Service - Kindness - Patience helping "tech challenged" older customers - Just great people. I LOVE the Lenox Road NE AT&T store. I by far trust and prefer the staff and service here enough that we happily travel 2.5 hours from our North Georgia Mountains home to use it. If everything and everyone in the current AT&T company system worked as well, functioned as efficiently, and as happily and kindly made the effort to help? Internet outage for 5 days thanks to AT&T in the area. This is the 3rd time it's happened in the past 6 months (last time it was out for 4 days and I was compensated $5 lol). Their agents have trouble communicating properly and are not empathetic. DO NOT use AT&T services. Day 6 of the "fix" was underway. "Your service will be restored within 24 hours" is what I've been hearing from customer service everyday for the 6 days internet was out. I'm so glad I switched provider. I called the store prior to my visit and then arrived a couple hours later and was immediately greeted by the same associate, Mia. She was so friendly & professional. She took care of helping me set up new service with a new phone. She made sure I got the available promotions & discounts. Everything was very smooth. I also watched her interact with other customers while my iPhone transferred data. She is so full of knowledge and just compassion and kindness. She is absolutely management material. Someone promote this young woman immediately! S/N: I purchased an iPhone 14 pro max (512 gb in black) on a new line & ported a number from T-Mobile. This is cheaper than what I was paying with T-Mobile & so far the service & customer experience has been better. read more

For the product it worked well enough but the management is frustrating. I moved out of my home in August and forgot to pay a bill. I've been using the security system for 2 years and never missed a payment. And this is where the 1 star comes in because AT&T moved extremely fast to get that measly $60 payment to collections and onto my credit report at the perfect time of 3 days before closing on a home. Talked with several supervisors and there is no way for me to make the payment to have it removed. What I really disliked is I never received a phone call or email. Let's start off by saying some sh*t is just IRREPLACEABLE & I understand these people live off of commission but before u go to the next customer make sure everything is good with the one you already had I spent all day in the at&t store waiting on my phone to back up so that I could keep my stuff especially my photos which I do not have, I called apple to access them and they are just gone my kids whole first year is just erased even after waiting all day, even after paying for storage like come on why would u not double and triple check THIRSTY for the next customer man don't go here. AT&T came through for me thanks to a customer of ours who works for AT&T. The entire ETF was waived and email sent to me to notate that my account balance is zeroed out. I've decided to update my review as I felt that if I would penalyze them due to one or two crappy employees (esp in small business department), I'd might as well praise them for an excellent employee as well. Let that be a lesson/reminder to all of us.. 1 person can make a difference. Kudos guys. This review, unfortunately I do not remember the agents name, but is because of the lack of training this location has. Also no type of discretion when it comes to personal conversation amongst the employees. I went in to add a line to my family share plan. Was greeted as normal and asked what type of phone I was interested in. After informing them that I was torn between the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6+ .. She let me know that choosing an iPhone would give me a tablet for 99cents. I politely declined the tablet and went with the plus. We sit down to go over the paper work and she goes over the basics, insurance, accessories etc. proceed to sign, pay and leave. Not until I get home do I realize she gave me the tablet. I'm thinking, hey it was only 99cents right. Well a month later I go to pay my bill and it is double what my bill is normally. I then realize that the tablet is a whole separate line that is activated. I contact them to tell them that I did not want it and I'm told that I can pay $146 to cancel but if not then it will be $10 a month for two years. Smh so because the rep chose to leave out this information and just automatically sign me up with a tablet I'm stuck paying $240 thank you att smh. Came in here for a technical matter on my phone that is part of an account with thousands of devices on it, and got various hemming and hawing excuses until turning around and walking out. This is some of the worst service I have ever received. First, I reserved an appointment online to minimize wait time, however upon arriving at the store, I was put at the back of the queue. Next, when I was finally helped, I was assigned a salesman who knew absolutely nothing about AT&T's service packages and phones. Lastly, a different salesperson deactivated the wrong cell number on my account, leaving my account functionless for 3 hours. If you need help with your AT&T account, I would highly suggest doing it online or at a different store. read more

