We need our brick home masonry tuck pointed in several locations and a few bricks replaced on our chimney. Jasper did a walk around with us and pointed out the areas where he would work. His act was very thorough and his price seemed reasonable. We asked him to do the work. Since we were heading into winter, the start of work was delayed until spring 2023. After calling Jasper and reminding him of the job and quote, he agreed to start the following week. After a couple hours of work, Jasper claimed to be nearly complete. We took another walk around and I pointed out the numerous areas he had spotted and agreed to fix for the quoted price. He acknowledged the work and got back to it. My wife and I had to leave for a planned appointment, so I again reminded Jasper of the work yet to be done. He stated that he would get it done, but in fact left the job site a few minutes after we did. Upon our return we were disappointed in both the amount and quality of his work. We had paid the equivalent of roughly $250 per hour for a substandard and incomplete job. I would never hire Jasper for any masonry work we might need. If I wanted poor workmanship, I'd do it myself and save the money.

Amazingly it was also the lowest bid. Honest and direct in the consultation and the work crew was professional and pleasant. We recently last week had work done by Sam the Concrete man, they did an awesome job on the…read moredriveway. We also had them to install a drain in the driveway as well. We have had major issues with the drainage where mud is coming up out of the drain and our brand new driveway is full of mud where the drain is located. We have spoken with the owner to report the issue as soon as we discovered it he admitted that there needs to be me more dirt which he has promised to bring and never has showed up. When it rains the water is backing up and coming back to through the drain that was installed. We have contacted the owner via phone and text, he was supposed to get back to us by Tuesday and it is now Wednesday and he is not returning our calls. We have called the office and they just refer us to the owner and still no response. We paid thousands of dollars thinking that the work would be done correctly and that it being a bigger company if we had issues they would be resolved. When it was time to pay the owner showed up with no problem, now that we have issues with the work done we can't get a response. We are so frustrated to the point of tears.
