Would give negative 5 if I could. Worst customer service and website ever. Tried 10-12 times to get help without resolution.

The job turned out to be more complicated having to go through a stud and across rafters. He did an expert job with the hole repair patching and painting that I cannot tell where he opened the holes to pull the cable. Jay has fixed our exterior doors that weren't contacting our weather stripping and sealing properly, as well as adjusting and (where necessary) replacing the interior doors that were poorly hung by the previous owner. He fixed our custom-built pantry shelves, in addition to adding another shelf, replaced baseboards, fixed an accent wall, added shelving to our laundry room, and installed overhead garage storage for us. The best thing about working with Jay, was that he had good input for us in helping to figure out what we wanted to do with our laundry room and to fix the broken design on our accent wall. When he was trying to figure out where to hang our clothes rack in the laundry room, he had the foresight to measure my arms to get a good sense of where to hang the rack since my wife wasn't around to say exactly how high she wanted it installed. Jay is super nice, reliable, and JSC's prices are reasonable. I highly recommend them for any handyman services you might need around the house.

In that time about every four to six months I have to request a new mobile device because the current device is faulty. With only one month left on my contract I have had a horrible experience. DO NOT GO WITH CLEAR After speaking with two tech support reps who didn't have a clue I had no other course of action then to close my account. After holding for thirty minutes to close my account and not getting an answerI gave up and said I would use the chat link on their site the next day. Needless to say when I used the chat (service, if it can be called that) I was told to call the same number I called the night before to no avail. If you're looking for great or even good customer service, go elsewhere.

I opted for the $50 mobile unlimited plan. The sales person with whom I dealt didn't seem very knowledgeable about the product, service, or the fine print. Several times he deferred to his co-worker when I asked questions, while other times he was very vague or gave an answer that didn't match what he had just told me. Prior to visiting the store, I called Customer Service several times to ask questions and found them to be high-pressure and not very knowledgeable. I sense a theme here, it seems like Clear hasn't trained their employees thoroughly. After about 20 minutes of back-and-forth and medium-level pressure from the sales guy, I left with my gear, excited to get home and give the service a try. At home, I popped the USB modem into my laptop and ran the start up software from the CD provided. Since then, I have been thrilled! The service has been fast and has not gone out, even for a second. I am now streaming movies and downloading files left and right at amazing speeds. I previously had Comcast and had become quite annoyed by random service outages, sometimes followed by days waiting for service to be restored and no explanation for the outage. Yes, Clear is more expensive than Comcast, but it is also must more reliable and I couldn't be happier. And I'm not tied down to a cord and don't have to deal with a wireless router. Once I got past the sales reps and got my service up and running, I couldn't have been happier. What an improvement over unreliable Comcast!

They also have data centers in Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Hong Kong, Singapore, Sydney, and Japan. They offer cloud and colocation services. We have a client that rented a half-rack in their Oakland Data Center (OAK001) and we've been fairly happy with them over the last couple years. Our uptime has been more than 99.99%, with planned outages for things like infrastructure upgrades communicated well in advance, and scheduled for the middle of the night. Physical security and environmental monitoring are what we would expect from an enterprise level vendor. Support can be reached at noc@inap.com, or 1-877-THE-INOC. INAP support is responsive, friendly, and generally helpful. On one occasion they failed to identify the crux of our request and address it directly (we asked for the gateway address and got a lot of other IP info but not what we asked for--it ended up taking 30 minutes on the phone to get it figured out). The support rep was quick to apologize and provide us with a support escalation chart. (The chart made me wonder if they intentionally hire people that can't be googled: Dan Rose, Jeff Bass, and Tim Smith. Well played gentlemen.) We have also found that support can get confused with tickets that aren't super simple. For example, we once opened a ticket requesting to remove one person from the COLO authorized access list, and to add two more people to the list. They got the first part but missed the rest and marked the ticket as complete. This prevented our techs from being admitted when we showed up to install some hardware, and our project got delayed. When we asked what happened, INAP support explained that they're accustomed to only getting single requests on tickets, so now we open a unique ticket for each change request.
