Another review I strongly suggest when viewing or considering renting here at Aspen really ask questions to the leasing agents. Don't let them tell you anything. If you have neighbors living above you make sure to inquire if kids live in the unit. It's not agains the law to ask about the property, tenants and noise complaints. A Friend of mine you is currently staying there and having issues with the neighbors above in B202 is a joke. Again the leasing agent does not care, or the management of the buildings that are owned by Aspen. They keep telling him the noise that is going on is normal day to day noise. I have so many videos taken over the weekend two that started at 8:30 am and the rest were all day dragging heavy whatever it was and toddlers running all day. It's crazy. I believe in apartment etiquitte becasue we all pay rent to live a comfortable living when renting. I feel like apartment complexes need to rent units out to familys with kids on the bottom floor period it's rude and disrespectful. With this being said Be aware of building B they been renting that unit for 6 years and with kids you should be looking for a single family home so you can make all the noise you want. Aspen at Belevedre do better. Your property is nice. I seen another review with complaints of break in or stolen cars. I will say in the summer time put your car in the garage as the kids play. Oh and the kids also know how to get into the garages and again the office will take forever to address. the only way you can say anythig about your property you will have to catch them. read more

I texted Maintenance at 11:28am about my sink being clogged. They texted me back at 11:48am. At 11:50am the order is placed and in progress. I text again at 1:51pm about an ETA because we need the sink to make meals for a family of 5. They texted back at 1:52pm that it's still in progress and they'll get to it as soon as possible. It's not 5:04pm and still no one has came, so I text them again 5:040pm to ask what's going on. Their response again is it's in progress. So I call the leasing office and speak with Arthur who says the maintenance manager leaves at 5:30pm and so I let him know so it's 5:18pm he's still here somewhere then, and this needs to be fixed. He puts me on hold to call him, and says he says it's not an emergency and they'll be here tomorrow morning. So I asked for a number to speak with him and he says he's not at work. Makes no sense! It's still before 5:30pm. A sink full of water that smells like sewer and more water is coming out of the drain filling the sink even more is not an emergency and has to sit here til they come back tomorrow! My home stinks like sewer. I have kids. All our windows are open and it's cold. Our heater still hasn't been fixed since we've moved in so we've been using a space heater. It's frustrating! They escalated it to the emergency maintenance and I still have no help. This is not my first experience with maintenance. For the amount of money we pay we would love to live in a space where everything is working properly! read more

Wanted to come back and add that if it snows here, sit tight because you'll be stuck for days!!! They're too cheap to pay to have someone come out and clear the roads so they hope the condo HOA will clear the main road here. I know this year that Mae did go around salting as much as she could - a lot of buildings were missed and left completely icy - a huge safety hazard! Hire people to properly clean things instead of forcing your office staff to do it. Last year, when there was a big snow storm there was a pile up of cars at the entrance. A HUGE safety hazard! What if someone had an emergency and medical personnel had to get through? Zero accountability! Maintenance is incredible. Schmidt was amazing. I had water coming from my bathroom and call over to the office and May was quick to get Schmidt over here. Im so sad. I really loved these apartments until I realized it's a hub for people to steal cars and vandalize them. Apparently almost all my neighbors including myself have been victims of our cars being disrespected. When calling management, they said there's nothing they can do. I see the police here every other day because of the reports being filed. My friend was kind enough to let me borrow her car after they stole mine. It was only here one day when someone sawed off her catalytic converter . I'm disgusted at the little security. There's no parking here. Everyone is allowed 1 spot so if your household has two then your subject to parking down the hill. So after walking up the hill in the cold rain, and not being able to hear your car alarm go off in case someone is tampering with it, then you'll wake up to your car being defaced. Wish they would up their security and put cameras up it's just not fair. Will be moving out as soon as lease is over. read more

So with new management I can't complain. Tiffany Harms has been an incredible manager! Kudos to Tiffany and the maintenance staff esp Sargio, he's been wonderful in educating and completing the work order. Tiffany is a inviting, bright, professional manager. Schmidt was quick to fix our maintenance issues. Overall this place is good for me because it is close to light rail and Southcenter.

