They also have way more outdoors stuff like camping and fishing gear. Pretty decent prices and I noticed they carry a range of sizes from XS and up. I may find a piece of clothing that I really like at their other stores, but they may not carry that same thing in a larger/smaller size but here, you can find different sizes. One dog slimed my hand when his owner raced up beside me on the stairs. I was there on Friday morning this time, hoping to avoid the crazy weekend crowd of people with their dogs. While it was not quite as overtaken, it was still too much. I just hope no child is ever hurt in the calamity of dogs there. Dogs are amazing, but they're unpredictable. I am not alone in my frustration, many dog loving people have complained. Come on, Scheels... your store is crowded enough without dogs and their inability to stay in their own lane.

I usually pop in regularly to check the sales and deals. On a visit last year I found this collapsible duffel bag. It's a monster. It folds into itself and has been a regular addition to my must have travel items. Their line of national parks t shirts are great gift ideas for family that lives outside of the Us as well as those who don't have a national park near them. I also like their hats and windbreakers. The staff is super friendly and what I like the most is that they are knowledgeable about their products. They really want you to have what works best for you not necessarily the most expensive thing in the store. Pro Tip. Sign up for rewards. Whether someone agrees or disagrees with the message, it's not REI's job to tell customers how they should think or act. I came here for outdoor gear, not political messaging. Companies should focus on their strengths--serving customers and selling quality products--instead of jumping into virtue signaling and social posturing. This kind of messaging feels more alienating than inclusive, and it made me decide this will be my last visit. Sell gear, not ideology.
