No bathrooms! Such a nice park for kids. Nice fields and playground, but what are you supposed to do when your kid has to use the bathroom?

Hello, we played your course yesterday 3/23/25 and I have tell you it was an absolute disaster!…read moreWhen we first arrived there were no power carts available for us making our tee time late while we sat and waiting for one to come off the 18th green. While waiting we decided to hit range balls. Could we, NOPE. Range closes at noon on Sundays. JOKE. We finally got a cart and tee'd off. The play was painstakingly slow and we made it 7 holes before our cart died and we had to call and have another brought out. This took nearly 30 minutes to accomplish. We talked to the young kids running the place this day and I told them that they need to talk to their management and get this place in order. Their response, we don't have any management. Clearly obvious from what occurred! We played out the front side and left as the pace was so slow and there was no marshal to help push groups. The group in front of us were playing and hitting like 3 balls off every tee. Ever since you all upped your prices to a ridiculous amount this place has gone downhill. I now know why. We will NOT be coming back out here again and I am sharing this experience and encouraging others to place elsewhere all over social media. I hate to see a course close (city) or not get play but this place clearly needs attention and it is not getting it!

The park has plenty of open green space, mature trees, and shaded pathways that make it a pretty easy walk even on warmer summer days like today. It has a really chill vibe and there is usually a good mix of people and families hanging out in and enjoying the space. There's a lot of community in this area and it definitely shows at the park. It's been a while since we've visited, and this is my first time here since they reopened the pool last year. It was incredibly busy in that area of the park so we made sure to wander over toward the rose garden where it was much quieter. The roses are in bloom and I took a cute photo of my dog in front of them this afternoon. Even though there were a lot of people at the pool area, the rest of the park had plenty of open space. It can definitely get crowded on the weekends or when there are big events, but typically you can find parking on the street all around the park or in the adjacent neighborhood. Just a few steps away. I did also notice the new self-cleaning restrooms that they installed at the park as we were walking by. You can see the digital displays from the sidewalk, but I did not need to use the restroom so I didn't check them out for myself. It's a very interesting concept however and I applaud the city for doing their part to try to create clean, safe spaces for the community.

Basketball with enclosure so you don't have to chase down every stray missed shot, thank you. A nice walkway to run or walk for better health and get your vitamin D from the California Sun...check! Baseball field to sharpen your skills or just get some exercise, or to coach up your little league team...check again. In short, this park has everything including the music in the park series. And if that's not enough don't miss the Haggin Museum which has some nice pieces in there including the stunning painting of Yosemite Valley. I'll be visiting this park frequently over the summer!

You're gonna see some characters on occasion and there will be shady folks walking through which makes me pause when I'm shooting hoops. Still, it is a nice park that could be great if they added more tables, benches, and maybe some featured activity area. The kids playground is in good shape but too many folks are taking respite near the grocery store wall and they don't seem to be homeowners. I love this neighborhood but it does reflect the best of us and many of those in less fortunate circumstances. They deserve to feel safe too, but our homeless problem needs to be addressed for the community and commerce of Stockton to thrive.

There is some shade here but the playground is a bit exposed to the sun. I never knew the name of this park until recently. I always referred this park as *Lucky Park* that's what I always knew it by. The park is rarely packed and has S-mart foods right next to it. I would take my kids here more but unfortunately they don't care for it that much. We'll only come if it's a little darker and the sun isn't beating down on us. But when we do come, we always have a blast ...Vincent D *VD* Life is Beautiful

To see how the gym looks feels etc. during these transitional times. I was greeted at the front desk by Marissa, who was so pleasant and helpful as I asked questions about how to reserve a class using the app, I was curious about a short tour of the facility, and I had very specific questions about the spinning classes that were offered. With an obvious bright smile under her mask, demonstrated by the joy in her eyes, she walked me around, introduced me to a spinning instructor, and had me feeling so relaxed, that I hung around for 20 minutes and attended the 9 AM cycling class! I have reserved my bike for Thursday 9 o'clock! It's very apparent they respect all of the Covid protocols... I personally, I am grateful, to In Shape, for being open at all during these very very difficult societal and financial times. Thank you Marissa and In Shape West Lane in general for the warm greeting... You have retained a new customer!

When I joined they had a lot of different classes I took & I got hooked on PICKLEBALL!! Yes, the most popular upcoming sport. I've worked my way up to a semi competitive level thanks to instructors John & Korinne! And, I'm pretty much the only Black woman competing here regularly. Everyone has been exceptional, and I feel the love! I'm an athlete & competitor! What I don't like is owners don't listen to advisement on demand & switched up class schedules. They also took away some of our pickleball jamborees so it's hard to compete anymore fighting for ONLY 24 spots a week. It's about 60 players rotating in classes a week, that want to compete, but can't get in. We are not happy!!! Indoor/outdoor pickleball courts. Pool/BBQ area is beautiful lol.. u can literally have a function here on the low. Racketball/volleyball/indoor private practice areas The staff is nice & welcoming every time u enter. This facility is way bigger than other locations, with multiple floors/areas. I'm happy I found my hobby & I'm hoping the owners get it together on the pickleball DEMAND.