We lived here for nearly a year. We had a car garage and plenty of closet and storage space. Our first month of move in was a disaster because the unit above ours had a pipe break due to the winter storm and their place flooded and flooded our apartment below. Thank goodness we had property insurance (thanks Lemonade ins). Management accomodated us well and moved us out to a better unit with an awesome view. During our stay, if needed, Maintenance assisted and Management responded when we had questions or needed assistance. We loved the view from our place and will definitely miss it. Our only recommendation would be for management to install security cameras around outside of the property. read more

Parking is really Bad, no guest parking, they are doing contraction in one area , so they took parking areas away in front on my build to assign to another I was unloading Family from Airport making multiple trips for my Fathers Funeral on Tomorrow Friday May 27th .... Just look away and find somewhere else the leeches will not only take your security deposit (so wave goodbye to that) but they will charge you for everything and I do mean everything even if the "walk through" you have with maintenance because the office is too busy to walk through all the bs they plan on charging you. Do you like stepping out to your patio/opening your windows and smelling marijuana, stepping into dog crap on a regular basis? Dealing with loud obnoxious music after 11pm? Do you like loud obnoxious neighbors that yell and slam doors on a regular basis? Placing complaints and calling the office does nothing because they (tenants) are still obnoxious. Do you like people beeping their car horns at 3am because someone has parked in their parking space and instead of having it towed they lay on the horn for 15mins? Do you enjoy smoke alarms always going off I'm not only your bldg but other bldgs? Kids are always running and jumping in front of your car or placing rocks in the roads and not like Little rocks but all sizes. Gosh forbid their parents are at the bus stop to get them and gosh forbid they go straight home from school. How about when you call the office and get Tina and her piss poor customer service (doesn't matter when you call she will have an attitude). Do you like waiting days/weeks for your maintenance to be fixed because they can't keep maintenance people to save their lives? Do you enjoy the gym not having fully working equipment, and obnoxious people taking up space on the equipment just to watch their significant other work out while their music blares horribly in the background? Do you like gates that are supposed to work and don't work? The gates keep no one out because the codes don't work and people tend to leave them open anyways. Do you like dealing with overflowing trash bins and the constant notifications saying there will be in increase in cost because people don't understand the concept of placing trash inside the provided containers? While there are three dumpsters people can use they all seem to fill up at the same time so what's up with that? Do you like your car being broken into and being told to make sure your cars are always locked (basically it's your fault)? Don't even think for a second that there are working cameras to help you out they won't and don't bother calling the office they don't care. Don't even bother having guests if you have one parking space because you'll be at risk of a car being towed because there is little to no parking. Those that have two spaces (due to having a garage) most don't even use their garage but have their guests park in the open spaces (I've seen it happen a number of times), and again the office is either clueless or will send a message in the portal knowing most of their tenants don't pay attention to it. Do you like the hallway/walkway lights looking like an episode off of Batman (lights were broken that when I moved in and still broken once I moved out)? Do you enjoy seeing the cops coming in and out of the complex on a semi weekly basis? The winters here could've/should've been better but don't bother contacting the office if/when your car slides down hill they will tell you HOA takes care of one side while someone else tends to the other side. Don't even think you'll be able to walk on the sidewalks because they don't shovel and salt/sand the sidewalks and roads. Long post but worth it if it saves people from wasting their money at this jank spot if still considering this place you were warned and view the other comments. This place is expensive for no reason make sure you check it out when school breaks out and on the weekends, hell check it out on weekdays so you can view the trash/recycle areas for yourself. Lastly they advertise parcel pending and have "told the delivery people to use it" but some don't and will leave your package in front of your door maybe it'll be there for you when you get notification maybe it won't. Packages that don't make it to the mailbox is like Russian roulette out here and don't bother posting that your package is missing on the community page or calling the post office both are useless. The apartment also had black mold in it. I'll find those pictures and load them to this as well. Best choice ever was leaving that place! Read all the print and the fine print then read it all again because you will not get your deposit back, you will be charged for extra things that weren't even fixed before you moved into the apartment. Tina needs an upgrade in personality and a refresher in people skills. Oh and the guy that watches and drives