They have a huge variety of fabrics and you can probably spend a couple of hours looking around and finding different materials. The cost is pretty fair and the employees are so kind and helpful. The lady that helped us both times we went in was so sweet and she even went looking for a specific fabric design we were looking for and eventually found the perfect one. The only downside is parking is atrocious and just be resigned to the fact that you're going to spend $20 at one of the small lots and don't be fooled by the $3 parking because in tiny small print it says the first 15 minutes is $3 with a maximum parking fee for the day is $20.

While in the area might as well check the stores. We went here specifically for fabrics. My son is into sewing right now so this place has a wide selection of different types of fabrics. They also have accessories. Are they cheaper - maybe/ maybe not but my son wanted to see fabrics so that's why we are here. He picked up some items and accessories he needs, we also got a roll of pattern paper and a yard of fabric he will use to "practice with" Service is easy - pick a fabric and bring it to the table and they'll cut it for you. Spent $80 on a bunch of stuff. Let's see if my son actually makes something out of it. He did enjoy looking and browsing over their fabrics and accessories.

I will only be in the area when I know I have to stop at Muskatels or the flower mart. You can get lost in the place.. but its fleece heaven. Sagetex has SO much selection of fleece, I have made the tie edge blankets in patterns such as cheetah, giraffe, dog paws, plaid, all solids, camo, UCLA, USC, Lakers, disney, hello kitty... they literally have all the types of fleece you would want. The guys working the place are also extremely helpful! They welcome you and assist you when can't find anything! Instead of going to Joannes and paying almost $40 to make a fleece tie blanket, come down to sagetex and at most youll pay $12 for the same exact material to make the blanket.
