The designs felt sparse and unbalanced, without the fullness or intentional composition typically expected from a professional florist. Based on the condition and presentation, the value does not align with what was likely paid. For comparison, I have consistently seen fresher and more thoughtfully arranged flowers from local grocery stores such as Kroger and HEB at a significantly lower price point. I hope this feedback is taken constructively, as there is clear opportunity to improve both product quality and arrangement standards. Do not expect to receive the same flowers you buy! I have included photos! I paid for a premium bouquet for my cousin who had a baby and I've included the photo of what they received. I called the florist immediately and was told they didn't have the vase or the flowers that were in the original photo. They replaced many of the flowers with carnations and expected me to be ok with that. I wanted a much nicer bouquet for my cousin and his wife. The owner (Maria) said she would refund my money, but she would send someone to pick up the bouquet they already delivered! That was her only solution and with a new baby I did not want them to be bothered and I told her that! She hung up on me! This is not professional! Awesome to have a florist in town with so much experience! This October will be 50 years! I came in and was greeted immediately with a friendly hello. I had to get some last minute flowers for Mother's Day and he was able to put my arrangement together right then and there! The flowers are fresh and he has a great selection at an affordable price. I was so impressed with Athas Florist when they came through with an incredible bouquet for my mother's surprise retirement celebration.  I'd explained that I wanted something joyful with bold colors that incorporated tulips and lilies and I was really blown away by what they created.  I swung by the location to pick up the bouquet and couldn't have been happier.  The owner was very pleasant during the pick-up and had waited for me to arrive before she left to do a few more deliveries.  I'd definitely recommend this florist to friends and family.  Thanks for doing such an amazing job! My wife's favorite color is the purple, they sent some ugly orange tulips I ordered the purple tulips, they argued that they didn't have purple tulips, that is why they sent the orange ones (I just can't believe it) after I complain, they sent somebody to picked up the flowers without fixing their mistake!! Two words: Customer Service. Athas was recommended to me by the florist at Blomma Flower Shop in the Heights. I had originally wanted to speak with them, however she was going out of the country during the time my wedding was happening. I was relieved that she had recommended Athas to me. Ray is very knowledgeable and the nicest person to work with. They are designing the flowers for the church. He is very good at communication with the clients and church (the site). The wedding coordinator at the church was so impressed by his attention to detail that she took down his name and number for future brides to use. I've passed by this florist shop several times, but I won't pass it again! Ray, the proprietor, is personable and professional and knows what he's doing. I love fresh flowers and wanted an arrangement for my house, but I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted. I gave Ray my price point and a general idea of what I like, and he took it from there. I absolutely LOVE the arrangement he made. Hydrangeas, tulips, roses, lilies...it's amazing! If Ray isn't busy and you have the time, stick around while he arranges your flowers.
