I've never been to one so this was my first time experiencing it, and after flying in that morning, it was well needed. Brittney offered essential oils, acupuncture, or both with the experience. The acupuncture was on our ear, and of course, was not a requirement. This was approximately a two hour intimate experience, as I think there were maybe 13 of us in the space. As of right now, I believe they are doing these monthly, and would recommend checking one out!

Then I went back the next day and got a second necklace and a pair of earrings. After I got home I was so in love with the pieces that I found the Kate Maller Jewelry website and as the years went on bought several other pieces while also getting two of my friends hooked on it. Earlier this year these friends and I made a special trip from California to Denver to visit the brick and mortar store and bought even more amazing pieces. We met Martie who runs the business and helped us have a fabulous time picking out amazing pieces. Kate's jewelry is unique, modern, extremely well made, and super versatile. It can be worn every day but also looks great when you are dressed up. I've also bought pieces from some of the other artists they carry, and it is always top quality and original. They have price points for every budget, the customer service is excellent, and if you are ever in Denver I highly recommend stopping by!

I am changing my original review to one star because I no longer believe it accurately reflects my…read moreexperience. At one point, I trusted Carol White Bear deeply. I spent hours speaking with her, confided in her, respected her guidance, and regarded her as someone safe. I also supported her professionally in a significant way because I genuinely believed in her and in the work she was doing. That trust is gone. What changed my opinion was not a single disagreement. It was discovering that the compassion and understanding I believed I was receiving directly did not match what was being said about me elsewhere. That matters profoundly when someone works in a profession built on intuition, trust, emotional vulnerability, and guidance. I was going through an extraordinarily difficult period in my life, including serious medical circumstances and significant emotional strain. Carol knew that. She also knew how vulnerable I was and how much weight I placed on her perspective. Despite that, I later learned that she had been expressing judgments about me to my wife while interacting with me very differently in private. When I became hurt by something that happened, I did not attack her, publicly shame her, or retaliate. I reached out directly and asked if we could meet because I wanted to understand what had happened and repair the relationship. She told me she was busy and would check her schedule. She never contacted me again. Nearly two months later, however, she had no difficulty reaching out to my wife to request changes to marketing materials that I had personally created through my own business. My wife does not run my creative business. That moment told me everything I needed to know. Ignoring someone when they ask to repair a personal rupture is one thing. Deliberately bypassing that same person when you later want something related to their professional work is another. It felt dismissive, avoidant, and profoundly disrespectful. I gave an enormous amount of my time, creative labor, professional expertise, encouragement, and trust to this relationship without expecting anything in return. I did so because I believed I was supporting someone who had positively affected my life. I now understand that relationship very differently. The most painful part is not that Carol and I are no longer close. It is realizing that someone I once regarded almost as a maternal figure could know how deeply I trusted her, know how much I was struggling, accept the generosity I extended, speak critically about me behind the scenes, and then avoid a direct conversation when I asked for one. For a profession that depends so heavily on trust, discernment, authenticity, and emotional integrity, that discrepancy is impossible for me to overlook. People are free to form their own opinions and have their own experiences. This is mine. I once recommended Carol enthusiastically. I no longer recommend her at all.

To respond to Dianne F.'s reply: "The person you described as Mr. Mask comes from a highly attuned…read morespiritual family, so I'm sad to see you describe him in the way you did." Just because a person comes from a "highly attuned spiritual family" doesn't mean they're also highly spiritually attuned -- that's like saying "she comes from a highly musical family" but she can't carry a tune or keep the beat. (I myself come from an *extremely* Christian family -- Bible Belt! -- but I have since learned the truth about that religion and am no longer the slightest bit Christian nor will I ever be again.) As I said, both my husband and I are *extremely* intuitive and can sense people's energy, and the energy we get from this man is "used car salesman" with not a shred of spirituality. In any case, his pushy car-salesman attitude was the real issue. That said, my husband and I did stop by the Youngfield store a couple days ago, and although we didn't encounter "Mr Mask" (and mask or not, the attitude was the problem) the lady at the register was also very "car-lot sales-y", listing off all the things on sale, the readings going on that day, etc. While some might find that helpful, we found it rather off-putting, as we had come in for a specific purpose, not a 3-minute sales pitch. There is nothing wrong with welcoming customers in and saying, "If you need any help just let us know." (Ashley at the 44th Ave location got this right, every time!) But the pushy attitude we've repeatedly encountered makes us reluctant to shop here.
