I signed up for the 30-day trial at Full Body Yoga and initially thought I had found a great…read morefit--convenient location, good class times, and a couple solid classes to start. Then I took the yin/restorative class. It was 44 degrees outside, and the studio had the AC running. The room stayed cold the entire 75-minute class. A student asked about turning up the heat and ultimately left early because of it. Multiple people used blankets just to stay warm. The instructor even acknowledged the temperature and suggested we use blankets to cover up--yet the AC continued running and nothing was adjusted. Restorative yoga is supposed to be relaxing and intentional. This felt like the opposite. If the goal was a cold yoga experience, it might be worth making that clear upfront.

I wanted to wait to write this review until I'd taken both a yoga and a workout class. Now that…read moreI've officially completed both (my burning quads can confirm), I can definitely recommend checking out this cute studio! The yoga class (VIN to YIN) I took earlier this week was with Marta - she was kind and helpful - offering several modifications for some of the harder movements throughout the practice. The class itself was mostly moms with a few men mixed in ... which can be a rarity sometimes in the yoga world. I left her class feeling relaxed and recharged. The workout class I took this morning (Full Body Fit) was with Andrea. She is exactly the kind of person you want leading your pilates/barre workout - lots of excited energy. This is a great way to start your morning ... 45 minutes of hard work, then you're already done with your workout for the day! I do feel this studio is lacking some class variety. I understand it may be difficult to fill classes coming out of the pandemic - but if you're looking to take an early morning class or even break up your workday with some yoga, you won't find those options here. I also wish there was a phone number listed somewhere so you could call with questions - the app and the website have very detailed information, but if you ever needed to call for any reason, there's no way to do that without getting your instructor's direct number. That said -- I do love that you can book classes directly through the app. They have a generous cancellation policy of three hours. If you don't have a mat to call your own, they have several ready for you to use.

Toxic, Predatory, and Downright Embarrassing -- Stay Away…read more Hotworx Jeffersonville is an absolute disaster. The second you walk in, it's clear this place cares about one thing and one thing only: money. The staff are pushy salespeople in gym clothes. Once they've locked you into a membership, the smiles vanish, and you're treated like an inconvenience. Customer service? Nonexistent. The treatment of employees is even worse. One of the best staff members they had--professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring--was tossed aside without explanation. Her name was Jazmyn, and she was the only reason I stuck around as long as I did. Apparently, being competent and dedicated is a liability in this toxic, high-school-clique environment. The owners prefer sycophants over actual talent. Speaking of the owners: they're ghosts who micromanage from a distance, totally clueless about what goes on day to day. They tolerate inappropriate staff-client relationships, yet punish the people who actually take the job seriously. Add in their outrageous fees, refusal to accommodate medical freezes, and zero transparency, and you've got a business model built on exploitation. And now, just to prove the point, they keep deleting my reviews. Let me be crystal clear: I will keep posting this everywhere--Google, Reddit, social media, anywhere I can--because people deserve to know the truth. Stop silencing honest feedback the same way you mismanage your business. Six months of this circus was more than enough. I get better workouts for free on YouTube and better respect from a Walmart cashier. Hotworx Jeffersonville is overpriced, unprofessional, and rotten from the top down. Save your money and your sanity--go anywhere else.

First of all let me say that I am a 75 year old senior citizen who was a novice to yoga when my…read moredaughter Becki gave me a gift subscription to Innerspring ..When I walked in clutching my brand new yoga mat I was met with a circle of smiling faces and welcomed. The Yoga instructors are totally different, each has her own rhythms and cadences as she gently but firmly guides you through a session. The studio itself is comfortable and comforting. The atmosphere is calm although the yoga challenges each practitioner to the fullest extent of her ( or his) capabilities. These are obviously experienced and impeccably trained teachers who skillfully push each student to explore her ability and focus. Despite my age and obvious inexperience I have never left a yoga class with any pain or discomfort, and yet I feel myself strengthening and becoming more flexible. as I leave each session I drive away already looking forward to my next class. The props such as mats, bolsters, blocks etc. are clean, fresh and easily accessible. I strongly recommend these two studios ( New Albany and Jeffersonville) in every way and hope to see you there..
