Look I've been to 5 different dentist here in Visalia, they were rude and they didn't care to hear what you had to say, I was about to give up until I called and from there Dora's can they were too kind to help. I recently went in for a routine cleaning. I had a 300 plus balance the last time I was there. So had X-rays and Aimee the hygienist did her measurements of my teeth. I was then sent to the front desk and was told for my cleaning it would be 900 plus. I asked about my balance which could not be found. Never in my life would I pay 900 plus dollars for a routine cleaning under any circumstances. The very first time I went there I paid 2500 for a mouth guard. This place will try to sell you everything under the sun and then overcharge you as well. I am in the process of finding a new dentist and unless you have endless pockets I suggest you do the same. read more

Listen up! I am a disabled senior just finishing cancer treatment. I visited Aspen Dental Visalia, CA twice in Dec 2024 for checkup, x-rays and then for cleaning and 3 cavities repaired. I paid a cash deposit of $240 to cover my estimated share of second visit. My primary and secondary insurance covered the entire first visit and the second visit was to cost me $140 out of pocket. I have made 20 plus calls, talked to a dozen people sent copies of insurance claims settlements and this business refuses to call me back, take my calls and today I get a notice I am going to be sent to collections because they claim I owe them $111 for visit number 1 and they won't refund the $125 balance they owe me on the deposit for visit #2. The dental work was great but you might be out of pocket more than you ever anticipated. Be careful sending your seniors to this place.. I am going to visit their office, an hour away at great time and gas expense, one more time tomorrow. If it isn't fixed then I am heading straight to the Better Business Bureau to ask they help clear this up. Three months of constant calling, emails and begging is enough and all I have to show for my effort is a collections notice. Be careful. read more

Their billing practices are a little shady. I have insurance and when I went initially as a new patient they over billed my insurance under a provider that was no longer working there. I somehow I overpaid myself on the portion out of my pocket for services. They did return the money I had over paid when I caught them. They called me yesterday to tell me my next appointment had to be cancelled because my insurance company was now denying the next service and I needed to pay almost $200 out of my pocket again. I called the insurance company and I was told they don't deny services. My conclusion is they will try to suck money out of you or your insurance company. Double check the billing for services they are charging your insurance company and ask questions about the amounts you are paying out of your pocket. read more

Horrible services. I do not recommend this dental clinic at all. Save time and money. The dentist dares to give me a false diagnosis without even being sure of the diagnosis. She told me that I have tongue cancer when she is not sure about it. After that she said: I will test you to see if you don't have tongue cancer and it will cost you $25. I got tested and she said I'm fine. Well, never give a diagnosis just by looking, she made my blood pressure drop just by giving me a false diagnosis, thank God the lady was wrong. First she has to make sure before she opens her big mouth. So that people are aware of this unprofessional business with an unprofessional dentist. read more

I simply can't say enough nice things about Dr Saab and his entire office. After a lifetime of being embarrassed by my teeth I decided to make a change and Dr Saab has been simply amazing. Not only is he a great dentist he is also a wonderful human being and truly cares about people. Only hiccup along the way was billing and insurance issues and Dr Saab and his team were so considerate and absolutely went out of their way to get it taken care of and then some. He was involved with the entire process and is an honest and caring person and I recommend him on the strongest words possible. I've been in the medical field for about 20 years and Have dealt with 100s of doctors maybe even thousands. Dr Saab is by far one of the nicest people I've met in the medical field and his work is absolutely top notch. He is detailed. Explains the process thoroughly. Answers every question. Is honest. My daughter has a wisdom tooth that's been causing her extreme pain for months. Her regular dentist didn't want to deal with it so he referred her out twice! The first one got lost, the second is 2 months out to even get a consult, then it's months to get authorization. I made an appointment for her at Aspen. They got her in two days later for a free evaluation. Her appointment was at 11am. She walked out at 12:10 and they had pulled the tooth for her. He was able to get me in earlier for extractions and had my new dental piece made and delivered to me the same day I had them pulled. Absolutely amazing experience from start to end. They got me in for an appointment within 2 days where as my regular dentist didn't have an appt until August. There was little to no wait once I arrived. Everyone I came into contact with was incredibly friendly, seemed knowledgeable, and really seemed to care. I had a very easy consultation where everything was explained to me so I could understand. At the end of the consult they told me I could do my extraction right then and there and I did! Everything from local anesthetic to the actual pulling was painless compared to my last terrible dental experience. I normally have very high anxiety and shake while having dental work done but not this time. After the extraction aftercare was explained thoroughly and I felt very comfortable. In and out in 1 hour 10 minutes, yet I didn't feel rushed. I would 100% recommend aspen from this experience. Honestly the best dental experience I've ever had. read more

Took my mom in with a toothache. They took an X-ray and recommended an extraction but could not do it that day without getting permission from her heart doctor (she takes a blood thinner). We called them with her doctors fax number so they could send a permission form. We were told they would call us back to schedule her extraction and gave her a prescription for antibiotics. We never heard from them again. Since then her tooth has stopped hurting. Happy it was not extracted. My feeling is they did not care about my mom at all and do not want her as a patient. read more

This is a chain of dental offices, which concerns me. I'd rather deal with a small mom and pop office down the street than a big corporation. I went to look at their reviews on facebook and came see see other people's experiences on a group called stopaspendental. I can say that the Aspen at this location did not seem to have the typical aspen experience I had read about. The doctor was comforting. I'm not sure if I'll be back on a regular basis. read more
