I purchased a new Apple phone from the AT&T store at the Triangle Mall three weeks back. It was evident from the onset, that I was not getting sound notifications that someone was trying to contact me. I went to the Apple store in NY city and they couldn't find the problem. I went into the store in Longview and finally got a person, named Imani. She didn't give the typical store response of "We don't provide service or tech support " she took me to her table and dug right in by trying different things. Very calm and patient. She finally found the problem and in five minutes I was walking out the door. What a marvelous lady she was. She needs and deserves a raise. read more

RANT: I've had it with AT&T. Never, Never again will I do business with these CROOKS! I saw them at a festival, and was told about the great discounts and deals they had, and how I could save $ by switching my wireless over to them. So I went home, printed up my last couple of bills from Xfinity, so I can compare. I was quoted $35 per line for the unlimited starter pack. Sounded great. But I did have to get a new device for one of the lines. Hey, no problem. They had a decent LG phone that would only be a $1 a month. So I took the bait. I got the first bill and it seemed high, but because of prorated billing period. I let that one slide and waited for my true second bill. Well I got by 2nd bill. And boy was I in for a shock. Here is the list of lies/issues. I was told $35 per month per line. Well because I had 2 lines instead of 4, I was being charged $80 per line. Now in the store I was told $35 per line period. I was NOT told I had to have 4 lines. Insurance. Well they slammed me with a $40 a month for 4 devices. I don't know why, when I only have 2 lines. Talking to the Loyalty department, they change it to $8.99 per line. I was also told I was already saving $10 per line per month, because of automatic payments, but was being charged $10 per line per month for not having paperless billing. I assumed that I was still getting paperless billing already. Now mind you to get the $35 per month per line you must have the following. 4 lines Automatic payments Paperless billing. Otherwise you're paying $10 more per device, per month for each of the last 2 Qualifiers. Next I was noticing that quite often my internet was super slow. They told me that since I was on the starter pack, That my my speed was throttled whenever the Network was busy. Guess where I live that is most of the time. Still after everything was said and done, I was still paying $60 to $70 a month for less than what I was getting with Xfinity. So I said screw it. Yesterday I went to the Xfinity store and tried to move everything back. Well I knew I was going to take a hit on the device I got from AT&T. Sure enough that was a $170 that I had to payoff. Than when I tried to unlock that phone, since I now OWN it outright. I'm being told that I can't unlock it until after it has been on an active line for 60 Days. I asked the loyalty department, you mean even though it is paid in full, unless it is assign to AT&T service, it is nothing more than a paperweight and useless to me, she said that is true. Next, when I started service with them, they had no problem prorating my first month. But when you cancel service, they do not. It doesn't matter if your on the first day or the last day of the billing period, you are paying for the entire month In my option I was Robbed!!! People, if you're ever considering AT&T, I advised against it. This lesson cost me hundreds of Dollars. I will never do business with a bunch of Crooks again. For your info, with Xfinity It is as follows. Unlimited everything 1 line $45 a month 2 lines $80 a month 3 lines $100 a month 4 lines $120 a month. Horrible service. Bought a new I-phone along with accessories. The charger I bought is not working and I wanted to exchange it. I have gone in three different times and been put on a waiting list for an appointment time. I have waited in my car. This last week tried again. Waited for the text which arrived two hours later. I came into start new service. The wait time was a little long but told me that when I walked in. They asked if I wanted an appt for another day. So that's what I did. Once i came in the next day. The staff didn't have adequate technical knowledge to answer basic questions about their own service plans and promotions. The sales rep assigned to me presented a negative, unprofessional attitude, didn't understand basic customer service skills, and her demeanor made it clear I was inconveniencing her by asking questions about AT&T services. This was my second trip to this store. The first trip several years ago was a good experience. But after a decade with AT&T, this visit convinced me they are no longer the company for me. I switched to a different carrier (brand 'V'). Although the pricing is a bit more for similar features, I was left feeling like they genuinely appreciated my business, didn't cop an attitude, and knew the basic information behind their company's products. read more

