The staff is very friendly and helpful. I recently changed to a different dentist because of difficulties getting an appointment with a hygienist. It makes you think why do they run through Drs so much... you get comfortable with one Dr and then you turn around and there is a new one.. There is a new front desk girl I think her name is D, short , white girl with glasses... yea she is definitely a fast talker, tries to talk your money right out your pocket without you fully understanding what you are even getting scheduled for! The Dr recommends treatment that you don't even really need at times, like I said they are all about the money!! And the "manager" Joe Gindela who is literally never there because I guess he's too important to be on the premises... absolute asshole!! The only face I recognize was the girl Autumn who I guess just sticks it out... maybe she will become manager one day if she continues to kiss enough ass lol

Not sure where to start with this review! We were overly excited to take my son to this dentist…read morebecause it's very kid friendly. The office decor is super kiddy and very colorful. My son who's very shy and attached to us (parents) wiggles down and went to go play with other kids which is shocking to us a bit. So that's the positive side! Ok, now here's my mistake. Our dental insurance covers almost everywhere but apparently this place was out of network. Ok my bad, I should have checked before I got there. But they way they treated us was so poorly. The assistant seemed like she didn't want to take care of us at all. She was waiting for the "OK" if our insurance covered or not before she took my son back. And the big guy at the receptionist desk was just bluntly rude and stuck up. He had that I'm better than you kind of attitude. Also, front desk people were dressed like bums. You would think you would have your staff dressed more appropriately and no it wasn't a causal Friday. Another thing is after the visit with the doctor, generally kids get to pick/or given a sticker or prize. Nope not my son, he didn't exist to them apparently. Anyways, the other positive thing is that Dr. Rice was fantastic! He was very friendly and attentive. It would be nice if his staff was trained the same way.

As a parent, I cannot stress the importance of finding a great dentist for your little ones. You…read moreknow most kids have apprehensions about going to ANY doctor, something about those face masks and needles, I guess ;). However, I saw fit to leave a review because my children love this dentist office. The staff is super friendly and they go above and beyond to ensure that children feel safe and comfortable throughout the entire appointment. They even gave my kids gift bags to take home and practice their brushing and flossing. For the first week after my 5-year old's appointment, she told me repeatedly that sugar was bad for her teeth and that she was going to brush her teeth after every meal. You don't understand, it was repeatedly. It was a bit redundant, but I was happy that she learned something new and was happy to share. Now, for adults, you would also appreciate this office because of the professionalism of the staff and cleanliness of the facility. The waiting room has comfy clean couches and a TV to keep you occupied. The staff was very friendly and just as knowledgeable as the dentist. Dr. Thompson is amazing and very straight forward with her guidance on maintaining healthy teeth. She even gave me a pep talk on stopping my 5-year old's finger sucking and I am happy to report that it worked and she no longer sucks her fingers! Thanks, Soft Touch Dentistry for a pleasant doctor's visit.

This review is not for the dentist or her assistants. I saw Dr. Thompson yesterday for an exam, and…read moreshe was kind and thorough. However, I am frustrated with her front receptionists. I wanted to schedule my next appointment in October, and I gave them my insurance's coverage information that clearly states the appointment would be covered. However, based on some "policy" that the front desk came up with, they wanted me to schedule the appointment in November because they were worried insurance wouldn't cover the appointment. 1. I asked to see this policy as written, and the front desk told me no. 2. I asked to speak to an office manager, and the front desk told me no. She asked me if I wanted to speak to the other receptionist. I said yes. After being on hold, she did not transfer me to anyone and told me to go to another dental office. 3. I asked them if they could file the claim for me in October, and if insurance wouldn't cover it, I'd be happy to pay out of pocket. They refused to even try to file the insurance claim, stating their "policy" tells them not to. I understand being worried insurance won't cover the appointment, but I'm angry at the fact they wouldn't even try to file the claim without a good reason, especially when I told them I would assume the risk. I also think the front desk was unprofessional in saying she'll let me speak to another receptionist but then turns around and tells me to go to another dental office. I DO NOT recommend this office, especially to my fellow military spouses. Please go anywhere else.

Dr. R. struck me as a bit of an oddball when I first met him--almost overly cheerful. Over time, though, that demeanor seemed to fade. I never felt like my dental needs were truly being addressed; it often felt more like my teeth were being prepped for future repairs. Then came a visit where he told me I needed a root canal on a healthy tooth. At the time, I didn't question his opinion, but I had my doubts. My understanding is that root canals are typically necessary when a tooth is significantly compromised. At my most recent visit, a molar cracked, and I immediately had that sinking feeling: "root canal." I was right. When I told him I wasn't on board, he simply stood there tapping his foot, waiting for me to give in. I told him I would be seeking a second opinion--and that's exactly what I did. My new dentist confirmed that a root canal was not necessary, as the tooth was still healthy. Unfortunately, that experience caused me to lose all trust.
