These guys are the real deal. I am overseeing the clearance of some estate property that had some serious hoarder issues and had them do two full truckloads so far. They have three guys at each load and they just go for it. No questions other than what is not touchable. No complaints from the guys, even with stairs and a narrow alley to park. They also fill each truck to above the top (covered) in about an hour. It was a reasonable price for a full load. What is notable is they all said thanks! read more

I used these guys many times over the years, along with a number of other debris hauling services. Associated Trucking is the best! They are quick, efficient and fair. The owner (or previous owner) Tracy, is a great guy. They have hauled literally tons of construction debris from my many projects. I just had a Yelp review removed for kyboshing another hauling service or two and praising these guys. Ridiculous that they removed the other review as those companies are terrible and one of the owners had contacted me asking me to remove the negative review. I didn't remove it but he convinced Yelp to do so. Yelp, really? Disappointing. Don't get stuck with the other losers I tried and failed with, go with Associated trucking. read more

Hit and Run by Associated Trucking Hauling Company - Last year, a large truck backed up into my street fence, snapping a bunch of the posts that had been recently upgraded. The truck started to drive away without reporting the incident, and fortunately, a PG&E worker photographed the truck. The driver stopped, and asked why his truck was being photographed. The worker explained and he said he'd come back to fix it, and drove away without leaving contact info. I waited for several hours and then called the company and reported the incident to the police. The driver called back, admitted guilt, and said he'd fix it. Then a rep from the company called and said they'd fix it, but they didn't want to understand that the fence had to be replaced - the posts were snapped out of the foundations and the metal fencing and wood posts were ruined. Now that the total fence has been replaced, they offered to reimburse me less than 15% of the cost. I'm now having to file a claim with the court. The insurance company has a significant deductible. What a waste of time. Please drive carefully - This is not the first time that someone damaged the fence. read more

My dad is fixing the backyard and frontyard of our house, and he had a lot of concrete, dirt, etc. so he calls this company to help move some of this stuff. They hustled my dad. They told me dad the trash filled up the first truck (and accomplished part of this by grabbing 5 large bags of yardwaste that my dad did not need them to throw away). They charged him $275 and said another truck was on the way to get the rest of the trash and it would only cost $275 as well. The second truck comes and they fill it halfway up and try to charge my dad $500, saying concrete waste is more expensive. $500 was supposed to be for a filled truckload. They obviously made the truck look full by filling the sides to the top and leaving the middle of the truck bed empty to create an illusion. My dad refused to pay full price, but they threatened to throw the trash back down. So he ended up paying $675. What a rip. Don't call them for your needs. read more

This place smashed up my cast iron bathtub and hauled it away in less than 10 minutes and charged $200, along with taking the rest of my demolition trash. Beats me breaking my back with the sledgehammer and then figuring out where to dump the crap. Use these guys if you have demolition to be hauled away. The other hauling places take more large pieces of trash, like old sofas and furniture. They were estimating $3-400 to take my bathtub and demolition. read more

Recommended by a contractor for demolition and trash removal, the crew at Associated far surpassed my expectations. Fast, clean, pleasant, honest, and unbelievably hard working. They arrived early each day to remove 15 dump truck loads full of household in record time; no task too hard or unpleasant for the crew. Great value on top of great service. Use them for hauling, demolition, and don't break your back or wallet. read more

Inefficient and dishonest. They showed up late with a smaller truck than was agreed on but still charged the same price. They broke a window and hid the damage during the work. I found it later after they were gone. They loaded their truck in such a way as to maximize volume and minimize weight. This necessitated another truck which also came smaller than agreed but at the original price. I have been a general Contractor in the construction business for around 30 years and have never seen such shoddy work. Their office staff are unhelpful also. I stipulated that I needed recycling tags but they failed to provide them and only after three weeks did I get one tag which was not correct in weight or volume. I believe they took the debris from my job to a landfill because it was heavy material and would have cost them more to recycle properly. I hired them because of the positive reviews I read here but now I doubt the validity of those reviews. I will certainly never hire this company again and I strongly recommend that you don't hire them either. read more

