My phone flew off the cars roof probably around 70-75 MPH. Once we realize the phone was missing we had to use find my friends to locate the phone. It was located off the side of Route 24 & the entire screen was completely destroyed. We went to Verizon to purchase a new phone and the kid who activated the new phone completely screwed it up. All my emails, messages and contacts were gone. I went to Verizon wireless in Swansea and because I don't use iCloud back up my only hope was to have the phone repaired. I left a message but was never called back. I drove to Screen Doctor, a 20 minute ride, on August 26 to check on the battery's status, and after he made an online check he told me that it wouldn't arrive until August 28. By August 29 I hadn't heard back, so I called in the late afternoon and was told that he had to go to the shop to see if the battery had arrived. He would call me back in five minutes. He never did. On August 29 I called again and left a another message, this time I was irritated.. Someone got back to me in about five minutes. He said he would go to the shop and check on the battery. He called back a few hours later and said that it had arrived. I told him I'd pay for the battery but I didn't want to have him install it after all the trouble I'd had. I went there today, Sept 1. The tech I saw, who was relaxing with his feet up on the counter, chatting with someone, went in the back room, mumbling something I couldn't understand, and came out telling me it wasn't the right battery. He gave me back my money. Three trips, wasted time, and nothing to show for my effort. I give Screen Doctor 5 negative stars. One of the worst experiences I've had with customer service.

I walked in and the buying process was as smooth as it could have been. The refurbished phone was a bit scratched up but seemed to work fine. Two hours later the back of the refurbished phone (iPhone) was peeling off. For me it was a bad sign (if the back of the phone was already peeling off, what else will break? It just seemed like shotty work). I went back for a refund as the phone did not seem to be in good condition. I was told that there would be a restocking fee... fine. Then they told me they were doing me a "favor" by accepting my return, and that within the 3 hours that I was gone they sold my trade-in device. Note that there was no signage in the store, or on my receipt stating that there wasn't a refund policy. So because of how "complicated" the transaction was I was only able to be refunded for the actual money that was paid (I completely lost my trade-in; I said that he had no problem assigning a cash value for it earlier in the transaction. I was basically told that there was not enough margin for him to refund me the agreed upon trade-in value? ). I would not recommend doing business here.
