I am a 70-year-old chicken-s***, when it comes to going to the dentist. However there is an amazing…read moreforce of nature at Aspen and her name is Ann. Her compassion, patience and understanding are beyond compare! When I first met her I had put adhesive in my dentures to get a soft line. I didn't know that you weren't supposed to use that he should when you geta soft liner put in. I did not only receive the softliner, I received an education as far as Dentures were concerned. Ann smiled ( did not laugh) and kind of rolled her eyes but with empathy. And I hear she was responsible for the beautiful Christmas tree that was in the office last year. She may be short in stature, but she's a force to be reckoned with with her knowledge of Dentistry. I also had the honor and privilege of meeting Norberto! He was a great coach at putting my hard Liners in today. He's extremely knowledgeable, put you at ease and simply fantastic! All in all, a great experience at Aspen Dental.

I found his approach to be quite rough, and his comments about my existing dental work came across as very critical and judgmental, which made me feel uncomfortable during the visit. At the end of the appointment, I was referred out without much explanation, which added to my frustration. Overall, I did not feel at ease or well cared for, and I would not choose to return.

Once they con you into getting the procedure done they will hit you with a bill almost twice the quoted price you already paid. They blame the insurance but these scam artist knew exactly what the were doing. Do not even step foot in the door." *edit* After having a conversation with the VERY helpful employee that commented on this review, she was able to figure out the error that led to us being charged the extra amount. We went from owing 450 to getting a refund of 48$. Im very happy with the follow up that I got, my problem has been solved and I now know it was a billing error. I no longer think Aspen Dental is trying to rip you off, it just seemed like it when the original employee I talked to brushed me off and blamed insurance. Im going from 1 to 3 stars, the lady who helped me deserves 5, but the lady I talked to originally wouldn't even bother looking at the situation and dismissed me as if I just didn't want to pay my bill.

Took over a month just to get in to get x-rays and a consult since they cancelled and rescheduled three various times. then they scheduled the dental work to be done over another month out since their doctor wouldnt be starting until September. I had to pay up front all of my co pay. Now they have called to cancel again and rescheduled because the doctor isnt available again. Worst franchise ever!

I've been extremely happy with my experiences here! I went in originally for jaw pain, and everyone…read morewas very friendly! The dentist is amazing! She was able to pinpoint a reason for a problem I've had for my entire life, and now that I know, it can be dealt with so I'm very grateful! Dentistry is never comfortable, and just as in the medical field, you never know what's going on behind the scenes so it might be possible that you have to wait a few extra minutes. It is probably because they squeezed someone in who was in pain. I'd rather be gracious in that situation, because I've been there too! In total, I would be happy to continue in this dentist's care for good.

Extremely disappointing experience at Aspen Dental. Going to the dentist isn't exactly something…read moremost people look forward to, but the very least I expect is to be treated with respect and given a reasonable amount of attention. Unfortunately, that wasn't my experience here. My biggest complaint is the dentist himself. His attitude was rude and dismissive, and he seemed to have absolutely no interest in spending time with patients. It felt like he spent about 30 seconds with each person before rushing off to the next one. I understand that dental offices can get busy, but patients aren't just numbers on an assembly line. When someone comes in for dental care, they deserve a dentist who takes the time to examine them properly, answer questions, and explain what's going on. Instead, the entire interaction felt hurried and impersonal. What bothered me most was the attitude. A dentist doesn't need to be overly friendly or make small talk, but basic courtesy and professionalism shouldn't be too much to ask. I left feeling like my concerns were an inconvenience rather than something worth addressing. I can't speak to the technical quality of the dental work, but the patient experience alone was enough to make me seriously question whether I'd want to return. Dental care requires trust, and it's difficult to develop that trust when the dentist barely gives you the time of day. Overall, a very disappointing experience. I don't expect special treatment, but I do expect to be treated like a person rather than just another appointment to get through as quickly as possible. One star.

After reading the reviews I felt obligated to voice my opinions of my first experience at Aspen. I…read morewas not looking forward to going to any dentist, and have avoided it for years due to past experiences with local dentists in my area who were rude, too rough, impersonal, etc. But, lucky me I broke a tooth and made a decision to get it fixed along with anything else at the same time. I was able to been seen right away, instead of having to schedule a month out or more like most local dentist offices. I asked for a female dentist, as the males I have had in the past were the same ones with the attributes I mentioned above. My first visit I was full of anxiety, nervous, etc. Then I found out that my dentist that day would be a male as no females were on duty. I wasn't happy at first, very nervous, but was assured that he was awesome. Let me assure you, Dr. Kurt Losier is in fact AWESOME. Honestly, I would prefer him in the future. So personable, caring, and an expert in his field. As far as billing/cost, if you don't ask questions that's your own fault. Yes, I was presented with a rather large quote on what I needed done, but when I stated I couldn't afford that, the dentist and the finance rep were able to adjust to what was needed most as far as procedures, then I was informed of an insurance they offered that cost me only $99 a year, but ended up saving me $805 off my bill. Totally worth it. Needless to say, we got to a reasonable agreeable amount. The staff are all very friendly and made this first visit in over 15 years for me, the best I can remember ever having. You don't have to agree to anything unless you chose. You are given a breakdown of what the dentist suggests needs done, but you are also given choices, and information like I was, on addtional insurance if you have none or if your current insurance has ample coverage, like mine. As far as the poor reviews, I beleive they are such due to lack of knowledge and persistence on the writer's end. So if you aren't sure, take my advice and at least give them a try. Too many will write of a bad experience, very few will write of great ones.

I went to Aspen after moving to Warsaw and needing to find a new dentist. I had my teeth x-rayed and the dentist looked at my teeth I was told that I had an old filling that needed to be redone but that the rest of my teeth looked good. But then the hygienist came in and took measurements of my gums. She went and stabbed my gum line so aggressively I was bleeding and crying. On top of that she told me I had Gingivitis!! She accused me of not brushing or flossing. Which is NOT true. I regularly brush with a power toothbrush and floss my teeth! I don't have tooth pain or sensitivity and my gums do not bleed when I floss!! Next they send me to reception/billing and I am told *need* a $700 treatment after insurance! Which included a deep cleaning, a $100 water pick flosser and other screenings. I was shocked and extremely upset! After speaking with reception/billing we were able to get the treatment cost to $480 without the "extras". When I tried to ask if I could just get a regular cleaning instead I was told that wasn't available for me. All of this was extremely shady. I got my second opinion and turns out my teeth and just as healthy as I suspected. I do NOT have gingivitis nor do I need a filling redone. I will be letting everyone I know to NEVER go to Aspen Dental. TL;DR Do NOT go here!! Trust your gut and get a second opinion'
