Service sucked. I went in with a problem with a phone they sold me not less than 3 weeks ago. They couldn't figure it out, googled generic answers for Android phones, and then told me I was out of luck. The guy I was working with said maybe someone else could help, walked to the back, and 10 minutes later, walked past me out the door to leave. I asked someone else for help and all they offered was a phone number to call. I sat there and googled the actual manual for the device they sold me and figured out more myself. It's enough to make me want to cancel my Uverse and Internet Air and my 9 lines of cellular service. I've been dealing with AT&T since I called to help with an issue in April. The customer service representative changed something because it would be so much better for me. I didn't ask her to make any changes. The result is I've been overcharged starting with my May bill and after calling every month after receiving my new statement the problem hasn't been resolved. They removed my discounts for paperless billing and Auto-pay which increased my monthly payment $40.36. I've always had both, auto-pay and paperless billing. I STILL HAVE BOTH but for some reason beyond my comprehension this issue has not been resolved for FIVE MONTHS. The last time I called AT&T the customer service representative suggested I go to a corporate store, the closest store is the Danada store in Wheaton. Melissa, the manager assisted me and said I should receive a phone call from AT&T within 1-2 days. That was over a week ago. Melissa even gave me her cell phone number which was very appreciated at the time, unfortunately Melissa NEVER answers her phone and NEVER returns my calls If I could give ZERO stars, I absolutely would. What a disaster it's been and I've been a customer since the start of this company. So much for my dedication. They care NOTHING for their customers and can't find one competent employee to fix the problem. One time I received a credit for the overpayment. I have had a very bad experience with the Danada store. On Sept 30 I ordered an iPhone 17 Pro Max. The salesperson said it would be delivered in 5-7 days. It is now October 29 and I haven't received my new phone nor any updates. I tried to use the text link to check on the order status but it stated it couldn't track my order. After two weeks of waiting, I returned to the store to ask for help in tracking my delivery. The store manager refused to even come out of the back room to help, instead telling the staff to direct me to call the AT & T phone contact. I have called it 3 times in the past 2 weeks but they were uncertain when the phone would come, stating they had until October 28 to send it to me. I feel I am stuck now with no phone and no information and no way to obtain help or to cancel the order (I tried but the offshore customer service representative said he couldn't cancel it). This is very poor customer service. For this reason I will not return to and A T & T store for future purchases. I plan to go to the Apple Store from now on because they are courteous and helpful there. I should have done that from the start. read more

I upgraded my phone there and they added in a new phone to my plan that I did not discover until the next billing cycle. It took me months to get it fixed. my experience with Thie retail site for wireless services have been dishonest and exolotive. it also had tampered my property and security rights of accounts and lines purchased by unauthorized and knowingly having a sales person tamper with one of my i phones by swapping the sim card i did not purchase or authorize creating a regulation and security violation as well breaching the AT&t protocol that federally is accountable. escalation to have this founded has been horrendous and would not recommend this wireless or other services by this company or retail to any one regretably. read more

Clean, Open, and Well-Staffed store with Knowledgable Employees My IPhone5 was stolen and I needed to get a new one. I didn't have the right type of insurance that covers the lost and stolen phones, I was not due for an upgrade, and wasn't eligible for any of the plans I knew about. Basically, I was floating down crap creek without a paddle or a smartphone. I go into the store fully expecting to pay $702.00 for my new phone and put it all behind me. I talked with one of the Retail Sales Consultants, Yatin "Tin" or "Tin Man". He looked over the account and I explained the whole situation, he apologized for the loss of the phone and told me some of the options, all of which I believe I had heard before. He goes in to the back and I wait at the counter. All of a sudden he bursts through the door exclaiming he may have thought of a way that I could finance the new phone for less and still leave the other lines unaffected. He also looked through the account and applied a discount I didn't know I was eligible for that tax-exempted my purchase. All in all Yatin dropped what would have been $702 on the spot, to $540 with nothing due that day. Awesome! Even though I was there forever it was totally worth the wait. The people working there, especially Yatin, seemed genuinely enthusiastic about helping me fix my problems and definitely went the extra mile for me. Great stuff! read more

