Chris and Bethany McDonough of McDonough Environmental Services super, super cleaned our old (126…read moreyears), dank and dirty fieldstone basement as well as cleaned the back addition of the first floor of our house. They did an absolutely AMAZING job transforming our basement into a clean, bright space without mold. I have health problems (likely mold related) and this was worth every penny we paid. Our basement is now clean and dry - probably for the first time in its entire history. Our first floor has also benefited from the extra dryness coming from below. On top of everything they did for us, they are a kind, caring, delightful couple. They showed up every day on time, kept us posted as to everything they did and went above and beyond all expectations in being helpful. Highly, highly recommended. We'd give 10 stars out of 5 possible if we could.

We had the worst experience working with this company. The manager, Kevin is a fast talking…read moresalesman and very disrespectful to his staff. As a homeowner, we trusted that they would abate our asbestos safely and follow proper protocol. After they finished the job, our electrician discovered that they left large quantities vermiculite in the attic and wall cavities and purposely stuffed fiberglass insulation over the vermiculite to intentionally hide it from the inspectors. These areas were easily accessible to their workers and could be reached by their equipment (and easily visible to our electrician). They lied and said the vermiculite was removed from these areas. I suspect that his workers had been trained to purposely cut corners to save time and hide their incomplete work. This was a shocking discovery. They put our health and that of our contractors in great jeopardy by leaving this cancerous material so easily accessible. When I called to have them come back to fix the problem and finish the job, fortunately they did return. However, then we had to witness Kevin yell at his workers, blaming and shaming them for the problem. It was completely inappropriate and a bit staged. I will never work with them again, and would never recommend them.

The quote was extremely affordable, they were promptly at our home each day, they worked diligently from 8-5 each day, their craftsmanship is exemplary, and upon leaving you could never tell they had been here, cleaned up spotlessly!! If there were a 100 star rating, I would give them 300, Full Spectrum Chimney Services is eh very best in their field, as a nervous and skeptical consumer I can say without hesitation, Shawn and Roger absolutely cannot be beat, don't even bother wasting your time with anyone else. Very communicative leading up to the appointment and came right on time. Stenio was really courteous and thorough, and did a great job. An aside: I was worried I'd have to try and move all the furniture myself, but he managed to do it and didn't even need me! Everything looks much better (both my rugs and my upholstered furniture) and I felt like the price was reasonable. Also, the quote I received ahead of time ended up being spot on to the actual cost. I'd had carpet cleaners come before and try to throw on all sorts of extra fees at the last minute, so that was a really welcome change! Definitely would use Super Steamers again.