around in the kart, he's apparently the one to check for suspicious things. He can be found often if not most times sleeping in front of the tv in the clubhouse. Just look away and find somewhere else to stay because this place isn't worth your soul. If you are reading this while considering this a place to move to: DO. NOT. DO. IT. I REPEAT - DO NOT LIVE HERE! IF I COULD GIVE THIS DUMP -2 STARS I WOULD! From the second I signed my lease with Aspens at Belvedere I knew I made a huge mistake. The staff here has been a joke since day one - they refuse to do any initial walk through when you move in, so if you even notice any slight damage to your unit and put it on your move in sheet they will deny that it was there before move in and then refuse to make any accommodations to fix it to even a respectable standard. Through out my entire lease at Aspens at Belvedere (1yr 7mo) there were nothing but issues - from lightning in the main corridors in each building being out, exterior gates not locking properly (or even complete handles missing for months!), rodents living in the attic, plumping backing up, and worst of all NO PARKING anywhere. I even had one of the maintenance crew live in the same building as I did and nothing was ever addressed for months at a time! The staff in general is a joke - there is no management of parking, tenants, projects, or even general care for the tenants on the property. The entire online portal is constantly full of complaints about parking, over flow trash, loud and rude neighbors, etc and they do NOTHING to help alleviate any of the situations. Worst of all, they WILL steal from you. READ ALL OF THEIR FINE PRINT - or lack there of. Again, when I moved out of my lease, the staff in the office was too busy to stay until the listed closing time to do a proper walk through on my move out and instead they made a maintenance staff member do the walk through instead. He was in and out in 5 minutes and barely took a good look at any detail in the unit. When done, he stated I'd be charged a mandatory $75 carpet cleaning fee - when questioned where that is in the paperwork, he said 'it's what we always charge no matter what'. After reviewing my lease documents - the original and my renewal - NO WHERE in the document does it say there is a mandatory move out cleaning fee of all carpets. The maintenance staff also refused to let me see any of his written paperwork and insisted I did not need to sign anything. When I reached out to the leasing office to ask why I was being charged such a cleaning fee, but I knew for A FACT that I left my unit cleaner than I got it moving in, I was told I would be charged an additional $250 pet cleaning fee (my pet deposit I would not get back)! This completely went against what their (clearly) incompetent maintenance staff said. When I asked for reference as to WHAT damage I did to the unit that did not bring it back to 'initial condition except for reasonable wear and tear' they had no proof of paperwork, photos, or any other type of documentation to support their claim. One email later their again CLEARLY INCOMPETENT 'Office Manger' did what any other lazy individual would do - send me to an online portal to repeat my entire case to the home company that runs this and several other apartment complexes. This ultimately lead to no where. I have also put in a report to the BBB for the area and am currently working with another source to create a legal case against Prime Residential for their piss poor excuse of a business and taking advantage of innocent consumers and being nothing but modern day THIEVES. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere before you get screwed like myself and several others who unfortunately put their trust into the TRASH PEOPLE that is Prime Residential. UPDATE 10/23/18: Despite what the recent comment from Cooper at Aspens at Belvedere has stated, they are in fact NOT working on any issues offline. They have refused any sort of communication with me for the past TWO MONTHS - August 23rd to be exact from Christina Baza - since moving out and have simply shoved me off to the home office of Prime Residential online portal knowing I will get no where but typical pre-typed responses such as his below. DO NOT BE FOOLED. UPDATED 10/24/18: Again, despite what the Aspens at Belvedere representative Cooper has stated - there is no Customer Representative team to contact besides a Prime Realestate Portal online who will just provide you with an automated response, NOT a person who will conduct a logical and well thought out conversation to discuss issues. Furthermore, you'd think if they have any of my personal information and consider this an issue they'd truthfully like to resolve, they would take the time to reach out to me directly since any time I have contacted Aspens at Belvedere directly they have ignored and denied any requests. Any more excuses you want to try Cooper?? ACTUAL CUSTOMER SERVICE WOULD WORK. I've lived here for more than 5 years and our family loves it!! Quiet, serene, peaceful, with a beautiful setting and lots of places for kids to play, dogs to walk, and a nice neighborhood to stroll through. Close to everything, and yet feels really tucked away in a nice quiet spot. The floorplans are roomy, the office staff are great, and the maintenance staff keep things spiffy and working. They've been great all through COVID, making adjustments to operations to keep appropriate distance and protect folks. If you want a home base where your family can thrive, this is a wonderful spot to make your next home. read more