I'm surprised I haven't reviewed this place yet! Of all the AT&T stores, this is one out of two I will ever go into and the Wheaton location is my favourite. I've been helped by some great associates over the years but Ahmond on a couple occasions inspired me to review the store. He was incredibly helpful, kind, friendly, and helped me get in and out fo the store quickly! Major bonus. Coming into the Wheaton AT&T store gives me hope that a positive resolution will come from any potential problems, that my questions will be answered and addressed appropriately, and that my services will be reviewed and they will happily assist me in making sure I have the best plans for what I need. This particular store is roomy and has a great selection of neatly displayed products. There is plenty of parking nearby and many stores for running other errands. Now is the company of AT&T would get their sh*t together, (I know everyone reading this likely has their own WTF story with one or more AT&T services or billing...) After 3 years with my 1st generation iPhone 2G, I decided it was time to get a new phone and renew my contract. I went within an hour of the store opening. When I walked in there were several employees standing and waiting for customers. 1 employee greeted me and asked if I had any questions. I inquired where the Blackberries were (yes, I went from an iPhone to a Blackberry). He showed me their selection. To be honest, I wasn't impressed with what they had. I think they only had 3 or 4 Blackberry models on display - 1 of which wasn't in stock. Luckily I had done a lot of research before going to the store, so I pretty much knew what I wanted. The model I was eyeing happened to be in stock, which made my day. The employee who helped me was very nice, but didn't seem to know a lot about Blackberries. But in his defense, he did know a lot about the different plans available and was able to walk me through the transition from my iPhone to my new Blackberry. When I made my final decision (after about 10 minutes) we were at the desk getting checked out. The checkout process is relatively easy, though it does take some time. Because I had some time while he got me set up with my new phone, I went to look at phone holders. Their selection was horrible!!! The employee helping me went and got me a generic holder, which I really appreciated. Once the checkout process was complete, he took my iPhone and new Blackberry and transferred all my contacts - saving me a lot of time and a big headache later on. In less than an hour I was in-and-out with my new phone - I was very happy, to say the least. Here's why I gave this AT&T store 3 stars: - It's AT&T. Their coverage seems to be spotty, especially when I'm traveling to areas on the west coast. I also think they're on the expensive side. - Their selection of Blackberries was awful. - Their selection of phone holders was even worse. That's it. The store is nicely laid out, lots of browsing room and a friendly staff. If you are with AT&T and need to upgrade you phone, this place is worth the trip. read more

After a 30% one month increase on our monthly bill, my wife called and was assured our bill would be reduced after a new service was installed. 2 separate AT&T techs visited our house and were not able to finish the upgrade. When I showed up at the appointment time I was told that there were 3 people who were "walk ins" ahead of me and the wait time would be 30-45 minutes. When I asked the manager what was the point of making an appointment he told that he has to take care of the customers who had just walked in. There was nothing friendly or helpful about his attitude. Also the manager was just standing around. When I asked if he could help, he said No. AT&T your service with cell phones isn't that great. When we visit Robert at the Danada store he goes above & beyond every single time we need assistance. I can't imagine getting service any where else. After my last experience at a different AT&T store, I was wary of going here. The short version of my story is that I bought a phone and returned it and they were still charging me for it on my AT&T bill. AT&T said the return hadn't been processed right and Best Buy acted like it was AT&T's fault. After asking the AT&T representative on the phone what to tell the Best Buy people to get it fixed it, I was put on hold and then told to go to an AT&T store. Well, my last experience was not good, so I went to a different store, this one. At first I was put off by the check in process, but there were lots of people in the store. I heard some REALLY stupid questions like "will using a cell phone in my house affect my hard line service?" so I started feeling kind of bad for the employees! I only had to wait about 5 minutes and someone started helping me. I told him the story, showed him my receipt, verified my phone number and gave them my driver's license. Then he went in the back and I thought I was doomed. He came out a few minutes later, said it was resolved and watch the bill for the credit. That was it! While I will still avoid phone stores like the plague, I'm glad my whole day wasn't ruined by this visit. read more

Went to the danada store today to switch from my moms plan to my fiance's plan and also to upgrade to an iphone. Calen was the sales associate that helped us and he was awesome! He didn't try to sell us anything we didn't need, which is always appreciated!! He seemed extremely knowledgeable about the phone and plans, and the whole process was surprisingly painless. The store was crowded (I have never been in an at&t store on the weekend that wasn't), but they seemed well staffed so overall we had a positive experience there and would definitely go back. I will add that the phone cases are ridiculously overpriced, but that's at&t so not blaming the employees :) read more

This is a little belated but well deserved. I can't say enough as to how my wife and I were treated while upgrading our phones. My hats off to Yatin Patel or "Tin" for short. This man should be the poster boy for customer service procedures!! After a very unpleasant experiance at a store in Joliet Mall a few days prior we came in expecting the same old treatment but was relieved immediatly to find an understanding , patient and knowledgble person who guided us through the process of not only our upgrade to i phone 5 but our entire U-verse package. This used to be my #1 AT&T store for Years. I went in on Sunday to purchase a new I phone an Rawan was the service representative I received for assistance. She put the phone in the case never showed me how to work it my last I phone was an I phone 6 she proceeded to tell me she couldn't transfer contacts I would need to go to the Apple store. Rawan then proceeded to tell me I have been using 8 gb of data a month did I want to change my plan? It would save me money so I said sure. I ended up going to the Very helpful at@t store on Roosevelt rd in Glen Ellyn and they showed me how to use the phone and then today ( Rawan diI stopped into the Glen I am using 1-2 gb a month she was not trained well. That manager that is there now has no idea what service recovery means!I strongly recommend staying away from this store go to the Glen Ellyn store they are MUCH more customer focused with a well trained staff ADDENDUM-there Won't be a second Time You had an Opportunity to keep a customer THEN You DID NOTHING I was dispensable. This AT&T store is the best! I cannot thank enough to Ryane (hope I am spelling her name correctly), who helped me to resolve the problems that I brought from Apple Store! She and the store manager Kentaro, were able to figure out all of the issues in minutes... (Apple store couldn't figure out for two days) and I was able to get my iPhone 6 plus there! Ryane was not only helpful, but also kind enough to give me some other options I could take. I think I visited there just right timing but the store itself is clean, quiet (in good way) and everyone was very friendly. I will come here to ask my questions from now on - I will definitely pass the Apple Store where is always ridiculously crowded & can only limited settings/ can give limited resolutions when it comes to the issue between iPhone and the carrier company. read more