The worse customer service that I have been dealing with in the past years. I always come to this location and just the guys are usually nicer, the ladys are terrible snobs and arrogant. And today was the worse time ever , this lady Tiesha was completely rude chewing a gum and not looking at us, she said she was the manager and she was full of attitude . THE WORST customer service I've ever received. I wouldn't even call it service. I came in to have them change how I was billed for a new phone and they took over an hour and then told me to come back to next day because the department they needed to reach was closed. The employee went back and forth from the back to the front where the manager was to keep asking what to do. Upon leaving, I realized the messed up my iMessage on my iPhone and nothing was going through anymore. My phone showed 4G and not LTE. I walked into the store real quick to ask what they had done and they proceeded to tell me that there were TOO MANY PEOPLE on the network. I though AT&T was supposed to be the largest 4G LTE network. I was 5 miles from downtown and the employee tried to convince me that it would fix itself. I left in disbelief. When I got home, I found that they screwed up my account and somehow blocked all data coming to my iPhone. I had to talk to customer service and troubleshoot for ANOTHER hour to get my phone working normally again. Worst experience ever. AVOID THIS STORE AT ALL COSTS. Side Note: I overheard an employee trying to deceive a customer trying to trade in her iPhone as part of the promotional offer. They low balled her for her iPhone and then lied about when the promotion ends to try to get her to trade her phone in on the spot instead of trying to get it fixed. read more

I recently dropped my 16 GB iPhone 6 on the ground, shattering the screen. I thought, "Enough is enough! I deserve to have the newest iPhone for once and not a cracked outdated phone with limited storage." So I headed out to the Lenox Mall AT&T store where I was met with slightly aggressive, but overall pleasant customer service from their store manager Sebastian. After many failed attempts at trying to sell me an iPad, Sebastian finally started to process my iphoneX order. He made painful small talk with me as I blatantly played Words with Friends without eye contact. Finally it was time to turn on the new phone. Sebastian walked me through the set up, and then all of a sudden on my sleek new iphoneX I got a text message. Sebastian was still holding my phone and we both saw that It was an obviously long text message.... it was only a matter of seconds before Sebastian and I both realized what was happening: I was getting dumped. Sebastian sheepishly shrugged and said "whoa" and we both got quiet. He then said "sorry.. I'll try to hurry this up" and took my phone into the back, leaving me alone at the bright orange AT&T table with nothing other than my thoughts and the background noise of other employees aggressively trying to sell an iPad. Sebastian then came out 23 minutes and 13 seconds later to tell me his work iPad broke and he was sorry for the wait. I said "okay" and Sebastian tried to make more small talk with me, including an intensely excited reaction over my plans to take my dog on a walk. Sub-par customer service. I pre-ordered an IPhone through this store and was notified several days later that my order had been canceled due to he fact that they couldn't ship to my PO box. I addressed the PO Box issue twice while pre- ordering and was assured it wasn't a problem. When I returned to the store to address this, they claimed they weren't aware that they couldn't ship to a PO box when I pre-ordered and that my options were to wait in line or reorder with a substantial delay. I contacted another store and they were more than happy to reserve a phone for me after paying a deposit and guaranteed me that my phone would be available whenever I wished to pick it up. This is the second negative experience I've had at this store. read more

My wife and I came in to buy the new iPhone last week, and received great customer service. We wanted to trade in her iPhone 4 under the promotion for $200, so we were told to bring the phone in next week after the iPhone 6 had arrived in the mail, and we would receive payment. When we came in to turn in the old phone, there was some confusion since the promotional period had ended, but the team there worked hard to confirm our story and work around the issue. Literally the worst service experience I have ever had in a retail setting by EBONY. I tried to update my iphone from a 5s to a 6s at the Apple Store, and was told that you can only upgrade using the NEXT program, not a 2 year plan, in stores. Of course, even after being an AT&T customer for 10+ years, this was news to me, as AT&T hadn't informed me of this new policy. I had called both the AT&T store and the Apple Store, and was told I would be able to upgrade to another 2 year plan in stores. Anyway, I went to this AT&T store to inquire further about upgrade policies and unfortunately approached Ebony for help. She was rude, unhelpful, and would not explain to me why I could no longer upgrade in store or why I was never informed of this new policy. Her reasoning was that T-Mobile, Verizon and all companies were moving toward no-contract deals. I then responded to her and was cut off, and she said "Have a nice day" while I was speaking to her. So rude. Do not recommend this store for customer service or specifically Ebony. She is a horrendous service provider. read more

