I had difficulty transferring my phone number from another cell company. These were difficulties…read morerelated to that company holding the porting of the number for 3 days after the activation process was initiated. At the same time they deactivated my account. Several Verizon employees worked hard to help me get my phone working again so I would not be out of phone service for 3 days. Thanks goes to Kia in Porting and Activation for getting my number over to Verizon in 20 minutes instead of 3 days. Thanks to Jason R. in Middlebury for helping me work with a Verizon Team of 2 who helped fix issues related to this delay by activating my phone, setting up my account, and ensuring the phone worked before I left.

But, what an enjoyable time while waiting. People came in and out with a variety of problems which were fixed with humor and cheer. They tell us customers spot them in completely different states and beeline for them...."thank god you're here. I'm having a little problem with my connection...". Together, as my contacts, photos and apps were transferring we discussed all the episodes of "Yellowstone", debated whether Jamie was a good guy or a bad guy, wondered if the boy in the bunkhouse is somehow Rip's son (they resemble each other), and how those that sing on the show do have nice voices. Before you know it, everything was transferred, I had a new phone, a new screen protector, camera protector, case and charging cord.
