Made an appointment in late November to have $3K worth of dental work undertaken, understanding it had to be done this year to use up my insurance and knowing I need more work done next year. Appointment scheduled for Dec 30 as the Doctor was on vacation until then. I had a confusing entry on my calendar and called the office today (Dec 29) to clarify the date/time. I was told it is scheduled for Dec 30 .... but the doctor has decided to take more time off and I would have to reschedule. They just wasted $3K of my money. I will need more work done next year which is why I scheduled for Dec 30 to use up my balance for 2025. Of course they are sorry. I never got a call ... nothing. I will never go back there. My sons first visit we waited.....second visit trying to pay them 5,000 walked out....third visit waited awhile to get them the 5,000 surgery day they call me at 11;50am to ask if we could come in immediately but couldnt. when we come in for surgery we waited a long time as people came and went....i made it known how disrespectful this is.. they apologized, however this was the third time at that point it really is meaningless. after surgery the prescription was not sent in so i had to drive there to see them leaving. it did get taken care of right there. my son has mouth surgery...she prescribes tramadol for pain a synthetic drug instead of a simple mostly natural drug like Vicodin.... Hes been having adverse effects using tram and im almost sure they will just say "give him Tylenol and Motrin then" because she thinks the DEA will see ten real pain killers for surgery and will go ballistic on her door...just bad service basically and prescribing garbage read more

Had a good first visit. Staff were friendly and informative. Have since tried to reach out via phone to get an estimate for the procedures that were discussed, as my insurance had since changed. Was told "I'll put a note in for them to call you". Well, that is the least I would expect? Have yet to receive that call over a week later, and am unable to even get through to the office. Mary should be fired for her lack of compassion, I had a severe abscess and couldn't get a two day excuse. The doctor prescribed me antibiotics and a weak pain killer and when I complained of being in pain still did not offer any alternative help. They told me to go try to get a root canal today. I told them I don't have the money right now. Mary replies "well that's your responsibility to pay" okay DUH. I just asked for help and a day of rest and was met with no help. Stay away, go somewhere else! Absolutely the worst experience we've ever had at the dentist. We walked in looking to get some wisdom teeth checked out. And at the end the way they pushed to get the surgery done that same day was a little weird to us but we just wanted to get it over with. And didnt think much of it. They said we would only have to pay X amount of dollars from what the insurance company wouldn't cover, so we paid. Come to find out 2 months later we get a bill from them from 500$! After multiple phone calls with them asking to have this resolved or simply an answer besides just being taken advantage of, nothing. I left for an overseas deployment and we get another bill, still calling and getting no where. Horrible business practices and absolutely horrible customer service. The worst experience ever, we will never come back again and hope no one ever goes through them again because this was the worst feeling ever, of being taken advantage of. read more

I have been going to this location for at least ten years and had nothing but great experiences. However, that has all flown out the window since last November. I called to make an appointment because I was in pain. Lots of pain. They could not schedule me for at least two weeks because I had to have my annual checkup first. When I did finally get in, the hygienist knew nothing about my pain complaint. I did have inflamed gums around the area that was hurting so they sold me a very expensive mouth rinse and had me schedule a cleaning. I had the cleaning done with no significant relief. I scheduled another appointment online (7am) and noted that it was for pain. I got a call a couple of days before because they had me scheduled as a new patient. I corrected them, and they let the appointment stand. Due to bad weather, I was 7 minutes late. SEVEN. MINUTES. They said I would now have to reschedule. I don't know what happened to the clinic that was anxious to take care of me, but it no longer exists. read more

If I could it would be 0 stars due to their faulty business practices. I was approved for my financing on my first visit which required a $250 down payment. I paid using my debit card and saw the amount withdrawn from my account. When I returned for my second appointment to have my tooth extracted and discuss getting a partial bridge, I was asked to make the down payment a second time in order to get the financing approved. I declined and asked for my down payment back. While I was in the office two other customers were there complaining about down payment issues! Now I need to worry finding a new dentist office to pull my cracked tooth. read more

had 11am appt. at 11:10 was taken back for x-rays then placed in room around 11:20 to wait for Dr. at 11:55 I went out and asked if they had forgotten me because I was on my lunch hour. Was told someone would be in shortly; I told them I had to re-schedule because I only get an hour. Re-scheduled and no x-rays needed appt at 12 went back around 12:10 was seen by dr asked if I could get the name of my implants to have them repaired (they are 15 years old). Tried consulting old dentist who is retired and practice closed and I could not locate him. I called back to Aspen to explain this and the receptionist was VERY RUDE and told me that she would "talk to the dr. about it but because I walked out on my 2 appointments they will get back to me when they can". first of all I left because I had to go back to work I don't need to sit in the dr's chair and watch HGTV for 2 hours when someone could call me for consult because spending 2 hours in a dentist office with no work being done is ridiculous!! read more

