failed to deliver. Despite the agreed-upon plan, our son never received more than 17 hours per week, even during summer sessions it was decreased even further down to just 13 hours. Early intervention is critical for autistic children to build essential skills in communication, cognition, and social development, as emphasized by every autism support group we've joined. Rush's inability to provide the recommended therapy hours has hindered our son's progress. Worse, Rush made recommendations that seemed contrary to his best interests, such as reducing his weekly hours after he missed a few days over a couple of weeks or allowing their therapist make medical diagnosis when they have no training to diagnose medical conditions. This lack of commitment and follow-through has been deeply disappointing. We expected a center dedicated to supporting autistic children to prioritize their needs, but Rush fall far short of that standard.

After performing a thorough eye exam the doctor stated that my eye looked perfect, he also did a quick review of my neck and upper back and determined that the source of my eye pain may be referred pain from that area. He referred me to Absolute Rehab, to say the least I was skeptical but decided to give it a try. During my 1st visit I was very much impressed by how quickly Constance and Retu identified the misalignment of my left shoulder blade and the lack of surrounding muscle tissue. Retu immediately recommended a 6 week therapy and exercise program that Constance would guide me through in the coming weeks. Here I am 6 weeks later and my eye pain is minimal at its worst, my posture is better than it's been for 20 years and I rarely feel the tightness and pain that has plagued me for the past 30 years. I plan to continue the stretching and exercises I learned here for as long as I can, because I feel great as a result. The physical therapy worked great for me, but what made me look forward to each and every appointment was the feeling that I was spending time with close friends, sharing life's experiences, common interests, and exchanging knowledge.
