We went to this store to see what AT&T could offer us on cellular service because we were tired of being ripped off by our current provider. And employee, (who's name starts with A and ends in I), told us our current phones would get us a $1,000 trade in credit which would cover the cost of our new phones. We weren't really looking for new phones, but if that was the deal, why not? He said if we waited a few months, the values would drop and we wouldn't get as much for them, so it was better to do it sooner rather than later. According to "A", we'd have "brand new phones at no cost and our monthly bill would go down." So a few days later we went to the store to get everything in motion. We made sure we dealt with A since he was the one who gave us all the information and knew what we needed. As we start to get into the deal, suddenly we owe a $1,200 deposit for the 3 phones. How does a $1,200 deposit equal a "free" phone? At first we're told it was because of our credit, which he didn't take any of the necessary information to run a credit check with. And we have excellent credit scores, so that's not the case. He says we'll get our deposit on the phones back through a "credit" on our bill of $11.11 a month per phone over the span of the 3 year contract, which makes our phones "free". But they're not "free" if we pay $1,200 up front. This is where another employee (who claimed to be the manager) joined in the conversation, uninvited by the way. He stated "free" is just the word they use to get customers to agree to the deal "because people will jump on that" and that the phones are never really free and all providers do the same thing. His exact words were "It's the same game, just different players." While this was the deal we got from Verizon several years ago, it was disclosed up front. This was not the case at AT&T. And the manager refused to admit this was a deliberately misleading sales tactic and tried to argue with us like we had never done this before. We asked "A" how come he didn't disclose this and he said "You didn't ask." We went off the information he gave us, we trusted he was being forthcoming. He wasn't. He then told us "I'm not helping you anymore because I'm leaving this company anyway." The final straw was when the manager said "Y'all can just dip." The level of dishonesty and unprofessionalism by the employees at this store is absolutely absurd. They deliberately lie to you then say that it's not a dishonest practice because "everybody does it". Nobody does it as deceitfully as these guys do. The alleged manager at this store is unprofessional, deceptive, and disrespectful to customers. He continually talked over us, raising his voice several times. Stay away from this store unless you like getting lied to, ripped off and treated like garbage. AT&T needs to clean house at this store because they'll continue to lose business from these practices. Stay far far away!!! I'm not kidding!!! F*** you ATT your company is nothing but a f***ing money hungry tw@t waffle! Paid my bill on time for 8+years with no complaints! This is the last time you guys screw me over! Too many hidden fees to count! I had 3 lines. Knocked it down to 2 line (so I thought) and put the 3rd line on hold/suspension so I didn't have to pay for the services on the 3rd line. No come to find out even if you put a line on hold/suspension you still have to pay for services you're not/can't use with it being on hold. I called up ATT to ask if 3rd phone is all paid up. They told me yes and I was like good take that one off my plan then because I don't need it. Next billing cycle My $265 phone bill for 2 phone lines (actually 3 since I was still paying for their services i didn't/can't use) shot up to $600!!!!!!!!! What the actual f*** ATT Me "one of ATT workers last month told me I was all paid up on that phone. Is there any way we can do a charge of $100 a month till it's paid off because i cant afford a $600 bill" Them "Mama there's nothing I can do. You have 2 options. We reinstate the phone to which youll have to pay the monthly balance of the phone and the phone services or you pay your bill" Me "phone services? I had that phone service on hold/suspened. What do you mean pay for services?" Them "even though you put the phone on hold/suspened you still have to pay for it's services" Me "but me putting a hold/suspened on that phone makes it's so it can't be used so why would I be charged for it?" Them "mama even though the phone can't be used you still have to pay for the services" Me "what service if the phone cant be used?!?! You cant charge me for a service i cant use!!!" Them "mama it doesn't matter per ATT" Stay far far away from this money hungry company that will bleed you dry!!!!! Came here to get a replacement screen protector put on a phone no longer being produced. Was told that it has to be a product purchased from AT&T in order for them to apply it. I have been to many stores for this and this is the first time I have ever heard of this policy. Any other store would have replaced my screen protector with no questions asked, here they rudely demanded that I leave instead. Lost my business for good. read more

