So I called and wanted to switch him to another day we were not previously scheduled. The owner would NOT accommodate him! She said: " no cancellation, no switch. If you want a different date, you need to pay $20 dollars for switch." She was also very, very rude. So I ended up losing $25. ( if you don't sign up for the whole team training which is $1000, you pay $25 per time. And you have to give the dates ahead of the time and pay the full amount at the beginning. If your child is sick, you lose $25 every time.) What is unfair is, these rules are not written on any forms nor on their website. Plus, there are times the Center had to cancel the class due to them hosting games. So the "no change" rule only applies to customers, not themselves! Another example is that I signed up my son for winter camp and paid money. Then they cancelled the camp because they could not get anybody else. These incidents show how inflexible and inconsiderate the owners of Machi Badminton Training Centrer are. They reflect really badly about this new center. So I suggest people please be very careful when joining this centre. Make sure you know the cancellation/refund policy before joining in.

Hi; I wrote this letter o them in 2014 and never got a…read moreresponse. My step son is now 13 and he brought it up today as one of the worst experiences in his life. He has learned that he needs to not shine because he will be put down. It has affected him deeply and I hate this organization for it. Shame on you. LETTER dated Feb.22, 2014 My 6 year old step-son C. attends a class on Wednesday nights. He's the only boy. When he first saw that his class was all girls he almost quit. This would have been a shame because this child loves gymnastics. For two years now he's been trying to teach himself all kinds of moves. Looking at Youtube videos of other gymnasts performing, doing little shows for the family and even talking about the Olympics! So, we convinced him that it didn't matter that he was the only boy in this class and that he certainly was just as important as anyone else there. He went on in and continued to be brave every week even though he was lonely. Now... after our work to convince him that it doesn't matter that he's the only boy he experienced some discrimination last week. I understand that your instructors are young and most likely don't have kids of their own so they are probably not aware how much to heart young people take every word you give them. This is why I'm writing. I think you need to make them more sensitive in the way they speak to their young charges. Not only is he the only boy in his class but on Wednesday night he was told by one of the instructors that: "Girls always go first." when taking turns. So everything we told him now has been undone. He's heard now that he isn't like everyone else in class and that he is a second class citizen there. Boys don't count. I'd like to have a conversation with you about how you could accomodate boys better to encourage them to stay instead of getting discouraged and giving up because of isolation. We've talked to other parents of boy students that have already quit and they've said that if there was at least one other boy there it would have made a difference. Is there not any way that you could pay special attention to registration of boys and try to arrange them to be in the same class even if it means coordinating with the parents involved? I know he's only one child out of many and it might not make a difference to your school if you lose him but it will make a huge difference to his young life now if he has to give up on his passion because he feels unwelcome and uncomfortable. I would have called to speak on the phone but I realize how busy you are there and we would have been rushed and I do want you to hear my entire message and not think that I'm just mad and complaining like an irate and irritating parent. Thank you for reading this and I look forward to C. enjoying the rest of his classes. ...and then I never heard back from them.
