After working with AsterRIDE to book 2 separate trips around our personal events in August 2019, I had 2 separate issues with each trip which seem to boil down to poor communication from AsterRIDE with their contracted drivers and their paying customers, despite have a written and signed contract for each trip. On the first trip, the driver failed to show up and we did not receive any communication. After waiting for 15 minutes, we called the switchboard, and we eventually were told that the driver "had a flat tire" and someone would be dispatched to pick us up. An understandable issue, but the lack of communication and lack of proactive action on the part of AsterRIDE was very disappointing. As a result, we had to find alternative means of transportation for the first half of our trip and our event-goers arrived late to their event. On the second trip, the driver was late, failed to follow the directions in the contract and caused significant inconvenience to our event-goers, despite my efforts to communicate and confirm the details with AsterRIDE. This was not the fault of the contracted driver (who was very apologetic and shared with me the incorrect instructions he received from AsterRIDE), but again, seems to be poor communication by AsterRIDE. In both cases, I worked with management (Seth, the CEO) to attempt to rectify these issues. In the first instance, after some discussion, I was given a partial refund of 20% (the most Seth was comfortable with at the time) and in the second, after a long silence, missed phone appointments and much wasted time on my part, I was given a written promise of 30% refund, but received less than this (Seth, if you are reading this, I am done wasting my time, but your lack of transparency and honesty is very disappointing). I was not fully satisfied with the resolution to either of these issues and it took me over 70 days to resolve them. Needless to say, I cannot recommend using AsterRIDE for any transportation service. read more

Stay away from this third party app that has no control over your driver. They left us hanging in 110 degree heat in Vegas. I was sent four text messages with different drivers, called the most recent driver assigned to pick us up. She told me she was picking up someone else and would send another driver. Not wanting to wait another 40 min we told them to forget it and politely asked for a refund. Driver told the third party app company that I refused the ride and they won't refund my money. This company is a hot mess and Books your driver third party. Don't do it. They don't stand behind all the BS on the web sight. read more

Do not EVER use this company! I am a travel agent and had booked a car service with Asterride from Breckenride, CO to Denver airport (2 1/2 hrs drive) only to find out when the driver did not show up that he was waiting at Denver airport instead. I then cancelled all my future bookings with them. One of which was for a ride from Marshall, CA to SFO airport, another 2 hrs ride. The driver texted my client that he could not be there at 745am but would arrive between 830am and 9am and my client would have missed his flight. Thank God I had arranged for another limo company since this had been cancelled anyway. Terrible experiences! read more

The ride there was good, but they never bothered to pick me up and their attitude after on, is the reason for this low rating. When I called them, they tried to say that I never made a round trip - NOT TRUE! I had the confirmation in my email and it was paid for. They told me there was nothing they could do, as everyone was busy. So, I waited a few and then called back and this time a rep apologized and said I will get reimbursed, but still never tried to make arrangements to have me picked up. Ended up taking a cab. STAY AWAY!! I received a confirmation. They charged my credit card and never picked us up at the airport. I contacted the company and was on hold for 30 minutes. A representative told me that they had problems with online reservations and they don't have a car to pick us up. Waited 7-10 days to receive a credit to my card but never received it. I called several times and was transferred over and over again. Finally spoke to someone who said they're having problems with their refund system. Never again!! read more

BEWARE! Booked a reservation for RT in Vegas. Received a confirmation email with pricing WAY above initial price advertised. Cancelled immediately (less than 5 minutes after reservation). They had no issue charging me within 5 seconds, but now, WEEKS after the immediate cancellation, still no refund. I have spoken to at least 5 people, all of whom give me a different explanation as to why I still do not have my refund. Finally spoke to Dan H - customer service manager(?) twice, said he would call me back LAST WEEK, and nothing. I have contacted my CC company to dispute charge, since this seems to be the only way I have any chance of getting my money back. Customer Service is NON-EXISTENT with AsterRIDE! read more

Horrible customer service. I reserved a 6 passenger limo for July 6, 2020 for 6:00 PM. Dinner reservation on the strip was at 6:45 PM. At 6:10 PM, I called AsterRide and their rep said she 'saw the reservation but it was never processed, that she can try sending me another driver in about 1 hour. I asked for a refund and we drove. On July 9th, I called again about the refund and was told someone from another department was going to contact me. Again on July 13th... nothing. They ended up hanging up. I had to dispute the transaction with my credit card issuer since AsterRide refused to refund my money after almost ruining my mom's birthday. NeverRide again. read more

I have used Asteride 3 times this year. They have been outstanding in setting up my airport transfers. I have used them in Seattle, Chicago, and Nashville. I have been picked up from each airport and brought safely to each hotel, and in the case of Nashville my Air BnB. They have also picked me up at every location and taken me to the airport. I setup a reservation on line, then confirm everything through e-mail and text so that there is no confusion. I have been satisfied so far, and plan on using their service in the future. read more

We were scammed! We purchased a round trip from the airport to our destination and then back to the airport 5 days later. My 1st thought was this is amazing. We were picked up from the airport in a beautiful clean car by a very friendly driver. However 3 days into our vacation we were contacted by the company saying that they booked us under the wrong fare. They didn't catch it in time for or our 1st leg but if we wanted them to come back and take us back to the airport we had to pay them an extra $30. I'm sorry they booked it wrong but we had purchased and paid for a round trip. It was not our fault they did it wrong. We were in the middle of our contract and trip and it should have been honored. We felt we were being taken advantage of and re booked with a different transportation company to get back to the airport. read more

The drivers were fantastic. The dispatcher I had to speak with made my experience terrible. Stanly was his name. Due to one of your drivers I booked another ride while in Seattle. There is nothing in your app stating I was getting a one way ride or round trip so I ordered my ride just like I did the first time (which was round trip). After attending the Seattle / GB football game I called for our ride to pick us up and was informed I only booked a one way ride. I asked how was I suppose to get back to my motel and stanly was quick to inform me that AsterRIDE was NOT a taxi service and I was to make other arrangements. I was left stranded with my father in a strange city with no transportation. So due to Stanly I don't think I would use your service again unless there was a change in your app where I could select one way or round trip because there is no way I could tell if it was my fault or if I had booked the ride correctly. I believe I did it right since there was no other options to do anything else. Please fix your app or fix Stanly. read more
