I attended an auction held by this company in Edmond. I purchased several items. At the auction many seemingly authentic WWII items were sold. I ended up with several WWII daggers that i paid hundreds of dollars each for. Those daggers turned out to be cheap reproductions averrable on the internet for around $20. After contacting several local auction houses, I was informed that in a case where the items turn out to be non genuine most houses would alert the owner of the items and issue a refund. Mr Miears was not interested in any refunds and stuck to his strict no-refunds policy. I often wonder if Mr. Miears added the non genuine items to the auction that included the actual genuine WWII items. I would not do business with Michael Miears Auctions and i would caution anyone else to do so as well. read more