I am giving a five star because of Tiffany Harms the Manager, Mae the assistant manager and Schmidt the head of maintenance. They are all very helpful when you needed something done or with any concerns you may have. Schmidt is always approachable, will take the time to talk to you about any maintenance issues. Edit to add: My feelings on this place have NOT always been like this. In fact the first 9 months or so, we loved it so much that 2 other units are filled by friends/coworkers that we referred here. They also plan to move shortly for similar reasons. Original post: We are on year 2 living here. Unfortunately due to health reasons moving wasn't an option at the time of our lease renewal, but once this one is up we will be leaving as fast as we can. When we first moved in, we loved it. Maintenance came within 24 hours for every request and checked in periodically if there was a delay due to parts, the community board was active and friendly, the management/office staff were fabulous and welcoming, the rent prices were unbeatable. Now it takes weeks for maintenance to even come look at something, twice now we have actually forgotten that we even put in a request it took so long, and when it came to our heater in the master bedroom it was "fixed" for one use. After we turned it off and tried to turn it back on again it didn't work. Only saving grace is that it had taken them so long to come check it out, we no longer needed the heater for the year. Parking is IMPOSSIBLE. Yes, the units come with a spot, but if you have a second car you're screwed. A friend of ours also lives in the complex. They got one of the units with 2 spaces but only has 1 vehicle, so they let us use their extra assigned spot. This is something that we have tried to bring up with multiple people in the front office but have just been told "I'll have to get back to you" or "oh, this is the first I'm hearing of it" etc etc. They then tried to accuse the friend and charge them for allowing someone to live with them that wasn't on the lease, based on the fact that our additional vehicle was in their spot. Every single bad review calling out Tina for sucking doesn't do the level of suck justice. She has zero people skills and acts like you are trying to steal her kidney when you're simply trying to get something done that is part of her actual job (like give her the paperwork for the new parking pass system that they spammed us about 10 times a week online and via paper notes on our doors for a month). Vimone is fantastic, but the poor woman is clearly exhausted and I don't blame her since the vast majority of the tenants will go out of their way to avoid having to interact with Tina meaning the load falls on Vimone. Comments on the online community board have to be approved by management before they are viewable by the neighbors, but in the last 6 months or so unless someone is trying to sell furniture, the comments rarely get posted. The rent prices keep going up and the quality of living is plummeting every week. Neighbors shoot off fireworks until 11pm on weeknights, or come home drunk out of their mind shouting at each other in the parking lot and puking in the bushes at 2 am. The beautiful playgrounds and picnic areas are unusable because there is dog poo everywhere and nothing at all is done about it (except a "please pick up your pets poop" post on the community board that is now virtually unused due to the censorship) The units themselves are fine (and the only reason this place is getting 2 stars instead of 1), the sound through the walls/celling is a bit quieter than some apartments I've lived in but not as quiet as others. The size of the Roman tubs are great and the walk in master closets are fantastic. The layouts in the larger units are very open and inviting. The craftsmanship and quality of the materials is lacking, but it is an apartment so I don't expect perfection. read more

So I'm going on my 3rd year of living here. When I moved in a few years ago it's was kinda a shocker after living in a house for the last 18 years. The parking was a mess. At about our 8th month mark they decided to do a parking lot resurfacing project. It was an absolute shit show. That was also about the same time I started noticing the very strong smell of marijuana all the time , day and night. I spoke with management staff and was told nothing could be done because it was legal. It pretty much stayed that way for about the next 8 months or so. Fast forward to about a year or so ago and Shawnte took over as manager. She had her hands full from what the previous manager had left her. I spoke with Shawnte directly and she explained to me what was planned for the next while. The parking situation was on top of the list. It's taken a little while, but I feel the parking situation has improved. The smell of marijuana is pretty much non existent at this point as the complex is becoming a non smoking complex. Every single issue I have brought to Shawnte has been addressed. Since Shawnte has taken over as manager every single interaction I or my wife has had has been very kind and professional. At one point in time I would've never recommended anyone to move here. That sentiment has since changed. Shawnte, Tina,Virome and the maintenance staff have done a great job! read more