Can I please rate them a negative 5? we signed up for mobile service and cancelled within the 14 days. we were promised a rit would be credited since we were cancelling less than 2 weeks. we were charged all these activation fees when we shouldn't have been because we have a discount through our company. they have never credited anything and it's almost been a year and now we are in collections. this store says they cannot do anything. we call att and they cannot do anything even though they repeatedly tell us that it will be credited and a mistake was made. this is now hurting our credit. we are going after att in any way that we can. bbb, illinois attorney general will be getting filed complaints from us and we will seek an attorney if it comes to that. shame on you att for this horrific customer service. read more

I went to the Danada store in July for bogo iphones and new service. Josh (last name Irazari?) was helping me, sold me the phones under the promotion, and helped set up 2 new lines for me. To be clear, both my boyfriend and I discussed the buy one get one with Josh and it was definitely understood on all ends that this was the deal. After several calls to customer service about why I'm still paying for the 2nd phone, I'm only now being told that the promo doesn't apply to me because I didn't sign up for direct tv. Josh certainly OFFERED direct tv, as did every other customer service rep that I've talked to since then, but I declined as I have absolutely zero interest in cable in any form. After being on the phone with customer service and 2 visits to my local corporate store, where the only person I've so far spoken with has been willing to help, I'm now trying to deal with the Danada store, as I'm told this is the only point that can do anything. Management at this store was notified by corporate last night, WE called them today, and still have not been called back or been offered any resolution whatsoever. Josh seriously screwed me over and is acting like he has no idea how this could have happened. The ONLY reason I went to ATT is for this promotion. I spent days looking at rate plans for T-Mobile, Verizon, and AT&T, and although I didn't particularly want to go to AT&T, I did for the iPhone promo because there was going to be a very short time period where we needed 2 phones. I seriously can't believe that a company as big as this has no accountability for scamming their customers. I have never left a review like this but I am beyond livid with this company. 7Plus Nightmare Exchange. Monday 6/19/2017 I purchased brand new iPhone 7Plus 128GB at 260 Danada Square, IL. 60189 on Sunday. It's was quick and pleasant. Then, the nightmare and slaughter spin cycle begin. I visited at&t store in Danada Square where I purchased the phone the day before. I told the Sales representative the brand new right out of the box iPhone 7Plus bottom screen is loose. He tested it, and agreed. I asked him to exchange for a new one. He went to have a word with his "Retail Sales Manager" Mr. Michael Flores. He, then, came back and passed me to Mr. Flores. I felt like I'd walked into a slaughter house to be slaughtered, only I didn't know at first. Not until later. I had to explained to Mr. Flores again about the 7Plus defect right out of the box. He didn't even examine the phone. He began to read me the riot act. "Do you still have the receipt?", he asked me. "Yes, here," as I handed over the receipt document. Mr. Flores flipped over the receipt and began reading the back page, the riot act, to me. He said "After an hour you purchased the phone, it says here, 'AT&T does not cover or service warranty issue for Apple devices...' You need to go to the Apple store for the new phone." I was very disturbed, nerves numbed, and disoriented by what he said. I saw his two Sales representatives reactions were just as surprised as what I heard. I asked Mr. Flores again, "Are you serious? 'After one hour'?". I looked to the young man Sales representative (who led me to the slaughter to be slaughtered) standing next to me to confirm. Not a breath of word of confirmation from him. I looked over to the young woman Sales representative, who saw and heard our exchanges, but didn't moved as much as making a sound. I continued on pleading with Mr. Flores, "But, I purchased the phone here yesterday." I explained to him that's the reason why I came back to his store, which is to exchange for the new phone. He pointed to me again the riot act. I asked about a full refund. "You would have to pay for the early $40 termination fee," he replied while still had in his possession of my receipt in his hand without looking the at it. I plead again, "But I've already paid in full for everything." Still, without looking at the document supporting my argument, he repeated again. Now, at this point, had he read the document in his hand, he would have seen all payments were paid in full for the prepaid plan, yesterday. Still not seeing the items ledger, he handed the document back to me along with his business card and moved me along on my way to the Apple Store. "Will Apple Store exchange for a new phone?", knowing very well they might not because I didn't purchase the phone at their store. "Yes," he reassured me. All they do, he explained, is moving the chip from one phone to another." Apple Store. Almost One hour and 30 minutes of waiting, the Apple Store staffs and Manager tested and confirmed the new iPhone 7Plus out of the box is a defect. They tried calling Mr. Flores, but cannot reached him and the store closes for the night, 8PM Central. They send be me on my way back to at&t with their written report. read more
