Superb dental work. No doubt about that. Proactive and reactive. HOWEVER: It seems that after a procedure and payment I owed them a very small amount of money - tens of dollars. Somehow I slipped through the cracks and received no bills from them for the small amount. They claimed they sent me five bills which I never received. Checked with the wife to make sure. Aspen turned me over to a collection agency. Upon receiving the dunning letting from the collection agency I went to the Aspen offices in Palatka to pay the very small bill immediately. Funny how their bills never got to me but the debt collectors did. Upon arrival I immediately paid the arrears. My question to them was: When it became obvious that something was amiss why didn't you reach out to me by telephone or text message? A pleasant "Hey Mr Tom you still owe us $32.50. How can we clear this up?" I would have apologized and paid over the phone with a debit card immediately. Or any other way they wanted. But NO. They tuned me over to a debt collection agency. When I asked the office manager why didn't you give me a heads up courtesy call all they would say is "We sent you five letters" and then turned around and walked away. I paid the chump change bill, went home and called the debt collector and straightened that out. My next call was to a family practitioner in Palatka whose office staff assured they would always give me a heads up call first before they did anything like turning my account over to a debt collector for $30 discrepancy. read more

I made an appointment and even confirmed it by text message, when I got there 15 minutes early I was informed my appointment was canceled and for no reason. I don't understand how they can make an appointment then cancel it with no Notice. read more

Went in with tooth pain, they took trays then stuffed me in a room to discuss a treatment plan. 45 minutes later they finally come get me to tell me that they couldn't get a hold of my insurance company. They never solved my tooth pain, never got back in touch with me and I am still in pain. It is very sad that the money is more important to them than the patients health... Sad... read more

My family and I are now Aspen Dental patients because they offered the same services for WAY cheaper than our last dentist. Every time I went in (to my old dentist), there was always something wrong and more money we supposedly needed to pay. It would have cost around 4k to get my wisdom teeth removed at my dentist before, but now that we're at Aspen, it's less than 1.5k! This location specifically has some of the nicest workers of any dentist/doctor's office I've ever been to and the dentist himself is extremely honest about what is a concern and what isn't, so that we aren't overpaying. We drive about an hour to get there because we enjoy the service at this specific location so much and we are much happier with the results! read more

This office is managed by over educated idiots with a degree in proctology And how to achieve the insertion of one's own crainium into one's rectum. It's easier to see King Charles than get an appointment months in advance then they cancel it the day b4 and offer another one next year. They overcharge me in January $500 and it's August 23 and still excuses why they haven't refunded my card. Called and put on hold for 45 minutes then hung up on.The customer care is non existent and their cavalier disrespect for you is only exceeded by their total disregard for your physical and mental health dealing with these so call medical experts. Please go anywhere but not here for your smile is not here read more

You can make your first appointment online and if you have no insurance you get a free examination and X-rays. The doctor goes over your treatment plan and alternatives. They work with Care Credit to finance those expensive needs and are kind and gentle for the squeamish (me). I'm very happy with my experience at Aspen and Dr. Kang. read more

I cannot state forcefully enough don't use Aspen Dental for teeth replacements or dentures. I went for a bridge and ended up with I thought was implants and dentures, my fault. They changed me almost $8,000 four months before the process began. When I went in the surgeon said I was only getting dentures. The office manager came in and showed me a contract that everything was paid in full but did not include implants. She said the additional costs for implants were estimated to be about $2000 each, money I didn't have after already paying $8000. I let them continue. The oral surgeon is another review altogether. Leaving their office I knew nothing of caring for my gums or the temporary dentures. I called repeatedly to get answers and got none. After a month or so I was transferred to a different technician and she was the first to give me any information. A different dentist came in and agreed the first set of temporary dentures needed to be replaced with some that fit better. The process was taking longer than initially stated and I had to move to another state. The technician said that would not be a problem. The new Aspen Dental said I owed another $1000 dollars and the account had been sent to collections and they couldn't help me, a thousand for which I never received a bill. Collections wouldn't let me dispute and said full payment still wouldn't get me my final comfylite dentures. After a year and a half my dentures, supposedly ready within six months, I still don't have. Whatever you do, find a different dental group unless you don't mind additional payments you know nothing about. read more

Best dental experience ever!!!! Everyone is friendly and the dentist is nice. The procedure was pain free. Highly recommend. read more

Don't go to the Aspen Dental in Palatka Florida! The Dentist is extremely rude and all they are interested in is money. My husband went there to get dentures and the dentist told him that he needs to find another dentist and refused to make them if he wasn't going to get a deep cleaning, a tooth pulled, cavity filled and pay for a crown. Needless to say.. expensive $5785 That place is a joke! Do not waste your time. You've been worn. Told him four times to find another dentist... SHAME!!! read more

Terrible service! I had two appointments at 10 and 11. We arrived at 9:40 am. We didn't hear anything until 10:40, when we asked. She acted like she didn't care and we walked out. They took people that didn't have appointments before us.... we know because they were talking about it in front of us. read more

It saddens me to say as a Victim of Aspen Dental that opening your mouth to these folks could cost you a smile. I know it did for me. I had a simple crown replacement; nothing fancy right? Well in my case A$pen Dental had their hygienist place a crown in my mouth instead of a REAL dentist which cost me the tooth. Even though it was illegal AND she signed off on it that she did this, they still didn't get into trouble. I filed a complaint with the dentistry board (if you have trouble with them you need to do the same thing), but why and how they keep getting away with harming people, I don't know. What I do know is they target poor, disabled people who don't have a voice to fight back, at least most of the time. Just search [ aspen dental B.A.D. ] and you'll find loads of information about why you should not consider A$pen Dental as an option for your dental health. read more

I went to Aspen back in August for a cleaning & check up. I had a great experience. hey told me I had a tooth that needed a crown, They even said it needed to be soon. I had seen all of the reviews that said they tell you stuff is necessary and really may not be, so I didn't get in any hurry to do it. Fast forward to November and the tooth in question broke, a big piece of it falling out in my mouth, meaning an emergency trip to Aspen the day before Thanksgiving. The normal Dr. was not there as he was on vacation with his family. The fill in Dr. advised me I'd need a root canal, and a crown to repair this (which wouldn't have happened if I'd got the crown when they told me to). He didn't do root canals, an appointment was made for it. When I got there for the appointment, the normal Dr. advised that I could get away without the root canal and just get a crown, which he prepped for that day. I just wanted to say, they didn't try to make me have unnecessary treatments, they actually did the opposite & I appreciate that. read more