Do not live here... I have lived here for 2 years. 29 years old, single dude. The management used to be half decent but now they are absolutely terrible. If you have to talk to anyone in the office they are extremely rude and not helpful at all. Mail has always been a problem here for some reason also. I keep getting others mail In my box and they have lost 1 of my packages that was confirmed delivered by the UPS. Never did get it. Parking is a big problem. I own 2 vehicles and I only have 1 dedicated spot. There are no spots available for "first come first serve" parking so having friends over to watch football is impossible and therefore does not happen. I can get an additional spot but for a fee of course. They have all available parking spots reserved. Also, they have all the streets marked fire lane and will tow with no notice whatsoever. Lot security is nonexistent and one of my vehicles was vandalized (windows scratched to hell). Location is not good unless you only care about the freeway. I'm a single guy and the nightlife in Seatac is terrible. If you want some fun you will need to travel. Almost every night I can hear street racers revving their engines from a few blocks down. Lastly, they hit hard with raising the rent when you want to re-up your lease. They wanted $65 more a month to stay. If you want month to month it's $400 more!! The units are nice but way over priced. Long story short, don't waste your time or money. read more

Update. Unfortunately, after moving out- I have been treated like all of the other reviews have. Aspens never sent me a final account statement- never contacted me, and I moved out of my apartment early (while still paying me full lease agreement) in order to help them move someone in early. What. A. Mistake. They ran off with my deposit, have not answered any phone calls or emails, and now claim I owe THEM money for my move out- even though they have refused to show any documentation as to why they claim I have left the apartment damaged (that apartment was left to them in the shape they gave it to me in). I am flabbergasted and annoyed- and if you want to move out and get your deposit back- don't move here. Seriously. The customer service the second you walk out the door is atrocious, and quite frankly, illegal. Don't waste your time or money in ever living here. read more

