I didn't hear anything for several weeks and started to believe the saw was lost in the postal service's abyss, then one morning I woke up with a missed call from McQuade & Bannigan. Within an hour one of the McQuade folks called me again and let me know they dropped-off a brand new saw and put it on my back porch. It was a great surprise to receive a new saw, first, and an even greater surprise to have the McQuade folks personally deliver the saw to my home 100 miles away from their shop. How cool is that and what wonderful customer service.

I don't mind paying high for good service but in this case - the service was definitely not customer friendly and definitely not worth how much I paid. I paid for the service hoping that when I returned that the customer service would change - nope! I guess they can get away with this being the ONLY bike shop like this in town.