This location is a joke. Save your time and call 611 while people work in a retail location and collect paychecks while doing nothing. We came to the store hoping to fix MULTIPLE issues with our account. That did not happen, in fact they couldn't help anyone who was in the store today. The couple in front of us left with the instruction to call 611. The take away from our visit to the store was wait for it.... "Call 611". In all fairness I understand limitations within job titles however I give no pass, no understanding and no compassion to Makayla (who apparently has no last name to provide me with an initial because I still plan to ...Call 611 and mention her by name). "She" was rude and unprofessional. While a line with 3 separate customers waiting and the only other employee helped people she was very content to stand in the corner behind a sign and play with phone cords and interject occasionally "Call 611". Seeing the line that waited she continued to play with phone cords because those cords have more things to get done than the 5 adults waiting in line. After waiting for turn to speak and ask questions she was very quick to tell me I was causing a scene...I'm guessing because I didn't happily leave with my multiple issues unaddressed. FYI causing a scene in the store is when you ask "Why does ATT allow individuals to wear the logo, sell phones on your behave?" (Because apparently I am to blame for billing issues and taking a deal from someone wearing the logo in a retail setting). The only employee in the store who was dealing with customers was a younger man (who doesn't deserve to be blasted). He had apparently no way of fixing problems for customers because of title limitations I'm sure but he was calm and professional looking things over. read more

It's truly hard to believe how incompetent this entire store is. Over a week ago I stopped in to get a new screen protector on my phone. I had paid $40 for unlimited screen protector replacements. The manager said they didn't have one but was unwilling to track one down. Apparently my phone was "too old." I asked why are they selling plans for unlimited screen protectors if they're not going to honor the contract? Coincidentally, the district manager was there. They both assured me that a $40 refund would be coming. It's now a week later and there is absolutely nothing on my bill showing the refund. I spoke to one of the workers today and he said he would call the district manager and call me back. I just called the store because it's about to close and that worker left for the night. So apparently the workers, the manager, and the district manager have no capability of honoring their contracts or their word. I recommend avoiding this branch at all costs. I am now an AT&T customer, and want nothing to do with this company so I have to figure out how to get out of the contract I'm in because this was the worst decision I've ever made, switching to AT&T. What a joke - they tell you buy a phone and get one free = SCAM. If it comes out of their mouth, don't believe it, it's a scam. If they tell you your bill will be X amount - add $50 because they don't factor in taxes and fees. Fees - what does that include? Don't know. They must not pay the customer service people much because they are 0 help either. You want to rectify an issue, good luck to you. Hope you have an hour + to sit on the phone and them tell you basically yeah, you got screwed over and lied to by our salespeople but we'll submit a claim to have that employee "talked to". Great, they made extra phone sales, of course AT&T doesn't care. BUY ONE GET ONE FREE DOES NOT EXIST PEOPLE, DONT BELIEVE IT. And if the sales person tells you he can sell fish water, you met the guy I worked with because that's exactly what he said to me and my family. Everyone in this location is really nice and really helpful! Every time I've ever had a problem I have just brought my phone there and it is fixed in a heartbeat. I have always gotten great help and they always give me all the information that I need and more. I wouldn't go anywhere else for my phone needs. At times I feel a little bad for the employees there when I see them working with a difficult customer, but they always handle it with professionalism and a kind heart. I was hoping to get the Galaxy Note20 Ultra 5G 512 GB. I spoke with the manger and him what I wanted. He assured me that this phone was available but he would have to order it. He stated that it only takes about two days to get it. That made me very happy because it seemed to be impossible to get the 512 GB. Every place I looked including the AT&T store. Only had 128 GB. So I did an application for the installment plan. I notice the young man was imputing a like of information but he was not asking me any questions. I had previously completed an application online. I didn't understand why all this information was not accessible and the need to start all over again? The man was new in this position and had to consult with the manger on a occasions. This lead to long gaps of time waiting for him to get answers. At the end of application the rep as the mgr why he was unable to order it turns out the 512 MB was discontinued. The mgr (who had told me just minutes ago) the he could order the 512MB, now states its available in 128 GB. I believe he knew this. I believe that his plan was to have me complete the application and sell me on the newest phone. Which is "superior to the note". Since I had did the application on, I remembered there were options for $5 to upgrade to the newest phone? He just took upon himself to sign me up for all this add-ons and causing me to pay more money without my consent. I had been there another time. all of the other reps were busy with other customers. No one ever acknowelged me. I saw this happen to at lease two other customers. While I was being waiting on. This is very poor customer service. They should momentitary excuse themselves and offer the waiting customer a seat and (perhaps a bottle of water). It is just rude to ignore a customer. read more

