I really love this Kickboxing Studio. They only reason I am not going here anymore TBH is because…read moreof the scheduling conflict with my work. Pros: + Staff is amazing and understanding + Great lessons + Intense work outs + Great community + Convenient location + Multiple levels for membership (ranging from 1x per week, 2x per week and unlimited) Additional Considerations: Please keep these in mind, because I think this studio may not be the best fit for everyone. - Locker rooms to change, but no showers - Each class is about 45 min (compared to some other ILK studios that do about 60 mini classes) - This studio is located inside the Rego Park Jewish Center. This means that they studio cannot be open during the Sabath (I.e. Friday evenings and all day Saturday). In addition, they also cannot hold class during the Jewish holidays. In spite of this, they do hold several classes in the am and later in the evenings Monday-Thursday and on Friday/Sunday mornings. IG: QueenOfAdventureNYC

You gotta sign up for ILKFH! Or at least a trial class! You will love it…read more I leave there sweating and feeling GREAT. The instructors are amazing and know what they're doing. They will make you work and encourage you to push yourself further and further. I hate the gym but their classes really help me stay active and so fun. They play great music and they even have themed events. Definitely give it a try! You won't regret it, pinky swear.

DO NOT SIGN UP ON THE FIRST DAY!!!!! its a trick, they just want to lock you into a contract/…read morepayment plan. Definitely take the rest of your groupon or introductory classes before you sign anything. After my first class, and barely breaking a sweat, i made the stupid mistake of signing the contract on the promise that i was going to get a better workout in subsequent classes. I made the HUGE mistake of signing up on the first day for 35 classes that cost 3 payments of $150 (THANK GOD I didnt sign a contract for 6 months or a year). So now im stuck paying for something that is not worth $150. I wouldve rather gotten a full membership at equinox for what the price is here. Not saying all ilovekickboxing locations arent good, just this one probably isnt the better of the queens locations.

Love this place and loved the workout I got at kickboxing! David was an amazing instructor and I…read moreloved his amazing energy! I was covered in sweat by the times left! The only thing I am bummed about is the fact that the classes fill up fast and you have to wait over two weeks to get another class! I'd love to be doing this at least 3 times a week... If there is this much interest in your classes! I recommend opening up the gym down stairs for a class or two! This is why I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 But all in all if you want a fantastic work out take Kickboxing! And Dave's your man!

I signed up with Omni for unlimited classes for six months, and have now completed about three…read moremonths of the package. This is going to be an excellent review, but before I tell you why I hold this place in high esteem, let me give you some background. I'm in my 30s, overweight, sedentary, and not used to being around "workout culture", if you know what I mean. I was nervous that I wouldn't really fit in, that I would be left behind in the dust of others who are physically fitter than I, and didn't really know what to expect. However, everyone here is extremely friendly and supportive - not just the staff, who are amazing and knowledgeable, but also the students. The instructors are patient, personable and provide great motivation without shaming you. The workouts are fun and well thought-out. This is more expensive than a gym membership, but it is also so much more rewarding. You really feel like you're part of a family when you train here, and, as for me, I am motivated to keep coming back! They also have classes for kids, and from what I've seen (I'm not a parent but have caught the tail end of some classes before my workout), the kids look like they're having an awesome time!
