The technician who initially came out to provide the bid, Tristin, was very kind and knowledgeable. He took the time to walk me through the issues with my existing water heater and clearly explained the options. I appreciated that they were able to schedule the installation quickly--within just two days--which was very helpful given the situation. There was a small scheduling hiccup, but it was resolved quickly and professionally. Joe Raney and Julian handled the installation. Joe was exceptional and really stood out in terms of customer service. He carefully walked me through the entire install process and took time to explain water heater care, maintenance tips, and the do's and don'ts moving forward. He was extremely patient and thorough, and I never felt rushed. Julian was also very kind and professional during the installation. Overall, I'm satisfied with the work and very appreciative of the professionalism from everyone I interacted with. The only drawback for me was the pricing. Because I needed the work done quickly (only available for the following 3 business days), I went ahead and signed the bid which was a little over $3600 for a standard 40 gal gas water heater, expansion tank, repiping of cold/hot lines, permit, install, and disposal. Afterward, when I had time to look into other quotes, I found that other reputable contractors were coming in much lower via phone - one almost half. The $400 fee to pull what is essentially a $50 permit felt particularly high, especially since competitors I spoke with charge closer to $150-$250 for that service. I was also interested in potentially enrolling in the maintenance program for HVAC and the water heater, but I'm hesitant because if an issue is found during maintenance, the repair pricing will not be competitive. That said, the technicians themselves--especially Joe--provided excellent service, and I truly appreciated their professionalism, patience, and willingness to educate me during the process. The technicians don't determine pricing so this in is no way a reflection of their service.

We did notice some water near the base of the inside unit, so since we didn't know much about HVAC units we called Jerry Kelly to come take a look. The young man got here on time and stayed for a couple hours taking things apart and getting various readings. By the end of it he sits us down and lets us know our HVAC is near the end of its life and we need to replace the 2 ton unit and it will be $20k to replace and if we want to repair it will be $10k. He let us know his project manager would need to come out the next day to discuss next steps. That night we immediately sought out scheduling a second opinion. The second technician came out the following day. He let us know we just had a clogged hose and a weak capacitor. He serviced the unit where things needed fixed and tuned up our system for the spring. $170 TOTAL. He also let us know we have at least another decade of life in our whole system. The contrast between the Jerry Kelly technician and the other local HVAC company was substantial. One took our 100$ service fee and did not a single thing but try to sell us outrageously overpriced system and add extreme stress. Keep in mind we found our EXACT unit online brand new for $5k so the fact there was a $15k markup was insane. These technicians make commission, which at the end of the day is fine everyone has to work for a living but. Marking something up 15k is ridiculous and I hope others read this and go with the smaller local HVAC companies that care about their customers. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.

However, we did not get a call for a couple hours so I would not say they are open 24/7 but they did return our call pretty promptly (within hours). They were very courteous and they returned our call. However, they were not able to get to us until the next day so we did not end up using them this time which is understandable a lot of people were without heat when we had severe low temperatures. I recommend this company their family owned local and customer service is really great.

A new HVAC system was installed in our home in late March this year and everything was done professionally and neatly with no messes left for us to clean up. The system worked great until the incredibly damp and cool spring when the AC was having real trouble dealing with the humidity in the house. But Faszold--and its mother ship, Classic Aire Care--kept sending out a couple of stellar technicians to check and adjust the system until they got it right. And this was warranty work--we did not pay for anything as they tweaked settings and made the system work in our home. Anthony and Steve are true problem solvers as they continued to address individual parts like the thermostat and fans and they finally got it all worked out so that the system is able to keep our house below 50% humidity. It was a frustrating time but the company has been responsive and supportive. Mike Faszold was also amazing and continually answered my calls and texts during both pre-sale and after install time. For that reason, I had them do a spring checkup, Emma claimed the heat exchanger was cracked, the fly wheel needed cleaning, and the a/c compressor was "over amping." I had a different, highly reputable company check the furnace and a/c, and they found that none of this was true - neither the furnace nor the a/c had any problems. Also, Emma did not provide a written a written description of her service and recommendations, and they have not provided the promised receipt for the payment of the second inspection. They are either incompetent or dishonest, very possibly both.