These guys are awesome!! We just bought our first house, it's a total fixer upper. The whole house needed to be gutted. Based on yelp reviews (I ignored the one bad one), I chose these guys. Tony met with us on a Sat. morning, he was easy to talk to, and gave us full confidence that his crew would have the job done in a day. We set up a date on Wed. that same week to do the demo, the crew headed by Francisco, was on time and professional. They started at 8 in the morning, and had the place gutted, cleaned and dump truck filled by 4. For all the work that was done, and how clean they left the place, you cannot beat the price! I will use them for everything going forward. Thanks for getting us started with a clean state to begin in our new home!! read more

I'll vouch for these guys. I am a general contractor. I have been doing business with the owner, Tony for a few years now. They have been doing our weekly garbage pickup at our shop plus they do misc. hauling and some pretty heavy excavation. I have never had a problem with them. Tony and Tracy always seem to work with me and my budget. I always recommend them and have yet to be let down. read more

Great service, very happy with this group, hard working guys on time and in budget, highly recommend them.

Great team of people - all very nice, professional and helpful. Perfect work. Best price I found. They hauled 15 cubic yards of sand, etc. out of our backyard in less than a day. A pleasure to work with. And they left the place perfectly clean! read more

I already had a really good feeling when two trusted contractors independently recommended Associated for our demolition work and hauling. Tracy came out right away on short notice, and then took time to carefully look at our difficult foundation removal problem. He was willing to help us as requested, and his price was very reasonable. But he went the extra mile and offered some excellent advice, explaining that he wasn't an engineer but we might want to talk to ours again, because he saw a solution that hadn't been considered. Our engineer said, "good idea...that makes sense." I said THANK YOU, Tracy! Just wanted to say what a breath of fresh air working with an experienced, highly qualified, and service-oriented company rather than those smooth talking sales guys who descended on our project. A few days later we're having to excavate more dirt than we originally anticipated. A bobcat and a small digger will probably save us a lot of time and money. Who did we call? You guessed it... Will post an update after the job is completed... read more

I needed to rip out my Kitchen and a small powder room, called the estimator, and he walked me through different ways I could have gotten it done. I opted for the crew + truck, vs having to deal with the debris bins. The crew was very respectful, and when I told them I wanted the hardwood planks saved, they set them aside, got them cleaned (took nails out etc.) As far as the job, it was flawless, these guys are surgeons with their sledge-hammers, took out everything that I wanted, and nothing that I didn't want to remove. All around - great job! read more

Our contractor recommended this company and we are so glad he did. The 3-man team that showed up was prompt, polite, careful and refreshingly cheerful. They did a great job in hauling away 7 heavy pieces of furniture, including a massive upright piano which they had to break down. A big thank you to Jesus, Elisio and the third person whose name I unfortunately didn't get. read more

These guys were told not to remove certain items. No one was there to monitor. I arrived unannounced and found many items were set aside for their own taking. I had to send them packing. The secretary played dumb. I had to dig through their dump truck to recover certain items. WATCH THEM AND BE EXPLICIT ON GIVING DIRECTION. read more

I highly recommend this company. I had a cement wall removed and they did everything I asked in just the way I wanted it. They worked very hard and charged a very reasonable amount. Great guys too especially Chris. read more

We called and got 3 quotes from different companies to remove a 40 foot boat from yard that had been sitting there since 1954. Not only was the price way to much but at the end of the day they could not even do the job. Associated Trucking came in and broke the whole 40ft boat down, hauled it off in 3 different loads and then cleaned the whole yard. George and Edwardo made me feel very safe and secure that nothing would get damaged and no one would get hurt and their years of experience showed in the work they performed. No hidden cost, 1 flat rate and cheaper than any one else in the Bay Area. I deal with construction workers all day long and it is very nice to work with a company that not only did a job no one else could do but gave outstanding customer service. I don't know about the bad ratings listed below but sometimes people will ask for one thing at a start of a job and then during the job ask for something else and than the price goes up. When they are told the price goes up they get mad and then want to put a bad review on yelp, when in realty the customer is at fault. I am saying this because I cannot ever see how this company could get a bad review after the wonderful job they did for us and I highly recommend Associated Trucking...... Great Job George and Edwardo, we will be using you again ! read more
