Jen was exactly who we needed to sell our house and buy a new one! After being recommended to us for her no fluff approach, we went from browsing Redfin sporadically for years, to calling her, to listing our house within a week. During this time, she contacted the selling agent (for the house we just moved into) and got a feel for if they would accept a contingency offer. Sellers seemed receptive, which most people know hasn't been the case for several years now. A day or two later, the sellers had accepted our contingency offer. She also encouraged us to have a pre-listing inspection done, so that we could address repair items before posting the house for sale, and that turned out to be great advice, because it saved time later. Jen then recommended a list price that got us under contract within the average time that a house in the Seattle area spends on market, which was acceptable to us, but also made us feel that we didn't leave money on the table after closing the deal. You know I think that a lot of reviews are 5 stars because everything went well and if you think about it, that is not really a good test. First let me say, everything did go well but not because I made it easy. First I was selling a house in WA and I am in Idaho and I insisted that all transactions would be online because that's how I like to do business. I also left the house needing repairs to the heating system and a fair amount of yard work, cleaning, drywall patching etc. Jen was able to coordinate all this work and stage the house in my absence. Jen is a "Yes" person. Whatever you need, she will make it happen. Jen is very smart and experienced and nothing phases her. She is reliable and communicates well. Over the years I have found that almost all realtors seem great until things start to go sideways, that's when you find out who the real performers are.
