The owners of this place were greatly accommodating and wonderful with my demands when I needed a room change. Room was clean and had a cute elephant tied towels. Basic accommodations for shampoo, lotion, and bar soap included but again it's a low priced hotel so it's not going to have brand name fancy soaps. This isn't hilton prices. I would 100% come back here again. Oh and no elevator so if you are handicapped, you can't get the upstairs rooms.

I was greeted with all smiles by a very friendly and accommodating staff. Maria was very helpful, making sure I got everything I needed. On my first stay I was unhappy with the room, it was so hot and the AC unit just wasn't doing it for me. The room wasn't cooling down until about 2AM which made my nights rough working in the heat all day then coming in to a hot hotel room. The second stay was a complete 180! The room was far more spacious and the AC until did what it was supposed to do. The gym was nice and clean The room was quiet and very clean. Checking in and out went smoothly and had no problem whatsoever. Plenty of good eats in the area. If I'm in the area I look forward to booking another stay with this hotel.

Very Disappointing Experience at Hampton Inn Barstow I…read morerarely write a review like this, but our experience at the Hampton Inn in Barstow has been extremely disappointing. Our Night Guardians animal rescue team is temporarily staying here because our sanctuary was flooded and repairs will take several days. We have stayed at Hampton Inn locations in Santa Clarita and Arcadia during rescue missions and events and have generally been treated with courtesy and respect. Unfortunately, our experience here has been very different. During our stay, the elevator was not working. Walking the stairs was not a major issue for our team, but we saw senior guests struggling. One older gentleman with a suitcase was having difficulty using the stairs, and that was upsetting to see. A hotel should have a clear plan for assisting guests when an elevator is unavailable, particularly elderly guests and people with mobility limitations. We also experienced coffee being served cold or only lukewarm, and, most importantly, customer service that did not make us feel welcomed or properly cared for when concerns were raised. We don't expect special treatment because we are Night Guardians. We expect the same basic courtesy, assistance, and hospitality that every paying guest deserves. We know Hampton Inn can do much better because we have experienced much better service at other Hampton Inn locations. I sincerely hope management addresses these issues, especially how guests who cannot easily use the stairs are assisted when an elevator is out of service. Hospitality is not just providing a room. (A few upholstered chairs needed cleaning or recovered but that was the only poor thing I noticed) The lady that checked me in lacked hospitality but the gentleman next to her made up for it. First H.I. that had a sign posted on the desk in the room on what to do in case of an emergency. The tv remote control in the room looked like it had dried food on it. Some of the wall paper was peeling off and the bathroom showed its age. The air conditioner and the refrigerator were both off which took time to turn on and cool down properly. No microwave in this room which was aggrivating. Glad they were sold out and busy. Keeping folks employed! I'm grateful to see that.

We stumbled upon this charming little Mexican restaurant tucked inside a La Quinta hotel, which is probably not where we expected to find such a delicious and authentic meal! We stopped in for Sunday brunch and were so glad we did. The staff was friendly and welcoming, everything was clean, and the food was the real star of the show. We had chile verde, pozole, and homemade tortillas--and those tortillas were SO good! Everything tasted fresh, authentic, and homemade. They also had an omelette bar, plus some very tempting churros and donuts for those who believe breakfast should end with dessert. (We do.) Honestly, this was such a fun little find in an unexpected place. If you're road-tripping through Barstow, this is absolutely a place to put on your list. Whether you're heading between LA and Vegas or just passing through, it's worth making the stop. Terrible Management, Poor Service -- Think Twice Before Booking Here…read more I had an incredibly disappointing experience at this hotel, which is connected to the restaurant Los Domingos. I went to order food at the restaurant and was not served what I ordered. I was told the issue would be resolved, but instead, I was met with a string of lies and unprofessionalism. A woman named Jessica told me she was the manager, only for me to find out later that she's not a manager at all. Then someone named Matt, who claimed to be the actual manager, told me that "accidents happen" and dismissed my concerns without offering any real solution. I called the hotel itself to raise my concerns -- and things got even worse. I was informed that there are no managers on site. The supposed manager was "out of town" until Monday... but today is Wednesday, and now they're telling me he won't be back for another seven days. So the hotel is basically running with no leadership or accountability. Neither the restaurant nor the hotel management teams are capable of handling issues. If you ever have a problem here, there is no one in charge to talk to, and you'll be left frustrated and ignored. To top it all off: * The food at the restaurant is extremely salty and low quality. * The facilities are dirty, outdated, and poorly maintained. Save yourself the stress and disappointment. This place is a mess from top to bottom, and if anything goes wrong during your stay, don't expect anyone to care enough to fix it.

With a small kitchen type counter with a sink where the coffee maker was. Large bathroom with shampoo, soap and conditioner. Free breakfast starts at 6am. There is a small "store" by the front desk for snacks. The room are not very sound proof, we could hear I15 noise, along with the room above us walking around. Other than that, the beds are comfy, the staff is great... a good Best Western while traveling.

You can also hear the freeway, even though we've stayed in many BW, they're quieter than this. We did got 2 bottled water. The bacon in the dining room was thin, and it's the best I've had. I went back for seconds. They have cut mini waffles. I love those too. Have you tried yogurt on your waffles? Yum!
