This review is for guys…read more.. I buy most of my clothes at the Nordstom Rack where I ilve in Roseville. It's a decent store. A smaller footprint. I'm an old school Italian-American New York City born and raised clothes horse. Always well dressed and groomed. There are no board shorts in my walk-in closet. So with those bona fides I know good clothes from bad. My declaration about this Nordstrom Rack is that it has the most, varied and well priced men's clothes of all the stores in northern California. I've been to the "Racks" in San Francisco, Folsom, Vacaville, Corte Madera, Novato, and my old home town of Santa Rosa Sonoma county. This Howe Ave. store almost shocked me with the bountiful inventory. It took me 45 minutes to speed browse all of the displays. Granted there is a lot of name brand crap that is made in China. But diamonds in the rough can be found. I saw a small number of clothes made in the USA, Italy, France, Canada - You know the good stuff. The one and only disappointment is the shoe department. It's 80% athletic sneakers, running, trail, basketball, etc models. For a moment I though that I was in a Nike outlet. The kind'a shoes I wear, real leather, casual to dressy are in short supply. So I'm almost tempted to rate this store only 4 Yelp stars. But I'll get over myself here. So guys, if you are trying to up your career, work at a higher capacity and pay grade level, improve your clothes style game. When you dress well people will respect you more, listen to what you say, and offer you opportunities that a sloppily dressed "bro" ain't gonna' get. Peace out.

The store is filled with GREAT finds-both trendy and timeless. I found comfy cardigans and simple t-shirts that fit perfectly. Cute fleece, colorful pants and dresses. There is a large selection of items and it seems that they rotate and bring in inventory regularly. One of my friends shops there and always looks so fashionable....now I know why! The staff are great, super friendly and helpful. Excellent customer service. Parking is street only, but it seems you can find a spot easily. I can't wait to go back.

The one on one shopping experience is amazing and you will leave with an outfit that not only fits well but also makes you feel great. Felicia has outfits for all shapes and sizes not just 0 to 14. She only purchases a few of each item so you will not see your outfit walking down the street or at your event. There are so MANY clothes to choose from. When you make your appointment Felicia will ask about your preferences in colors and styles, your current dress size, and the type of event you are going to wear the outfit to. This allows her the time to put together a grouping that she believes will best suit you. I was early for my appointment and was able to spend two hours with Ms. Felicia. I found her to be so interesting, kind, intuitive, and great at what she does. I left the shop feeling confident that the outfit I purchased is appropriate, and that I am going to look amazing at my son's wedding in October.

She was two weeks late in having it ready and she ghosted me. When I finally got ahold of her, she admitted that ghosting people is just something she does, she just doesn't know why. I explained to her how stressful it is was the customer, and she said she would not do it again. When I had to take my jumpsuit back to her to fix the torpedo breast area, it was right before covid, so she had it for over a year. When I tried to contact her to pick it up, it took about 20 tries before we got a date and time. When I was on my way to meet her (literally around the corner from her location), she texted me to say she couldn't make it. Since then, I have repeatedly called and texted her and she has ghosted me again. I told her she had 48 hours to get my property back to me or I'd post about it. She still hasn't given me my very expensive jumpsuit. Do not go to her, it's not worth the risk of her ghosting you and stealing your property. If she doesn't give me my jumpsuit, I will sue her. this place is TRULY was a hidden gem!…read more however, it was actually quite difficult to find the store since it is located on the second floor of an old sacramento style building; there is also very little street signage to mark the location of the boutique. though the entrance was dimly lit, the boutique itself is a quaint apartment-style setting store, carrying various cute but affordable clothes and accessories perfect for a LA-based urbanite such as myself. the boutique owner was wonderful -friendly and obliging without being overbearing- especially since we were the only patrons in the small boutique. she was especially receptive to our suggestions to light up the entrance so that people walking on the street could be attracted to the store. the boutique carries brands such as BB Dakota, Dolce Vita and other similar brands. though the selection of clothes is quite small, i was told that the boutique receives new shipments of items every week so there are bound to be new items available the next time i felt like stopping by. needless to say, i left the store a very happy camper, with more than several items in tow, if i may add, and am determined to stop by again next time i'm in town.

Almost immediately, another staff member sharply asked, "Can I help you?" in a tone that felt more like I was being scolded than helped. She then told me--again in a raised, hostile voice--that I needed to sign in. The entire interaction was abrupt and unsettling. I felt singled out and uncomfortable, like I had done something wrong just by being there. What made it more painful was what happened next. Two other customers walked in and were greeted warmly, calmly, and with genuine friendliness. The difference in treatment was stark. As a Black woman, that contrast didn't feel accidental--it felt like bias, and it honestly hurt. I want to be clear: the young woman who did my threading was kind and did a good job. But the way I was treated before that left me feeling unwelcome and disrespected. I live nearby and try to support local businesses, but I will not spend money in a place where I'm made to feel like I don't belong. No customer should walk into a business and leave feeling the way I did.
