I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Aspire Martial Arts and the instructor/ owner, Mr. Morris. I was hesitant in placing my son in tae kwon do at the age of 14 but after I spoke to Mr. Morris he eased my concerns and fears. Mr. Morris not only teaches the children about tae kwon do and bully prevention, but also about leadership, respect, perseverance, and accountability. If you find yourself on the fence about placing your child in martial arts, I recommend you visit a class at Aspire; you will be thoroughly impressed with the studio and Mr. Morris!!

My 4 yr old son loves it here. It is his first martial arts experience and Mr. Morris is such an amazing teacher. I love how he not only teaches martial arts but also teaches them about bullying and talks to the kids about things they go through. My son has learned to be more responsible and I love how much more respectful he has become and attentive. I also love how Mr. Morris and his team have taken such an active role with all the children. My son has always been so shy and now he is so confident. Thank you Mr. Morris and everyone at Aspire.

I won't post photos, because in addition to my children, there are others in the photo, but these are great activities! Highly recommend!

World class instruction. I would not consider having my children train at any other school. Mr. Morris and his staff are amazing.

It's been great for all of us. My 8-year-old has really been enjoying the dojo and the classes have not only been great for teaching him self-defense, but he has also learned humility and benefitted from the structure and discipline. His behavior is already noticeably better. As a 40-year-old fat guy I'm not looking to win a world title or get involved in any kind of "Hard Core" battle training, but really enjoying the training with Professor Ricky. It's a great work out with a great group of people. The coaches are very knowledgeable and good at working with you at your level. Everybody is there to support each other to train and get better. It certainly can be very intimidating at first, but after you get a chance to meet everybody you soon realize that nobody is there to flex an ego or try and crush anybody. I recommend this place for the entire family. It's a lovely little community to become a party of.

American Family Kenpo Karate is a place you can learn self defense as well as the art of karate…read more Very kid friendly. The instructors Mr. Wilson and Ms. Alba care about the children and adults they teach. They do not just teach martial arts but good values. Respect, discipline and manners are just a few. My five your old grandson attends classes here. I am very comfortable that he goes here. He is definitely in good hands. For an affordable start up and monthly fee. My grandson is given a uniform (gee), belt, sparing gloves and three lessons a week in a clean studio. The studio isn't massive but has enough space for several students to move around in. Having all the necessary equipment- punching and kicking bags, padded matt and a large mirror to work in front of. The studio even has a sitting area for non-participants to watch the class. Overall, a well ran karate studio taught by people who know Kenpo Karate/ self defense and how to teach to it. Support local businesses especially the good ones. American Family Kenpo Karate is great. I highly recommend this place.

I came upon American Family Kenpo. Having experience in Krav Maga, Jiu Jitsu, and Kenpo before, I always remembered Kenpo as having the most comprehensive and effective self defense training. So, I joined with my daughters and have been very pleased since. Kenpo is not meant to be showy, but meant to be real- and to deal with real situations and even multiple opponents. The kids program is excellent. Children practice strikes, blocks, and escape procedures. Kids do not spar against other kids but instead at taught to deal with an adult sized opponent. My girls love it. They are encouraged to work through the hard parts and they are taught discipline and ownership as well. During C19 the studio offered online courses and my kids were just as into it. And, I was super thankful for their willingness to do something difficult for them, but a relief to me with three energetic kids. Please note, this is classified as a gym and therefore they have a gym membership style of payment, etc, so make sure you are ready to commit before you sign up.
