Earlier visited corporate and was told to visit USPS. On July 24, 2025, I went to the Gulfgate AT&T store to get a new battery for my iPhone 13 Promax. Battery was losing charge quickly. Spoke with Michelle A who said they do not replace batteries but would give me a replacement phone instead. She looked up my number then offered me a new phone (iPhone 16 ProMax) as a replacement. I never asked for a new phone. She said I ONLY had to pay sales tax. Red Flag went off immediately, but I went along. I signed no new contract, I was not offered any particulars about new phone such as how much memory, price, monthly payments, etc. Only asked me about color. At no point i signed up for a new phone. Minutes later, I was out the door with new phone. Days later, received emails that I had a contract for a $1400.00 phone. It appears I was duped into getting a new contract. Lesson learned. If it's too good to be true it probably is. Now I am stuck with another 3-year contract. Shame on employee and AT&T for unscrupulous tactics. SHAME! SHAME! SHAME! read more

If I could give this store zero stars I would. They need to hire more people. Waiting 2 hours is not ok. They have 3 people and only 2 of them are helping customers. This is ridiculous. How are people suppose to go to the store for customer support if they have none. Maybe it is done on purpose. If you call AT&T they transfer you to someone that could barely speak English. Worst fucking customer service. The store manager told me I would get a $100 VISA card if I got services that day. So I did, but never got my reward card. I came to speak to him personally and he told me he'd look into it, he would call me the next Monday. I never got a call back. Came in to the store and he had switched locations and the employees here pretty much told me to fuck off and drive 40 minutes to his new location. Will not be returning here nor referring anyone here again. Wish I could give this place a zero star. read more

Rude staff, but what's new. Plus the whole mask thing here is a joke, when I walked in the staff wasn't wearing mask but once I signed in I was asked to put a mask on (vaccinated) and then they all put their mask on. The customer service doesn't matter too much here anymore. The people around here don't complain enough so it being att doesn't matter much. read more

Worst customer service EVER... Went today to buy a case, First of all you have to wait to be called, even though there was at least 2 representatives available.... Walking around. I mean, c'mon, just need to pay for a case. They called me and I told them I was gonna pay CASH.... OMG!!! Do not say that word there, they all look at you like an alien or something. Had to tell the girl i dont have a card with me, and still... She even reply in Spanish even though i was speaking English. Since she opened her register i asked her if she had change of 20 so i could pay my phone bill in the kiosk (only exact cash ) since she REFUSED to get my payment. And told me i can only pay my bill at the kiosk. I guess. I had Sprint and T-mobile before, their service sucks but never had an issue with their customer service with them. read more

When we came in, we spent over $300 for the taxes on the phones we got to start our plan. We were told our bill would be about $160 a month. Three weeks later, AT&T took $338 for my first month of service that hadn't even been provided to me yet. Nobody at this store told us our first bill would not include ANY promotions. To add insult to injury we came in a few weeks later to get AT&T TV, we paid $20 or so for the taxes, and once again NOBODY told us our bill would be set to autopay for the beginning of each month. This company took $700 from us, $300 of which were consented to. Mind you we just had an ice storm, we needed that money. We feel so cheated, especially by the first month of wireless service two weeks premature being taken both too soon and in too high of an amount! All customer service says when we call is "you'll be prorated", that doesn't help me, we feel lied to! Be clear with customers when you are signing them up for promotions!!! read more