Brought me out a phone that was cracked, refused to find another location with one, told me to go to Target or Best Buy. I switched 3 of my lines to from t-mobile to AT&T - and purchased IPhone 5's at an AT&T mall store near this location. When one of the phones had an issue my wife brought it to the Apple Valley store for service. They looked up my account and noticed it wasn't their store that the phones were purchased at. Its an AT&T contract, and an AT&T IPhone 5. THEY WOULDN'T HELP HER. They were extremely nice walking into the store though, but when they realized they weren't the ones that got the commission on the sale - the service stopped there. They told her she'll have to go to the store where it was purchased from to get help with the phone. Unbelievable. Bottom line - if you didn't set up your lines or purchase your hardware from this store - if they didn't get the commission on the sale - your not getting service from them. read more

Decided to go to AT&T/DirecTV deal, so we went to this location. Mike F "helped" us out by explaining that he was taking care of everything and there wasn't anything that we needed to do as far as paying off our other carrier's phone bill and setting everything up for the new service. He told us we should be getting our promotional gift cards in about 2-3 weeks. BUT he did not explain to us that we had to do this whole process to get the gift cards ourselves. I went in 2 weeks later to get a status check on the gift cards, and he told us we needed to go to the website and fill out this whole process in order to get the gift cards. Again, he said 2 weeks to get the gift cards. Received a final notice through our previous carrier and there was no way we were going to get our gift cards to pay off the bill. SO, I went in AGAIN 3 weeks later and another associate was giving me excuses as to why it might be taking so long. I requested to talk to the manager twice, and I finally explained to him what's been happening. He said he would escalate the situation and to give him a call 3 days later. I called and he just told me everything was pending. I already knew that, I checked online myself! He never escalated the issue in the first place! These people are truly pathetic and completely lazy. Will cancel AT&T once our contract is up. Horrible customer service!! read more

Want horrible advice and terrible customer service? This is the store for you! I purchased my samsung galaxy s5 from this store, after placing a case and screen protector on it immediately the side button had fallen out within a couple months. I believe it was a manufacture issue as I had never dropped/damaged my phone. I took it in to see if they could do anything, after inspecting my phone and confirming there has been no damage done, the associate told me to put some super glue in there and put the button back in. So that is what I did, obviously the button got stuck and completely ruined the button all together. Now I admit I shouldn't have taken the horrible advice but I trusted the associate and assumed they knew what they were doing. I called to get some help with the issue and the manager was short and rude. He explained to me that I could drive all the way to Coon Rapids to see IF they'd warranty it or I could pay $200 deductible to get a new one. I explained to him that I don't feel like I should pay for his associates poor advice, so he was willing to pay half. Which would leave me paying $100 for terrible advice that ruined my phone. Unhappy with the advice, help, and customer service. I would not suggest going here and will never be back to this store read more
