I had no service on my phone and drove 25 miles to this AT&T with being disabled for 10 years and not driving well. It took me about 5 minutes to get in to the door where I seen two lady employees standing and not busy. I talked to the employee that had a clip on the bottom of her nose and told her that I had a spam issue with my phone and could not use it with all the adds popping up. She told me that I would have to drive to Alton another 25 miles to get this fixed and that I would have to get another cellphone number and start over with all my listings and that they could not fix this. The person that I had to fix this back to normal was very nice and took my phone in her hands and 45 minutes later handed me my phone and it was back to normal with my phone number and all my data. Why didn't these ladies at AT&T that were standing around and not busy try to send me 25 miles from their office to Alton I don't know and if it was too much work to do or they did not know how to do it?I will have to contact AT&T about this and ask for my money deducted from my account and get a new service. read more

BE CAREFUL WITH THIS STORE went in to trade in my old phone for a new one and begged them to let me know of any changes to the plan and make sure not to spike my bill. They did the complete opposite spiking my bill 2.5x without any notice or warning then making me jump through all these hoops to get this extra line I NEVER NEEDED taken off my account that's charging me 100s of dollars more a month. and when I finally come back to see what's going on they said they had absolutely no recollection of my iPhone 13 I had brought in and traded almost like they lost it and made me bring a receipt to prove I had made a trade in. looking back on it just wanting to trade my phone in and get a new one was literally one of the worst mistakes I've made and has caused me so much unnecessary trouble and stress for absolutely no reason. And not too mention if you go in store to cancel a line they just tell you they can't help you and to call customer service which I thought was funny you can start a line with them but can't cancel one. read more

If you are looking for help with anything related to your AT&T account, this isn't the place. Can't help you with billing errors. Refused to help with a $850 trade in phone. Basically offered me the option to return the phone and redo the transaction. On my fourth call to the corporate customer service line, we discovered it was the error that the sales representative at this location. Manager was well trained in not helping a customer and a smart attitude. Obviously they are really good at avoiding any work. I will never return and most likely change companies at the end of my contract read more

BUYER BEWARE!!! They are NOT a Corporate Store and if you have any issues or discrepancies AT&T Corp cannot help you. Can't really say why, they just can't. The visit started out with all the right answers and promises of new phones with FREE phone cases. We were also told the activation fee for these new phones were around $80, which include taxes and fees. Upon receiving the paid receipt we were charged for the "FREE" cases. An extra $40 for one and $50 for another, that is why the "activation" fee was $80. Should have been around $40. Called the store and spoke with Manger Alex, upon which she stated. "We told you what was in the "bundle". There was never a mention of a bundle. Not my first time around the block and I can assure you we were told FREE cases with new phones. Not that $90 is going to put me on the streets, but I don't like being lied to!! Make sure you see all the paperwork BEFORE you pay or sign anything!! DON'T GO HERE!!! read more

If you want a contract for AT&T, and you use the Wood River location, you will regret it for the duration of that contract. Wanted to move all our phones to one carrier. Visited this location and was quoted a price that was acceptable and competitive with our other carrier. After signing the contract we received our first bill and it was twice the quoted price. We inquired why and were told first month is always high. Now we are into the second month and it is still well over our initial quote. Just pass this place up. read more
