I came in with severe nerve pain and was told I likely need a fusion, yet the staff does not appear knowledgeable about treating nerve pain effectively. Instead, I was given low-dose steroids and Tylenol--neither of which provided any relief. When I called to report that the treatment wasn't working, I felt dismissed and was treated as if I were exaggerating my pain or seeking drugs. Eventually, I received a steroid injection, but it also did not help. Despite that, their plan was simply to repeat the same ineffective treatment. On top of that, the specialist was not respectful of patients' time. I waited 45 minutes past my appointment before deciding to leave due to the delay. There were also serious issues with communication about insurance. The office told me that my insurance required preauthorization, which delayed my care. When I contacted my insurance company directly, I was told this was not true. Despite this, the office continued to insist otherwise. Overall, this experience was frustrating, dismissive, and a waste of time. I strongly recommend finding a more attentive and knowledgeable provider before considering Axis.

Every therapist is so caring and informative. My kiddo always comes out of therapy with a little project she did, and it always astounds me that she can do things I never knew she was ready for. We currently attend PT, OT, and Speech here and I absolutely love every person! I will never leave this place until my daughter graduates from pediatrics to the adulthood. The told me I need to use a neck brace I paid ($85) did not help. They told me I needed shots and they performed several procedures ($2542) co-pay $200. Physical therapy - numerous sessions ($1200+) - copay $120and did not help. I finally stop going and stopped listening to their suggestions for more procedures. I AM NOT Happy the APG, nothing they suggested helped at all!!

I could hear my nurse talk about me at the nurse's station after she took my vitals. The office failed to follow through when I was trying to get an MRI order through to the VA. Then when I tried to get more visits authorized by the VA the office REFUSED TO REQUEST MORE VISITS. They say they won't bother because the VA has denied other patients more visits in the past. I wasted weeks making phone call after phone call trying to get more visits authorized, only to find out that the problem was with APG itself. I'm doing everything I can to stop other veterans from having to go through this nightmare.