I lived at this complex for 5 years since it was first built, always paid my rent on time and kept my apartment immaculate and never bothered anyone. Never had any issues with previous manager Cate, then a very rude and horrible manager named Shawnte Cason came and made a random decision to non-renew and kick me out of my apartment in January 2019 during one of the most treacherous snow blizzards we have experienced in decades. The amount of anxiety, stress and financial tributes I paid were not deserved, and I wouldn't wish on anyone as it was a dangerous time to move. They also took my entire deposit and made me pay $250. I also had to pay double rents between Aspens and My new place totaling $4,000. I had no choice because I needed a safe place to call home. I only had 20 days notice. They didn't have any decency to give more more notice being that I was a long time resident. They treated me like crap. I was never given a clear answer as to why I couldn't renew, and the other super rude Assistant Manager- the one who hangs up and makes fun of everyone told me I wasn't the only one and it might be due to renovations to be done sometime in the future. I immediately knew this was completely false, and got this day feel extremely offended and disturbed by the manner in which I felt I was kicked out of what was very much a sense of security and home to me for so many years. I want to know did anyone else experience a non renewal for no reason given? Did you always pay your rent in time and never bother anyone? Do you feel you have been personally retaliated against for bringing up maintenance related issues and cleanliness of your apartment and community? There is a lot of areas of concern surrounding Aspens of Belvedere and I am committed to investigating so please do contact me. The issues going on appear to be landlord retaliation and of peculiar occurrence during what should be a great rental community. I enjoyed the apartment itself, shared many wonderful memories, and also really horrible ones such as rats coming into my home in the E building 4 times, dirty upkeep of the exteriors, unsanitary and overfilled dumpsters, broken light fixtures, cheap interior fixtures, tiny rooms, unreliable and shady maintenance techs, high turnover in staff, unwelcoming office, poor fitness center, not close to any grocery or stores and much more. I am pleased to see many other residents are experiencing similar circumstances of poor and retaliatory customer service from Shawnte Cason and Tina the assistant, but I know there is so much more going on that is being undisclosed. Please take it from a model former resident and someone who has 8 years of experience in real estate industry, aspens at Belvedere is NOT a safe, clean, valuable or appreciative community to live in. I spent 5 years of my rental history there and during the last of it were the most horrible and I am seeing it's only getting worse. Very shocked that Prime Residential and the investors owners would allow this kind of conduct to occur in their property and hire such incompetent, rude vile and disgusting employees. Also, if you ever want to escalate an issue beyond Shawnte the manager, best of luck to you as she will have already lied and built a story to get regional and their contact information is never never given out. And if you have a complaint, there is a bogus online form you fill out and never hear back from anyone. I filled one out many times and never heard from anyone. As if thats not enough Property Manager is the prime aggressor at this location and does nothing directed from the corporate. They rented me an apartment with a weavil infestation property manager kept asking me to wait every month to move me to the next unit and then she does this: I was approved to move to a new apartment in the building and i had to shift the date by 3-4days due to my disability condition. Viola !! the property Manager changed the agreed upon move plan and went around telling staff members that i had Bad Credit...She also had the gall to ask me for more money for the apartment instead of the agreed upon agreement from the corporate office. Cannot say enough great things about this place!! Mae the leasing agent, especially! She truly goes above and beyond and made the entire moving process so smooth and stress-free as it could be, because you all know how stressful moving is! We toured with Mae and she was so personable, friendly, bright, and enthusiastic! You can really tell that she loves and enjoys her job. We decided to apply because of our amazing our tour went and don't regret it. We love how clean the property looks, the fitness center, playgrounds, floorpans, and how modern the units look! Aspens at Belvedere is a complete joke. While the units are decent, lack of parking, the mismanaged trash around the property, thin walls between units make me want to leave before my lease ends. The only saving grace this property has is for the leasing agent, Vimone, who has been a God send for the 7 months I've lived here so far. They are always doing unnecessary paving projects which make the already difficult parking situation even worse, and the new "management" are incompetent and rude and unfit for their positions. Tina Alvillar-Sanoa is so rude and condescending and when I called her out on it, she decided to yell at me through the phone. I didn't know being petty to your residents was part of your job description. Will NEVER refer anyone to this property, especially if Tina is still here. She deserves to be fired. I've worked in customer service for 10+ years and she clearly doesn't know how to handle situations in an appropriate manner. Udderly childish, you should be embarrassed. I considered renewing my lease once my current one was over but absolutely will not after my interaction with her. Look elsewhere in the area, don't waste your time on this property. They barely deserve the 1 Star I gave them. UPDATE: Cooper, while I appreciate your response, the only thing that would make me want to continue living here or even be remotely happy was if Tina no longer worked here. My encounter with her was despicable, as a company, Prime Group should be ashamed of yourselves for hiring such an employee. I used to LOVE living here, referred everyone I knew to live here as well, but with my last interaction with Tina, I will no longer speak highly of your property. I'm actually looking into breaking my lease early and paying whatever fees are necessary to leave. I've lived here for almost 3 years and I am just so disappointed in the unprofessionalism in management. They charge you for everything and anything and if you try to dispute it you can try over and over again they will find every excuse in the book to make it your fault. I used to love this place the first year but now they keep nitpicking about everything. It's like they want you to evict yourself. I pay my rent on time every month. I was late one time and I paid that fee and 2 months down the road they have this extra charge that was supposedly never charged when I paid the late fee but you wait a couple months later to just add it to my upcoming rent without any notification? And I swear one time I was on the phone with shawnte the manager and she pretend to tell me that she wasn't the manager speaking. Come to find out it was her I was speaking to the whole time. I'm sick of this place. It's beautiful here but I don't recommend this place at all. Mind you, you pay for your rent which includes a driveway and a garage, but they still require you to get a parking permit? My car is not under my name and I can't transfer the title until it's paid off. So they refused to give me a parking permit because the car was not registered under my name. So therefore I don't have a parking permit. But like I said, I pay for the driveway and the garage and I am NOT parking illegally. read more

