If you're looking for pain management, this is not the company! This company is only out for money....not patient care. They push products and additional services not needed just to make money, leaving patient with extra cost insurance won't cover and still in pain. Customer service is nonexistent and does not return phone calls. They are disorganized and schedule appointments for patients without patients knowledge, then try to charge "no show" cost when patient doesn't show up. After finding out that I had surgery scheduled the PA FaceTime me and advised me that I no longer needed to return to any further visits. This company also fails to chart appropriately. I literally did everything they asked me to do. They told me i couldn't do physical therapy because i wasn't stable enough. I got two epidurals that worked good for a week then i got a third that didn't last week and went for a follow up today and told them i was in extreme pain and didn't feel like they were listening to me. They said they would try to get me in for another epidural tomorrow. Now i get a phone call saying i can't be their patient anymore because I'm not being compliant when really it's because i told them i called a crisis hotline because the pain was so bad. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!!!!! You should be able to express your frustration with any doctor that you pay even if they are bad without having to worry about being fired as a patient for doing so! Now i have level 9 pain and no doctor to even treat me all for being honest with how i was feeling with Libby and her saying she was listening to me and understood. Clearly that was all a lie if she understood she wouldn't have pressed for this at my ultimate time of need and at the lowest point in my entire life! I have used APG now for two different situations, both times serious back issues. I have found them to be professional, thorough and effective. Both times my issues were resolved without the need for surgery and that was my goal. I have also referred several people over the past few years and have heard nothing but good reports back from those experiences. New patient moving from Oklahoma to Illinois: I have been there four times, received one injection, no MRI. This was the most painful injection I ever received in my back and it did not work. They spend more time trying to convince me to use their chiropractor and their physical therapy area. They convinced me I needed a very expensive back brace. They wanted to do an ultrasound and I agreed and they scheduled the follow-up appointment a week later. I arrive to be advised that NO one ready the ultrasound and needed to make another appointment but had to pain for the appointment that day that was a waste of time. My wife and I both believe there is a lack of customer service and who knows what doctor may be there. Still lots of pain. read more

I'm begrudgingly using 1 star because I can't go any lower. These people will throw everything at you whether you need it or not. They told me I needed a neck brace and chiropractic work on my neck and when I spoke with a Pain Management physician and a Physical Therapist / Doctor they said the brace was unnecessary and the chiropractic work could cause a stroke given my history. They would not let me return the brace even after someone there said they would credit me. They ignored my phone calls and didn't set up appointments when they said they would. Terrible. Just terrible. The receptionist is not truthful and not helpful. No help and no relief. Stay away. read more

Treating a patient with cervical herniation is NOT the time to press with force on the top of patients skull. Horrific, cold bedside manner. She also stated she could determine exactly where I needed an epidural injection by a physical exam....who needs to review an MRI? Not Tanya! read more

I am so glad I found Associated Physicians Group. I have spent many years trying to resolve shoulder pain and stiffness with no luck. I spent a lot of time (and co-pays!) at two different physical therapy centers that are part of large hospital systems without much success. I finally found the relief I was looking for thanks to the team at Associated Physicians Group. They came up with treatment that not only reduced my pain, but also gave me more flexibility so I can swim laps again! I am thrilled with my second chance. Having the latest treatment methods is important, but at APG, you also get lots of lots of one-on-one time with your therapist. It makes a huge difference. Now that I have my shoulder fixed, I have started dealing with the arthritis in my knees. I want to avoid a knee replacement if possible so I am part of the knee pain program.
