It was a horrible experience, and no one on the team seemed to know what they were doing. Updates via email were non-informative; just the same contact information, agent photos and legal disclaimers. Then the icing on the cake was getting their demand for sensitive identity information and ID photocopies only hours before close. They had me over a barrel and I could either submit the information over unsecured email or risk being in breach of contract. I understand statutory requirements, but nothing explains why this required info was demanded at the 11th hour, or why it wasn't provided with the rest of the documents. My close was at risk, I couldn't sleep, and the sad thing is that it all could have been avoided if Rainier just did their job. Feel free to use these guys if you like drama and surprises. For me, I will write into my future deals not to use Rainier to handle title.

They also respond to emails in a timely manner and very professional in their response. I don't always like their responses aka with the dumpster situation. I suggested that with owner approval that they build a wall for the dumpster with a gate that gets locked up at night and no roof on it so that the city of Spokane can still service the dumpster but that was meet with "call crime check if the dumpster divers return" I have been doing that. it doesn't deter them. They don't seem to care about crime check seeing as they don't always come when you call. I would like management and the owner to think of something because I would like to be able to sleep and pay rent on time. That's the only reason way I pay late- that's where things can improve- but overall I'm happy with the staff and I'm happy with Samantha who very much keeps things professional- which helps me stay professional when talking to them. I hope and I pray that the owner keeps them for a long time because things are moving in the right direction. They are here to manage the property and they are moving things in the right direction. The dumpster may well be a lost cause (I hope not) but I do want to stay longer than I wanted with the previous management. I am starting to feel safer living at this building now with Coast as the property management company. To the owner of Westminster Apartments who sees this, I hope you keep them because they are protecting your money and making sure people are happy.

As we speak, I'm sitting in my freezing cold apartment with no heat and no access to anyone to fix it or even report it- no monitored phone number, no email, no property manager, and no way to leave a voicemail about issues. The only way you'll ever get ahold of anyone at Coast is to visit their office in Everett because they deliberately make it impossible to report even serious issues. They're more than bad, they are engaging in illegal housing practices.
