The need a better manager. When I complained about not been refunded for a car park I paid for twice he post a really nasty review about me on a company website I do not even work for. Keep clear of the car park read more

Depending on the reason, it could be a convenient location…read more I would recommend that you book online to know the cost before entry as it can be very expensive to book hourly vs early bird etc. There are also penalties ($20 to $40) if you don't get back within the departure time. If you book online, as a caution to other potential users, do not use your phone tap feature for payment instead of the physical credit card to enter. You will be double charged as a breach of entry t&c. It used to a be a pin entry and I had missed the note about not using the physical credit card for all of 2022 and this year. So that is ~$100 that I won't get back for not reading the fine print. I should have checked my credit card statement more closely. When I was trying to book online, it was a bit glitchy and I had to enter the name and date etc multiple times for it to work and I accidentally booked the wrong date (day after). But that was my fault for not double checking the date. I find the other car parks in the Brisbane CBD easier to book and use.

PROS: - Convenient parking - Under ground - Elevator takes you straight from underground parking to Queens Plaza (hello Chanel store, Mimco, Mecca!) - 5 storey parking beneath Queens Plaza - Motorbike, 4WD friendly - Valet service available - $15 maximum on weekends - Open 24 hours CONS: - Super expensive on weekdays! (over 3 hrs is $65!!) - No cashier at exit - The driveway too narrow at bends (the walls have plenty of grazes from cars scraping)

You can either enter it from Ballow or Warner street but I always tend to take the Warner entrance for some reason. Like all secure parking, it does come at a price however. Prices change depending on what day you are there but generally on weekdays it is $$6 for 20 mins or less and then steadily gets more and more expensive as time goes by. On weekends it will start at $9 for a half hour of parking privilege and then rise and rise some more. There are deals for early birds or late leavers so it is worth checking out the website. The best part about McWhirters Secure Parking is the convenient location, being smack bang in the middle of the Valley. It is also open 24 hours so if you are the sober driver you can take everyone home after a long night of drinks and dancing. Funnily enough, I did catch a couple having a more intimate moment in their car on the second level of McWhirters once. In fact, I was quite impressed at the bouncing of the car, the unintentional accidental beeps, and the fact that all this was happening at around 10pm on a Tuesday of all days. Most of the time however, McWhirters is just a good old place to park your car.

Then they extended it by another week, making it three weeks. After that, they deferred it by yet another week. Today, they are saying it will be ready next week, which will make it a total of five weeks. This kind of service is unacceptable. They don't seem to know when they can finish the task, and if that's the case, they shouldn't have taken the car in the first place. For the first two weeks, they blamed RACQ, claiming that approval was delayed. But what are they doing now? They've deferred the completion three more times since then. Last week, they said the car was painted and needed to dry, and it would be delivered this week. Today, they're saying the same thing again--that it's painted and needs to dry. This is absolutely absurd and frustrating.

I actually asked them about the above review from the Tim guy and the real story is hilarious. They provided him with video evidence from their surveillance cameras showing them actually tightening his axle. They gave him a loan bike and he trashed it and abandoned it. Anyway, I had a major service and tune down there. It was great value and a lot cheaper. I expected although the work was to an excellent standard. I intend to book in my R class license here as well when I'm ready to move onto a bigger bike as they have a Q Ride school. Literally only leaving this review because I read the negative one and thought this guy must be a fuck wit because that is not even remotely the experience I had with these guys.

Go for a ride the next day and my rear wheel jolts sideways at 100 km/h. Manage to keep the bike upright and look down and see the rear axle nut missing (the nut holding the rear wheel on). They must have forgotten to tighten the nut. They say they will come and get me from where I was out near Dayboro. I expected a tow truck or something to show up but nope, the mechanic rocks up on his bike, does a quick roadside repair and tells me it's right to ride back to the shop... Then the way I was treated afterwards I felt was incredibly unprofessional and they didn't even refund the labour they charged me for changing the tyre. They gave me a $100 voucher for discounts on future services in an attempt to appease me. As if I'm gonna be going back there ever again after their mistake nearly cost me my life. I get that mistakes happen but when your mistake nearly costs a customer their life, you think that you would be treated with a bit more kindness than I was. They refused to pay for my bike to be towed to another location to be repaired after I told them I didn't trust them to touch it. Take the owner's response with a very big grain of salt. He tried lying and gaslighting me when I posted this review elsewhere. Pic of the wheel taken roadside immediately after I stopped.

I don't know much about cars but I was expecting, either the new tyre comes with rims or that Honda will fit the tyre onto my rims. None of the above happen. The staff just put the rubber into my car and was happy for me to drive off. I was then told there might be additional charges to put the rubber onto my rims. After speaking with other staff members, it was confirmed that the cost of $295 includes the rubber tyre and fitting, but this can't be done today so I have to go back next week. I am dissatisfied that I wasted an hour driving to Northside Honda just to be given a piece of rubber for $295, and later told that there might be additional charges for the fitting. Honda employees should be more professional and knowledgeable. They should know their products, that a new tyre purchased includes the rubber tyre and fitting. I am also dissatisfied that I had to paid for the tyre today when nothing has been done. And, that I still have to go back next week to get it fitted. This is unnecessary stress and could have been avoided had Northside Honda's employees been more professional and educated on their products and services.

The place is always busy, as I drive by it regularly, but the thought of going away from my Mitsubishi dealer service was somewhat daunting; now, I can only imagine how much money I would have saved if only I'd gone there for service years ago. Andrew Burrows, the owner, and his team are great people to work with. Their service is impeccable with an honesty - they actually try to save you money on repairs! - that's a rarity in today's world of hustle and bustle. They service all makes and models of cars, utes - almost whatever you drive - with a quick turnaround time and labour costs that won't break the bank! They also handle Safety Certificates - got one for a Honda Accord I recently sold - and also sell batteries, ice and even BBQ gas. However, go there for the automotive service. You'll be a convert if you own a car.