I moved in the Apartments almost 2 months ago. When I moved in Tiffany was my point of contact and she was nothing but God sent. She was patient in helping me find the perfect apartment that met all my needs. On the days when she was out of the office Mae was her dynamic duo. Both ladies made my move in experience so smooth and painless. Even after I moved in their hospitality and friendliness continued and that shocked me the most. I wasn't expecting it to continue after I signed my lease but it did! That goes to show that it was truly genuine and wasn't just so I could move in. A few weeks ago when we where hit with ice storm, me being new the ice and snow tried to brave the ice and ended up getting stuck. Schmidt was so helpful and came to the rescue. He poured bags of salt around my car and waited until the ice melted to make sure I was able to move my car. If you are considering moving into these apartments, I highly recommend it. I am a current resident living at Aspens of Belvedere and unfortunately the bad far outweighs the good. Fingers crossed things get better. Recently fired the old management and brought in new people. Not much of an improvement so far. The new manager seems to shy away from actually interacting with residents and leaves most of that duty to the assistant managers in the office. I feel bad for Vimone as it feels like she is the only one in that office who does any work! Management dropped the ball big time and provided only a few days notice that they were repaving the ENTIRE complex and everyone had to scramble to move cars. Management does not respond to resident concerns except to post "reminders" about rules on the internal community site. If you try to complain in person they will deflect. Some other observations: -Maintenance requests are NOT resolved in a timely manner. Half the time the requests just sit there for weeks on end. I have repeatedly had to escalate to the front office to get things done. This is unbelievable. -Parking is a nightmare. There just isn't enough parking and no way to fix. People hog the guest spots and never move their cars, people park in residents' reserved parking...it's a mess -crime happens, mostly car break-ins and the occasional package theft because packages get sent to the wrong apartments ALL. THE. TIME. -Residents are loud at all hours, playing loud music and partying. Complaints are ignored and best case there is a "reminder" on the community forum about quiet hours. SMH It's really sad because my apartment is actually pretty nice. I hope management turns it around but there are a lot of negatives right now. read more

I moved in to these apartments in 2013 when these were owned by Pinnacle. The leasing staff was great, residents were taken into account in terms of policies such as smoking and changes in parking and generally this was a great place to live. Prices were reasonable and the apartments were nice. You paid a premium for living in new apartments but not excessively due to the location. Since these have been purchased by Prime Residential in 2014 this has all gone down hill. Quality of grounds is slowly getting worse (no enforcement of pet owners removing waste, trash everywhere, landscaping slowly deteriorating), parking situation has gotten near out of hand, and the leasing office staff (paricularly the manager and assistant manager) are some of the most unreasonable and inflexible people I have ever had the misfortune of meeting. The new staff do not have any interest in the residents or their well being and will not take your position, concern, or individual circumstances into account. You are solely looked at as a revenue stream. Customer service and desire to promote a positive community that encourages residents to stay does not exist here. Prices with Pinnacle, as stated above were high, but reasonable. With the new management group the prices substantially increased, along with the problems stated above (parking, grounds etc). Living here you will be paying a Seattle price with 0 of the amenities Seattle actually offers. They will overcharge you for normal wear and tear items upon move out as well (60$ for minor paint, 120$ for "cleaning" as examples), so don't expect your deposit to be returned. The actual apartments are nice, as to be expected from new construction. Decent appliances, ample space and storage, nice bath tub/shower. The water heaters work very well and in general there are no issues with the actual spaces. As long as you don't mind the airport noise being so close to SeaTac it is generally quiet and peaceful. If you don't care about anything other than a place to sleep with no regards to price, customer service etc. Then this place is good for you. But if you care about getting a good value out of the place you live then I'd suggest looking elsewhere. Renton, Kent, and Federal Way all offer way more bang for your buck as well as being closer to more basic amenities such as grocery stores, restaurants etc. read more

