This just about has to be the most frustrating company I have ever had to deal with. Before I begin, I'm writing this review as a Norman customer, but only saw the Anadarko address. Nevertheless, the criticism applies to company structure far more than anyone working in the shops who do a valiant job without any ability to actually solve most problems (including applying payments) in-house. Typically, these guys are swamped because every transaction is so inefficient and they appear to be working without bathroom breaks as a result of understaffing. The customer service structure is absolutely horrible. Making a payment in a store means someone at corporate will count you as paid upwards of two hours afterwards. Got cutoff and need to talk to customer service after your store has closed? Too bad, calling 611 will reroute you to an automated payment menu. Okay, so I got cutoff with a credit on the account, so maybe there's a way to apply your credit using the automated system? Nope. Cash customers pay money to give them money. Have an $8 credit, but need to apply it towards a $10 top up? Nope, can't do that. Asked the agent if he could simply refund my remaining balance (which in my case was an overpayment, not matching incentive) and just pay the $10? Nope. Lifeline programs in Oklahoma have absolutely terrible terms. If you can find anyone with the same terms as Assist, use them instead! read more
