We remembered there was an ATT store on Weston Road (same plaza as Lucille's and the nitro ice cream place). This is an ATT authorized dealer, not a corporate store so the up sale pressure was definitely not the same. We walked in at 7:15pm. One would think that they close at 8pm and they'd try to rush us out...nope. We didn't leave until 8:45pm. Picking out the phone was easy. Getting the credit for the phone we were turning in was not, only because my husband's phone had damage to the digitizer so it was going bonkers. The 2 members of the staff worked on getting the phone to reset so they could take the trade in. Because of their efforts, we were able to get the $20 for trade in and the $180 that Samsung & att were offering. Not once did we feel pressured to spend more money (like we do when we go to an ATT store) and we also weren't rushed out the door. They just worked with us, on a Saturday night, until we were done. After we left, my husband realized he forgot the memory card that was in his old phone. He went back when they opened and was able to retrieve it. All in all, this was a great experience and I would definitely go back next time I need a phone.

He did the whole thing while standing next to a counter even though there is a work desk with chair for clients. The store was empty so I don't see why standing was the best option but nonetheless it was pretty quick (15 min max) They didn't have the phone i wanted to they shipped it to my house and I needed to return the old phone once I got it. I came back in for the return and two employees were sitting (one behind the desk and the other one in what would be a Client chair) The guy behind the desk got up and grabbed my phone and once again I was left standing there. The other guy didn't even look up from his phone. They told me I had to bring the phone to UPS which wasn't mentioned the first time around. He also told me they were out of boxes and I had to see if UPS would give me one. All in all the process was pretty quick but the customer service was subpar.

Met with the sole employee, Amanda, who was super nice. She noticed the faulty port on my phone and then provided me with a part repair cost of $109.00, which is cheaper but almost the cost of a new phone through insurance.

Left the phone there for 4 hours and when we returned the rep said that when he was doing the data extraction the phone "restarted itself and restored itself to factory settings" and all data was wiped out and lost. He had put a temp replacement screen to show us it was glitching and not staying on for more than 1 minute. He gave us a brochure to ship out the phone to a company they are affiliated with in California which supposedly specially in tough cases. The company quoted $700 to $3,900 range for the service. We went to another place around the corner on Shenandoah Plaza and they said all the phone needed was a new screen. We paid $40 for a new screen and the phone worked as new. Sadly all the data and years of pictures are lost. The rep couldn't even own up to messing up and made it seem like it was a bigger issue that a simple screen replacement. He was also condescending and rude. If we hadn't gone to another place we would've ended up having to buy a new phone. Do not trust this place with your phone unless it is a basic simplistic repair. Even better, don't risk getting incorrect diagnosis and loose your memories or have to buy a new phone. Go less than a mile away to Shenandoah Plaza.

The staff is very friendly, professional, and attentive. They really listen to your concerns and take the time to make sure everything is fixed 100% correctly. I especially appreciated their precision and commitment to getting the phone working perfectly again. They clearly care about customer satisfaction and stand behind their work. I would without a doubt definitely recommend Techy to anyone who needs phone repairs of any kind.

So, I went into this phone repair store and inquired how much a new screen would be without insurance, if I cancelled mine. The young counter girl immediately answered me with a price of $300.00 for a new glass cover and labor. This repair price quote is what I am paying for insurance over three years and then I still would still need to pay the deductible of $250.00, then get a new "refurbished" phone anyways through Assurian. Still not sure which is the better route. The store is super organized and clean with good customer service. Offers a good variety of phone covers, keyboards, chargers and premium ipad cases.