I have reviewed the Aspens at Ridgeview, now Aspens at Belvedere. I have since moved out. Since Belvedere has taken over, I have to update my review. Since the new management has taken over, I have a lot to complain about. First, with the new (Belvedere) management, their online payment system did not work for me so I put my payment in the dropbox. They lost my rent check. That was a nightmare to get corrected. Second, they are quick to tag vehicles for parking in a no parking zone. While this is good in general, my case was horrible. One night my husband and I came home and a neighbor was having a party, so a lot of cars were parked along the fence and other areas of the parking area. We have a truck, so we were unable to park in our spot due to other vehicles. We had to park elsewhere. We woke up the next day and we were the only vehicle tagged. Management didn't care nor wanted to resolve the issue due to our complaints. Third, since they bought out the property, I questioned them numerous times about what would we need to do if we had to leave before our lease was up due to purchasing our house. Every time I questioned them, they told me to write a letter 20 days in advance. I also did go over my lease agreement, but I wanted to make sure they were following the original agreement. On the 4th time of questioning them, they then informed me that I had to pay rent for the next month. I informed them that is not what they told me on the 3 other occasions. The manager was really rude in questioning us why didn't we do a 3 month lease or go month to month. When I explained to her we didn't think we would find a house so quickly, and paying month to month (which is twice the rent price) was not an option for us. The thing that really upset us the most was how rude they were. No Customer service at all!!! Finally, we moved out and then get a bill for a large amount. They claimed it was to replace the carpet. Well it was in great condition cause I took pictures when I moved in and when I moved out. They claimed it was due to my cats. My cats are litter box trained. Now we paid pet rent, but that does not cover anything. It just allows your pets to live there. We still had to pay to replace the carpet, and they would not tell me where or why. They were really rude on the phone about the situation. Overall the location as I mentioned in my first review is wonderful and the apartments are great, the new management is horrible. As I was moving out, I talked with a few of the neighbors and they were all complaining as well. Please do your research on this location and proceed with caution. They almost want single people with no pets living there. Plus trying to get them to understand your issue is a real problem. Never again will I rent from these people!!! read more

Aside from the nice ladies working at front desk, there is really nothing good to say about this place. I can't even say "it looks good outside but inside is horrible and vice versa" because quite honestly, it's horrible. I was a resident for a year and in that year, my dishwasher remained broken. I had constantly submitted tickets to get it repaired and every time the maintenance guy came, he "worked" on the issue and signed a completion form then left. 3 times! each and every time, it would not clean properly, leaving dishes on the top rack always dirty. Not once did it do what a dishwasher was suppose to do. They should really hire a new maintenance crew. Don't even get me started on the garbages here. Numerous time there were promises to improved the garbage situation which created a rodent problem that til this day, I'm sure is not fix. Definitely wasn't when I moved out a couple months ago. There are always tons of rats which is not sanitary for any apartment complex. Overall, I would not recommend living here as rent is a little high for this place and their service. Their workers however are nice, just wish owner/managers make some must needed changes. read more

Aspens is a very safe and comfortable place to be. Up one arriving to aspens you almost feel like you are driving in to a private residential neighborhood to what appears to be Townhomes. Little do you know, those are your new apartment homes! The units are beautiful and the layout of the complex is huge. The leasing staff and property manager is amazing and very easy to talk to. I work for a security company that services this property and I must say that for an area south of Seattle and Bellevue, they sure do hold the high end experience as any up scale apartments in downtown and Bellevue. This property already has a problem with parking but now they're doing a major paving project and only gave residence 5 days in advance about the project. This project is shutting down reserved parking spots, garages, car ports (that we pay for), visitor parking and is causing a huge inconvenience for us to even plan out how to figure out where to park. The complex did not provide adequate accommodations only a mere "We are sorry for the inconvenience" BS statement. People work, are on vacation or going on vacation during this time, residents are disabled or have children, and this complex doesn't have a plan for any of this. Just a "oh well figure it out" attitude. The complex manager posted on our resident message board that if someone has a disability, elderly or feels unsafe walking to their unit they need to call a number and courtesy patrol will come to assist them, IF THEY'RE AVAILABLE. Are you kidding me?! This courtesy patrol is a third party company and doesn't even work on the premises. The notice attached shows they notified us on July 19th and that the project is to begin 5 days later on July 24th. This is unprofessional, poorly planned on the property and complex, and the complex has shown no sympathy for those who's are greatly affected by this. Safe your money and don't move here. UPDATE- to reply to the blanketed statement from Cooper... if it is a capital project like you stated wouldn't you think a notice of 3 business days is ridiculous? If it's such a big project wouldn't you think the residents should be notified sooner than 3 business days? Also not providing any sort of accommodations for parking or planning a designated place for the displaced cars to park is poor planning on your part. read more

I can't say it enough how much I LOVE living here! The grounds are beautiful. There is a view of the valley from most upper apartments! The staff are on top of everything. If u need a repair they are quick ro respond. The club house is amazing I help my work party there last Christmas and everyone couldnt stop talking about the perfect venue. The parking is tight but there are second spots available if u have 2 cars and they are working to create more spaces! You will love it here! read more