This is a horrible location that is managed by a very unprofessional and inexperienced staff. Two boys I had the displeasure of engaging with, B*****n and X****r, have a tough time functioning in an adult environment. These children are allowed to play without adult supervision. These insecure boys made my time excruciating. Their low emotional capacity had me engaged in a nonsense conversation about respect and how I should hand them my phone all the while threatening not to service me. I hope these boys get some training on emotional intelligence and stop behaving like at risk youth having their first job. Clearly they are not equipped to function outside of their low end mentality to service customers who demand better. AT&T is damaging their brand by allowing these boys access to the job without a job coach. They need to do better. At the moment all I see are these two boys hustling phones for a living. AT&T please upgrade these two low end workers and upgrade them to the level they should be representing your brand. Currently they are sad and pathetic as is. read more

The representative had the personality of a snail. Was not helpful at all. The store was almost empty and still couldn't get any help. Purchased iPhone 7 plus got home and realized they iPhone SIM card was deactivated but the phone was returned and repackaged. Went back to store and was told it would be 45 minutes to get the SIM card that was missing from the day before. Terrible service. read more

I wish I had read these reviews before I went. I was excited to purchase a new iPhone. I could have gone to the Apple Store but decided to go to ATT due to crowds at the Apple store and I wanted to change my wireless plan. That turned out to be the wrong decision. The representative was actually very nice and hospitable, and happy to sell me a phone, but when there was difficulty transferring my data from my old iPhone, she told me it was their internet and to go home and try. I tried at home, unsuccessfully, and got on the phone with Apple and it turns out they (ATT) had disconnected my service before I had a chance to move data, even though the rep knew it had not been completed when I left the store. I went back to the store and she made several changes to my phone to try to get it to work. When she finished, it would no longer even boot up! She told me there was something wrong with my phone, but knew, as I did, that she created the problem with all the changes she had made. She suggested I just program my new iPhone as a 'new phone' , lose all of my data, and try to recreate it all at another date...what? I went from there to the Apple Store where it took them nearly 2 hours to undo what she had done to my phone and restore it so that i could transfer my data to my new phone. Lesson learned. Never again will I go there....it's straight to Apple for me for anything I need with my iPhone. read more

IN my Opinion, only those who do not care how much their service will cost or how bad the service will be should go to ATT. When the agent told me " I can give you a tablet for $10 and you would only have to pay for data usage (wifi would be free)" I thought I don't want a tablet, but for $10 how could I go wrong? When I get my bill, it is now $10 a month for 24 months. I go to cancel and sure, I would only have to pay the Cancellation fee... or in essence the total of the contract immediately. WELL, ATT, I have this to say, I will never be a ATT customer again. I finish my contract .. and ATT.... KMA!!! read more

FRAUD! I had been getting data overage alerts & my tablet was no longer connecting to the At&t network, only working on wifi. Checked my account & the data was all coming from the line associated with my tablet - how could this be when my tablet hasn't been working to connect to at&t? Called At&t and after about 2 hours on the phone, we discovered that someone had hijacked my account, reassigned my number to a new sim card & device, and was running up tons of data usage! This was all done by someone at this store, that I have NEVER BEEN TO! An associate at the store had changed my account with inaccurate ID information! A second associate entered another inquiry into my account just a week later! This store is perpetrating a crime allowing people to steal accounts of others!! At&t has worked this out for me & is refunding the data overage charges - but, check your bills folks! Who knows if you will be their next victim! read more

I would give this store a zero if it was at all possible. Every time I go to this store I am cheated and lied to in some way. I have been overcharged, signed up for things I haven't asked for, and treated to condescending attitudes. A perfect example: one year (12 months) after I got a phone there and ended up on a Next plan that I didn't ask for, I went in to change it because the phone wouldn't hold a charge. I was told that I would have to wait, I was not yet eligible for an upgrade. However, in a six months I could get any phone I wanted. Now understand, if I was on the Next 12, (upgrade in 12 months, it means I was paying the highest possible monthly cost for my phone) Skip forward another 6 months and I went in to get my upgrade, the salesperson tries to charge me the highest possible rate for the phone I want, I say no. He says, but you have Next 12 now. Which means either someone changed my account or the last salesperson flat out lied to me when I came in to ask for an upgrade in December and I have been paying 18 months for a 12 month phone. Was the store at all concerned I had been cheated? Of course not. DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE. This is just one example out of multiple can give you. read more
