DO NOT USE THIS MORTUARY!! Camille released our dads ashes to a family member who was not authorized to receive them. They admitted "they made a mistake and will call the family member to have them returned. But can not force that family member to do so." We'll never get our dads ashes back. We left multiple voicemails for an update and we were not responded to. They finally answered the phone weeks later. Unfortunately this place does not understand their "mistakes" impact peoples lives greatly. We filled out paperwork specifically stating "the ashes are to be released to us and us ONLY.!" That obviously did not matter. We are heartbroken over this "mistake" which now, can not be rectified. read more

I had a horrible experience with Seasons End & I have gone back & forth on whether to post. Since it is still so upsetting to me, I am going to share. My husband died 12/26/21. I knew of Christina because she handled a cremation for my sons Dad in 2018 & everything was handled quickly & professionally. I couldn't reach her on the phone on 12/27 so I drove to her business. She did meet with me but was visibly upset about a family member being hurt in an accident. I did advise I could go elsewhere if she was too upset to handle my husbands remains. She assured me she could do it. She took notes on a legal pad, went over pricing, & was going to contact the VA to arrange a military service 1/6 & said she would email me paperwork to sign. She also said she would take all of my husbands meds & dispose for us. On 12/27 we drop off all his meds & I ask if I can talk to her, I was advised she wasn't available. On 12/28 I called again to talk to her, she is not available. I continued to call that week to let her know we needed to change the date of the service to April due to family members availability. I left messages with her staff, messages with the answering service & sent emails. No phone calls & NO PAPERWORK. I tried again on 1/3, still no response or paperwork. By now I'm getting worried on where my husband even was! On 1/4 I contacted Mountain View Funeral & explained my situation. They advised you have to sign paperwork to have anyone cremated & I could change mortuaries if I wanted. I immediately called Seasons End & wouldn't hang up until Christina got on the phone. My husband had been in her care for a week with nothing done. yes I could transfer him & it would cost $350! I did end up using Superstition Cremation which Mountain View referred to me & they picked him up 1/4. I had to go through the gut wrenching process to arrange everything all over again on 1/5. However, they were in constant contact with me & the process took less than a week ! I have never received any paperwork from Seasons End but was charged $350 from Superstition because they had to pay Seasons End. Im not even sure if it was legal for her not to have me sign paperwork on 12/27.. I am still very upset on how everything was handled. read more

As a Chaplain, I have used and recommended At Seasons End for cremation. I have used them personally for family and friends on four occasions. They are not the fanciest mortuary but they provide the basic services for a fair price because they keep their cost low. Usually their cost for cremation is half that of the larger more established mortuaries. This cost savings is a blessing for those on a limited income. I have always been treated with respect and professionalism by the staff. read more

I recently had to endure the passing of my beloved husband Ron. It still hurts to this day and probably always will. However, when the Mesa FD recommended At Seasons End in my daze I signed up with them for the process that had to take place. Christina, you were amazing, held my hand as a sobbed and helped me through what was almost unbearable. You treated me with kindness and his body with dignity. I'll never forget our talks and how you asked me what was his favorite color. When I said "blue" you returned with a little vial for a key chain and said you'll get this back when it's time and he will always be with you. That happened and I cannot thank you enough. If you have to go through the painful process of losing a beloved as I did I would recommend going here and especially asking for Christina. read more

I've waited quite a while to write this review because I didn't want it to be from anger or grief. I've decided to just say this: This place absolutely treated my mom terribly when her husband passed away. There was no compassion. There was no understanding. They discussed openly- and without concern for my mom or his family hearing- how hard it was to carry my step dad out because of his weight. My mom still tears up when we drive by this business remembering the hurtful things they said. I do not recommend this business. It takes a special kind of person to handle such an emotionally charged situation with grace. These people have none. read more

I had one horror after another dealing with this Mortuary. From my initial phone call on 12/14/21, the day after my husband's death . I realize we are all suffering from coronavirus but here business skills, delays, and inept organizational skills are definitely in question. When I did finally meet Christina in person she was two hours late for a pre-arranged meeting to pick up my husband's ashes, and the five death certificates she was weaving and swaying as if on drugs and was not prepared with the ashes or death certificates. The Mortuary had contacted me the day before stating, "the ashes and five certificates were ready ". Took an additional hour with Christina going in and out of her business with delays. I never got the death certificates which they told me were also ready. Christina said the State of Arizona had closed down her business that very day and made her lock the doors. What was a very painful situation was worsened by delays, inefficient office skills which delayed the process any multiple levels, to the final process of picking up the remains. The Mortuary had been paid-in-full on 1/7/22, and would have been sooner had they been more organized. There was no dignity or respect for my husband or my family. A death is painful, but when your loved one is taken to a shoddy Mortuary the process becomes even more painful. Just remember that the State closed them down for a reason. read more