Bought my girlfriend a new unlocked zte axon7 for her existing att service. After being scolded for buying a high end low priced phone they transferred her service to the new phone. When the data didn't work they offered to sell us a phone but short of that it was the phone not them that was the problem. My identical phone worked perfectly with net10 service. Moved my sim card to her phone and it worked perfectly. They were unmoved and acted very put out when asked to solve the problem. Thanks for less than nothing Mallory. Eventually took it to Kelso mall att store where we were treated as valued customers instead of an annoyance. They promptly solved the problem which was her old phone was still entered in the computer instead of her new one. I'll be writing them a 5 star review next. read more

The friendly staff at At&t are always willing to help me with anything I need. My phone was stolen and they were very helpful getting me into another phone. I currently have 5 phone lines with them and I am happy to support my local At&t family! read more

I could never recommend this location, because of this location I honestly could never recommend AT&T as a provider. I'd recommend ANY OTHER provider at this point over AT&T. Their incompetence and lack of customer service is unfathomably low here. One of my family members on our family plan went in to upgrade their phone while I was clear across the country and the rep who lacked any sort of competence changed it over to my number instead. Long story short I lost service while I was in the middle of downtown in an unfamiliar city. Jacob(a rep at this store) did his best to correct his mistake, but it was a mistake that shouldn't have been made in the first place. (The representative working with me at the branch in Nashville had indicated that there was no excuse for this example of either gross incompetence or negligence) The manager at this location displayed no sense of customer service or even the minutest indication that he actually cared about the gross inconvenience that had been caused by changing the number on the wrong phone and forcing me, while currently 2000 miles away to lose service and have to self navigate in an unfamiliar area to find an aTT store, only AFTER figuring out what had happened. The manager offered no compensation. Nothing. And to be honest avoided my family member completely. I will be moving to Verizon in the near future(save some unforeseeable event) , and would encourage ANYONE considering this farce of a store to do the same. When I indicated this to another rep at the store, I saw nothing but indifference. As if she did not care whether or not we were att customers or not. This has to be a trickle down effect from the management at the ocean beach location. I would not recommend this location to anyone ever, for as long as the current management is in place. Incompetent, inconsiderate, and no awareness of customer satisfaction. Pathetic excuse for a store that is an absolute disgrace to AT&T as a brand. Avoid this place like the plague. Avoid this company like the plague if this location is where you plan to do business. You'd be much better served at Verizon or t-mobile. Heck, you'd be better off with cricket or some lesser known 3rd party carrier at that point. The management here in a word: sucks. I don't even know the manager's name as no one would even give it to me. Customer service at its best. Ha One redeeming aspect of the store however is that if you find yourself here, the Verizon store is a very short drive away. Also there is a very nice frozen yogurt place two doors down, who at least understands customer service. The only reason I would go into this location is to ask for directions to one of these places or to cancel your current at&t account. read more

Be aware AT&T says on the web site the unlimited and more premium plan of 4 lines cost 48$ per line = 190 dollars, but this is not true, the representative JORDAN FEHRS, was a nice and helpful guy, but he told me that he was going to waive all my activation fees of 30 dollars per line, a week later just checked my bill and there was 422.51 dollars, 120$ of activation fees on my plan that was supposed to be waived because I am a union member, the plan was supposed to be 190$ but instead they charged me 210$ even me setting up auto pay, and paper less bill. So they charge me 210$+120$ (activation fees) + 92.51$ ( taxes and fees) yes you read right 92.51$ taxes and fees, I don't know if that's valid for every consumer, but it is my reality, That's just absurd, I would like them to be more clear with people, I just switch to them because I travel a lot and the Tmobile service that I had was horrible at the city I am working at, they do have good internet and good reception but that is no reason to LIE to people, just be aware, if you think you going to pay 190 plus taxes and some minimal fees just like I thought you will be surprised when you see your bill, that's just RIDICULOUS and disrespectful read more
