Hmmm it's hard to trust a business when they can't even post their hours correctly on the door!!!…read moreAre you or are you not open Monday's? It would be nice if you could figure it out and then just let your ex-customers know! Ok thanks See my pictures...

If there were a way to give ZERO stars...that is what I would do. This woman was a nightmare from…read morethe time we got there. Treated me like garbage, really short tempered, not helpful AT ALL. I went to this place because I wasn't sure where else for me and my daughter to go. I paid this terrible human $700 PER PAIR of glasses!!! Mine fell apart not even a week after I had them and she wouldn't even help me fix them. I was told, when I first went in, that if I didn't like my choice they would let me exchange them for a different pair just that one time. Which I was perfectly fine with. But when it came to me actually hating them (especially since they didn't fit me right and were falling apart!!!!) and wanting to go ahead and do that exchange...it was "past my alloted time." THEN!!! Yes, there's more!! She threw a FIT and further made me feel like a terrible human when I asked for our prescriptions!!! It took me over a month of calling and (FINALLY) going off on her just a tad...just to get some crap, half-done, hand written, Rx. And I couldn't even use it!! I had to pester for another few weeks. At this point, she brought up the kind of insurance I had. And it all made sense. People should know how judgmental and terrible this place is. I have never felt like such a piece of garbage for trying to get something my daughter and I needed. We LITERALLY can't live without these. I wish more people would speak up. Because I'm willing to bet that I'm not the only one. They should be shut down in my opinion. Don't go here.

This has got to be your go to place for eye care. I lost my…read moreglasses and with Covid going on, I was not able to get an appointment with Eye Care 4 You right away. So I made the horrible mistake of going to Three Rivers Eye Care, please see my review for them on Yelp for the whole mess. So I show up at Eye Care For You with a prescription in hand hoping that I would be able to get some glasses. They welcomed me like a family member (actually treated me better than my family does) I do have VSP insurance and they honor that just like 3 Rivers does. The major difference is they really honored it, what would have been close to $500 for me at 3 Rivers was less than $150 at Eye Care For you. At 3 rivers it seem like just about everything they offered was not compatible with the lab they deal with. They wanted me to go with the supreme progressives, because their lab didn't offer the progressive lenses my insurance covers. Guess what , the lab that Eye Care For You does. If you are looking for an Eye clinic that is looking out for you, then you search is over. I HIGHLY recommend Eye Care For you. It's worth the wait as they are busy. But why they shouldn't they be with king of service. I will add a photo of my new glasses when I get them!

The Dr has crammed an amazing array of diagnostic equipment into a itty bitty exam room. But it works. I can testify Dr. Garhofer is knowledgeable and professional. He asks about details and responds to questions, even stupid ones. Since this is one of the few corporate optometrists accepted by eye care plans, expect a long wait for an appt. Like months. I called in August to get a November appt (earliest). I only get contacts. Usually I am wary of buying my lenses thru the office, but I researched it and their prices for my lenses were actually cheaper than thru 1800CONTACTS. Do your own research regarding glasses. Billing seemed accurate. They did charge a hefty 'fit and follow up' fee, typically not covered by insurance, and they pretty much fail on the follow up part, I'm not entirely sure my recent lenses are quite right. The front office staff didnt seem interested in being friendly. They seemed eager to have me out the door and no desire for the follow up part. So, lose a star. Now I'm on Medicare Advantage, not sure if I'll be back now :(

Eye clinic that spends it's time between here on the coast and Portland. Met with Dr. Stoumbos and…read moreher clinician Nancy. First time there, so filled out the paperwork, and didn't have to wait too long at all. They share what seems to be an office area with cardiologists, so I was not only the youngest lad there, I got to meet some really cool seniors who were just funny as hell. One man was a stand up comic in his previous life and had so many jokes for me that it was like I was at a club. I do a lot of work with the senior population, so it is always an honour to get opportunities to socialize with them. The spirit of my grandmother was there expressed via the concern of these sweet ladies over the fact that I was wearing shorts on a stormy day. Nancy was awesome. Very personable. direct, and explained everything thoroughly. Gold star for understanding my obtuse humour. Great chair side manner. Dr. Stoumbos was very friendly, mild mannered, and knowledgeable. She answered all of my questions with ease. I am not the typical "just sit there" patient, so I ask about how things work and why. I am very proactive medically, as I have to be my own advocate, and don't trust many "white coats". Dr. Stoumbos was very thorough and clear. Sadly, my vision got worse (the nuns said I'd go blind--eeek), but at my age, dropping from 20/10 vision in both eyes to 20/15 is a fact of life I will accept. As long as I can be a show off on the eye charts for a few more decades, I'll be cool. (wink).