My mother had called 12/14 to start arrangements up. As soon as my mother called (which was on speaker phone) Christina had asked what we were planning on doing with my father's ashes. As soon as we had mentioned burying him in the roots of a tree, she automatically said "that's a scam, you can bury him under roses." Then she proceeded to tell my mother about her own life stories of how her grandmother would plant fish heads under rose bushes. At first I chaulked this up to Christina wanting make my mother less somber but this was not the time to do so. After repeatedly trying to get Christina off the phone multiple times because Christina was rattling off about her own family. After playing phone tag with Christina for 2 weeks and definite answers on pricing and timeframes, I had called and spoke to the receptionist and she said that Christina was out with Covid for the 3rd time. The receptionist asked if she could help, I gave her my father's information and the receptionist had difficulty finding him. Then told me the WRONG INFORMATION on him. I was upset and she said that Christina is the only one that really knows anything about any of the deceased in their establishment so she may be able to have a volunteer call us later with POSSIBLE ACCURATE INFORMATION. Then the holidays came, we made it through the 3rd week of not knowing where my father is and when we can get closure. The 4th- 5th week, we had a celebration of life for my father and really wanted to know what was going on. That is when Christina said that she couldn't read the documents, the documents sent almost 2 weeks before. A week later (last week) Christina said that my father would be ready for pick up on Wednesday or Friday. My mother called on Friday with the expectation that Friday would be the day. Nope, my mom was told, "we will call you, you don't have to call us". Tuesday 1/18 my mother called me at work and said that my father was ready for pickup with the death certificates but we have an appointment to pick them up Wednesday 1/19 between 1-2. We arrive at their location Wednesday 1/19 and their doors were locked, lights in the front were off but some in the back were on. When we walked up to the office door, the window sill had its own bug cemetery We knocked and called on the phone, got the answering service who told us that Christina would come to the door right away. We waited for 20 minutes, still nothing. Called again, the answering service told us the same thing about them coming to the door right away. Waited another 15-20 minutes, my mother called again and the answering service said "Christina will call you back immediately." I called AJ nonemergency line, explained the situation and I kid you not, the dispatch says "didn't I just talk to you a couple of days ago about this?" That response didn't give me much faith. I get back to my car livid. I was about to put my car into reverse and a woman poked her head out of the office door. My mother explains who we are and she says that she is Christina and that the state had shut her down. When Christina came outside of the door she was stumbling and used the wall to prop her up like she was on drugs or had been drinking. We asked her if we could get my father and fill up the 6 urn necklaces for some of the family. 10-15 minutes later Christina comes out empty-handed, she asked my mother if she received a call. My mother replied with "yes, you told me yesterday that my husband was here." Christina said she didn't see him and would check again. Then Christina came back out stumbling and almost falling to the ground about 10-15 minutes later again, empty-handed. This time Christina said that my father had just got there 20 minutes ago, which my mother and I knew was a lie since we had been there for 2 hours at this point. Christina then proceeds to tell us that it would take 15-20 minutes to prepare him and to get the necklaces filled. Christina came back out a 4th time,empty-handed said she couldn't fill "1 of the 7 necklaces", I corrected her and said there are 6 and she said, "it is all the same". No, no it is not. I do not want someone else's loved one. I asked her to bring everything out. She came out, unsteady. I was afraid she was going to drop my father and the OPEN URN would scatter everywhere. Christina did not have the death certificates we paid for, she said that it would take 5 weeks from the state. I asked for my father's remains while my mother was arguing with her about my mother paying and not receiving but Christina's slurred snarky response was "you need to respect him, he is a person and I need to explain this to you." That threw me over the ledge. I ended up recording Christina for the rest of the time, tracking her slurred responses and disrespect. Then Christina told us that we should not believe the state (who in fact sent the certificates 1/11 but). We are angry at the level of disrespect Christina had for my family and especially my father. read more

Never pushed to do anything more than we asked when it came to preparing cremation for our loved one.
