It was raining, getting dark and every shop was closing. Searching for any help I could get I found Boomer on google and said he was able to help. He got to us faster than AAA could get us a tow truck. Boomer came right away and was very knowledgeable and kind. He worked tirelessly in the rain late at night changing the alternator on my car and had us back and running in no time so we didn't have to spend the night. Thank you Boomer you are a life saver!

Having towed the car to Ralph's on a Sunday night, met the staff the next morning (Monday) upon opening. They were more than accommodating in diagnosing/repairing our vehicle, prioritizing our vehicle repair since we were from out of town and needed to get back home. Without question, they are certainly a 5-start operation.

We kept getting updates saying they would be there in 5 minutes, then 3 minutes, then 4 minutes, then 5 minutes again. Our car was dead in below freezing weather. I'm convinced now that this company is a scam. After an hour and a half, still nobody had showed up. We finally got through to our insurance who got us a different company, this one was another 90 minutes out. We lost feeling in our fingers and toes. With the last of our phone battery, we had a friend pick us up and take us home. Who knows if we'll ever see that car again. Don't bother calling these people. "Open 24 hours" is bs. The phone rings and rings until you hear a beep, then it drops your call. Every single time. You guys are crooks. Genuinely, who raised you? In this kind of weather with kids in the car, who knows what could have happened. Shame on you.

This is NOT the same Don's Body Shop anymore. They replaced a front bumper and did not know how to…read morematch the paint. They said because the bumper is plastic and the car is metal, the colors will not match. They said that they used the original color that was originally used on the car. They also said that the car had been repaired before. Excuse after excuse for not doing it right. The colors did not match. Even the insurance adjuster said the colors did not match. After I pressed the issue and told them it was not acceptable as is. They agreed to repaint the bumper. Now the bumper matches the car. However, they would not pay for a rental car for the extra four days it took to make the bumper right. The receptionist is very friendly. However, Greg should not be in the customer service business. He would not admit that there was a mistake, never apologized for my inconvenience, and never even said thank you! It should have been right the first time. I told the receptionist that I was going to write a negative review about my experience and about how Greg was so rude, unprofessional, unwilling to make things right, never apologized, and never even thanked us. She said he is a character. I would have asked to speak with the manager, but, He Was Sitting In The Same Room and heard everything that was going on and Never offered to assist or speak with me!! I have used Don's in the past with much success. However, I will not be bringing them my business in the future and I cannot recommend them. There are many good choices of Body Shops in Rocky Mount, Stay away from Don's. (Insurance paid for the rental car for the initial work to the car. However, of course, they would not pay for the extra four days to repaint the bumper that was painted the wrong color by Don's. I believe Don's should have paid for the rental car as this was clearly their mistake) See pictures below of what they thought was a good job, and refused to make it right until I said it was unacceptable and refused the car until it was right. After a lot of back and forth, they never returned my calls, the car is finally fixed with matching paint. Note, that they Never called me to inform me of the progress of my repair or the lack of progress. I had to initiate every call. Even when my car was ready the second time, I called to see if it was ready since it was already the forth day of a 3-day repair. I was told that they are pulling it around right now. LOL I really doubt that. Show less
