Griffiths did a great job repainting our fence. Looks new. You will like their competitive pricing. We have 120' of aluminum fence that they originally installed 6 years ago. The fence was meticulously pressure cleaned, lime removed, sanded where needed. The work was clean, no paint on the house because of good prep work. Terrible service and follow up. Sold us a gate motor that was damaged by water three weeks later because they didn't think to elevate it . The gate wouldn't open manually either because the emergency key provided never worked because it was not the right key! Requested a new motor and gate clickers in November and still waiting despite frequent calls. Will not recommend whatsoever. Just terrible. Ozzie promised to call back with new appointments and never did. Here we are 2 months later. Go elsewhere read more

Terrible experience. Contract signed in July, paid $13,000 in full, and now it's January and there's no fence. 3 months went by and we didn't hear anything at all. They then told us the city wouldn't allow the fence height we had originally planned and suggested a ridiculous 2.5' high alternative. We told them we would rather just cancel since they can't get the permit to go through. Then crickets... Still trying to get our money back. Calls not answered, text replies "I'll call you later". DO NOT DO IT! Once they have your money (deposit ) Good luck with getting them to even start the job . They send workers out once a month and only after making many phone calls into an answering machine because they never pick up the phone or return your calls . Never again ! read more

Ozzie has been in this fence business since the 1960s when he started under Bob Griffiths. Unlike many so-called local fence contractors, he actually has a fencing license. Others may present themselves as licenced fence contractors when they only have a license for something else, like ornamental, which is for metal fabrication, not fencing. I learned this the hard way. He also knows all the local building department people, which helps. The only problem is that Ozzie is basically semi-retired now and has limited staff. Unfortunately with my contract he had a guy out with a minor injury so the installation was delayed a few weeks. My perimeter fence is a pool barrier so passing final inspection was essential. He installed strong springs I bought for my two heavy solid metal gates at no charge that have spring hinges that no longer close the gates automatically as required by code. Finally, his price was half that of THD Fence and a few others. THD wanted 100% up front and estimated eight weeks to get to the installation, after permit approval, ridiculous! read more
