On December 11, I was told the permit could not be approved, which meant the job could not move forward. I immediately requested a refund, but my money has not been returned and communication stopped. For transparency: public Miami-Dade court records list multiple criminal cases from 2018-2019 under this individual's name and name variations with the same date of birth, including theft-related charges. These records are publicly searchable and I am not claiming they are related to my experience.

I texted a reminder to Cxxxxs the week before the installation. Then, I called and spoke to Cxxxxs a day before the installation to confirm the date and time again. On the day of installation, the awning installer did not show up at the appointed time. Cxxxxs did not even bother to call and let me know of a problem. When I called him, Cxxxxs stated his crew had another job and would arrive later. In other words, I wasted my morning waiting. Again, I called Cxxxxs when the team did not show in a few hours. Cxxxxs said that he would have to reschedule the installation for the next week. Of course, I was frustrated and angry. So, I fired Cxxxxs and Specialty Awning. Surprise: twenty minutes later, Cxxxxs informed me that his team was on its way. When the team arrived, they were courteous and did a good job. The work was satisfactory.
