When I first walked in, the woman at the front desk rolled her eyes, was cold, and spoke to me in a condescending and dismissive tone. I went back out to my car to get the information she needed, thinking perhaps I had simply caught her at a bad moment. When I returned, I was met with the same cold, dismissive attitude while she took my contact information. I was already dealing with a stressful car situation, and instead of feeling welcomed or helped, I was made to feel as though I was bothering her simply by coming in for a service their business provides. At that point, I finally said, "That's okay, I'll go somewhere else," and left. I can't comment on the quality of their mechanical work because I never gave them the opportunity to work on my vehicle. What I can comment on is how I was treated as a potential customer. Customer service matters. People walking into an auto repair shop may already be stressed, worried about whether their car is safe, and concerned about how much everything is going to cost. There is absolutely no reason to greet a customer with eye-rolling and a condescending attitude--especially someone who is simply asking for help and trying to understand the process. I came in prepared to give a local business my money. Instead, their customer service sent me directly out the door. There are plenty of other repair shops in the area where customers can be treated with basic courtesy and respect. That's where I'll be taking my business.

All that is nice but the thing that really impressed me is their customer service. I had a flat tire on Wednesday afternoon. AAA changed the tire for me and put on the donut spare but I still had to get the original tire repaired. I drove into Nice Car Care's shop at 5:15 PM thinking if I'm lucky I could drop off the damaged tire and pick it up in a day or so. Instead, Jim asked if I wanted to wait. He repaired the flat, pulled the Outback onto a lift, and put the repaired tire on all within 15 minutes at the end of the day probably after closing time. So I went to the jiffy lube in Franklin ma. Very small place can only do two cars at a time which is fine it wasn't busy. I waited about ten minutes and then went inside I was yelled at by the gm Jonathan and who told me to move faster into the bay. Telling me to "hurry up let's go" I kept my cool at that point. Jonathan asked me for my info address and email I gave him the email and he got it wrong I kept telling him it was wrong and he said "dont worry about I know how to spell " so I let it go. I popped the hood and Jonathan pulled the dip stick out, he got a phone call on his cell phone and threw the dip stick in the engine compartment getting oil all over the inside of the engine compartment. Another associate came and cleaned most of it up. Then it was time to pay he comes to me and tells me "that will be 91.69 " I said what? What did you guys do change the oil that's it? You didn't check the lights check the air in the tires nothing. And your telling me it's 91.69. He said yes! I can not believe I paid 92 dollars for an oil change. On a 2012 honda civic .
