While she required a fair amount of work, it's been easy and straightforward. We put off braces for a while as she wasn't ready mentally. Eventually we had to jump in either way. Thankfully the team here has been fantastic. My daughter looks forward to her appointments and has really stepped up in responsibility. I believe that is from the support and guidance of the team here. The dentists are talented, honest, and dedicated. The assistants are incredibly kind and gentle. Labor Day weekend (offices closed) I reached out regarding a "dental emergency". The dentist was ready for us almost immediately. It was very painful for her so morning we were trying every orthodontist in town, trying to get her in for an emergency visit. We went to three orthodontists and were turned away every time. This group took us in even before they had opened and treated us like family. They removed her broken retainer and even polished the cement off her teeth to make sure she was comfortable. They were accepting new patients, and the wait time to be seen was not long - I made an appointment and crossed my fingers that the dentist and staff would be just as kind, caring, and gentile as my previous dentist. I arrived at my new patient appointment, and was immediately taken back. Paulina was my X-Ray Technician, and she was super-friendly and talkative. She took MANY x-rays, and was very gentile throughout the process. Being a fairly new resident, I had some questions about the area - she was more than happy to share her experiences and give me some advice! How cool! I met with Dr Nong, and was very impressed. He was soft-spoken, gentile, and had an amazing bedside manner. He had one recommendation, and that work would be done, along with a cleaning, at a future appointment. A few weeks later, I was back to have a tooth restoration done, along with my cleaning. Dr Nong and his Dental Assistant, Karen, were AMAZING! I have had LOTS of dental work done, and I can honestly say that Dr Nong is one of the most gentile dentist's I've ever had work on my teeth. I usually need a bite block to hold my mouth open during work - Dr. Nong assured me I would not need one with him, and he was absolutely RIGHT.....he was super-patient and gentile! What an amazing experience! He made sure I was numb multiple times, and during the procedure (which was NOT rushed at all), constantly asked if I was doing okay. Following the dental work, I had a thorough cleaning by Thao, who was also amazingly friendly and gentile. She took her time with everything, and made me feel like I was her only patient that day. Going to the dentist is one of those necessary things that isn't necessarily "enjoyable." I went there to get a partial for my 4 missing teeth in the upper front and nothing else. Obviously that didn't make him enough money and he tried to talk me into extensive restauration before he would even consider giving me a partial. He called it work ethic, I call it pure greed. He insisted I need a cavity fixed, that was allegedly active, eventually root canal. I know it's not active because it was that way 2 years ago already and hasn't changed since I did precautions myself to arrest it. You learn more about dental hygiene on Youtube than from dentists that only have Dollar signs in their eyes. Then he insisted, I would grind at night and that had to be adressed as well. I never grinded in my entire life. This man has no idea. When I told him several times that I do not have the funds to have all the work he wanted to do done, he refused to treat me. Now I have to spend even more money with my limited funds to find another dentist who isn't as greedy as this one and does only what I am asking him to do. I find it obsurd that you have to pay for a sales pitch when every contractor on earth offers you a free estimate. The Dr title is something that makes them feel superior to everyone else. Everyone who reads this review and is in need of some work that can wait 5 more years, WAIT , because in 5 years there will be a medication that can regrow a third set of teeth.