Calling Aspen "used car salesmen" would be an insult to used car salesmen everywhere. I'll preface this review by saying that everyone at Aspen was friendly and professional. But that's about where the "good stuff" ends. My insurance changed and my previous dentist was out-of-network. Aspen was in-network and just down the road from me. I read the reviews on Yelp, Google, etc. So I was expecting some hard sell tactics. But what happened with me went beyond what I would call hard sell tactics. I would argue it is downright unethical. My visit to Aspen was in May of 2021. I brought a full set of XRays (pano and bite wings) from my previous dentist that were taken in November of 2020. Aspen refused them. They wouldn't even look at them to check the quality. They just downright said, "No. You have to take XRays here for us to service you." Because... who doesn't like a few extra doses of radiation just for the hell of it? Then I had the exam. It was fine. The doctor, hygienist, and assistant were all friendly and professional. But I requested a specific doctor, and they assigned me a different one without mentioning it. Whatever. We discussed the excess plaque/tarter buildup on my lower front teeth. I said I've always had more buildup there. They said it is actually common in everyone. Other than that, there were no major issues. After the exam was complete something happened that I have NEVER experienced in 47 years of going to the dentist. I was sent to some kind of "office manager" or "account manager" to discuss my treatment plan and schedule my next appointment. Ummmmm... OK (??) I forgot what her official title was. But whatever it was, it was not the title of a health care provider, and she was not in the room during the exam. So clearly she is some kind of clerical staff. She explained to me that I have gingivitis and it is recommended to have a gingivitis treatment (which my insurance would not cover). I said I've been going to the dentist regularly, at least 2 cleanings every year, have used quite a number of dentists over the years, and this is the first time any have mentioned gingivitis or special treatments for it. So I said, "I will decline the gingivitis treatment. Let's just schedule a basic cleaning." Her response was... Are you ready for it? "The hygienist will not perform a cleaning until you first have the gingivitis treatment." I looked at the treatment plan and there were 4 gingivitis treatments listed. FOUR - one per each quadrant. Something smelled very fishy to me. So I said, "OK. I'll have to talk to my insurance company and call you back." And I left. Everyone I tell this story to said the "office manager" thing was really weird, and their refusal to perform a basic cleaning was weird. I don't know about anyone else but if I had cancer and refused chemotherapy, my primary care physician would CERTAINLY not refuse to give me my yearly physical. So here's what I speculate. And I stress that this is my speculation. I have no evidence to support this. But I always understood that doctors and health care workers are bound by ethical standards. The law says patients have the right to decline specific services. If a health care provider refused to provide basic services, that might be considered unethical and could put their license in jeopardy. But an "office manager"... hmmmm... funnily enough, I doubt they are bound by the same ethics as a doctor or other health care provider, and can tell me to go jump off a bridge without losing their job. So I wonder... if the doctor discussed my treatment plan instead, and I refused the gingivitis treatment, would s/he have declined to provide other services? Every dentist, every doctor, every specialist... every single health care provider I've ever dealt with discussed treatment plans with me directly. I was NEVER sent to clerical staff to discuss such matters. Food for thought. In the end, I have other in-network dentists available. So I didn't make a fuss. I just went somewhere else a few weeks later. They accepted my previous XRays. And you know what the new doctor said? Get this... she said, "your gum health is good. All you need at this time are regular cleanings. Keep flossing and brushing." In conclusion, if you have the means to go elsewhere, DO IT! If you don't have the means to go elsewhere, I guess I would recommend asking to speak ONLY with the dentist about your treatment plan - not some clerical staff that doesn't have the background and training that a doctor does. Whenever I've refused treatment by a doctor, they took the time to discuss alternatives. And they certainly didn't tell me to go jump off a bridge. They respected my decisions and continued to provide services to me. read more

I wanted to get a dental implant. I had called Aspen Dental repeatedly to find out if they used zirconia implants. I was transferred to endless employees and finally a surgical assistant who assured me that yes they used zirconia implants. I went in for a consultation. The receptionist wanted my home address. I said I used a PO box. She slammed her hand on the desk and said I had to give my home address. I was called in and started with x-ray after x-ray until just when I thought the x-rays were finished, a woman approached the x-ray tech and scolded him and the x-rays he took of my teeth. He then took about half the x-rays over again. I then was directed to another room where another machine was used to scan my teeth again. The dentist came into the room and I stated I was there for a zirconia implant to which he replied that they only used titanium implants. Titanium is metal and zirconia is non-metal. I got up and left. The bill was $644.00. read more

Absolutely horrible experience. For someone who is absolutely terrified of dentists, Dr Ali had no compassion or empathy for that. He did not make me feel comfortable and made me more nervous and terrified than when I first walked thru the doors. I ended up walking out during my appointment due to the lack of empathy of Dr Ali and not one office lady there stopped me to check on me or even called me after I left to check on me. DO NOT GO HERE!!!! Worst dentist office EVER!! I came here with an emergency dental appointment for swollen jaw and tooth pain. They didn't do anything to relieve my pain. They took x-rays, told me I had an abscess under a molar, and gave me a number to call for a root canal. The swelling in my face got worse which sent me to urgent care for antibiotics, and later that night sent me to the ER due to the infection turned septic where I was losing my hearing in my left ear, my airway was closing off in my throat, and it looked like I had a tennis ball in my mouth. I was rushed in the ER with pain meds, IV antibiotics, and had to have a ct scan. 2 days later I went to a dentist who is professional and he said I never needed a root canal because my tooth was cracked and there was no saving it, so it had to be removed. He also said if the dentist at Aspen knew what he was doing he would've known the infection was so bad it had to be removed. They are only after your money at Aspen and treat you just like a number. THEY DON'T CARE!! Thank God I went to a professional dentist who kept me out of ICU. WORST DENTAL OFFICE EVER!!! DO NOT GO HERE!!!! Never come across such a hostile front reception person at any doctors or dentists office. Had come in for appointments twice within two days. Because they didn't know the the proper reason for my visit. Poor communication system. And, even after telling her it was a check up, I was subject to hateful tones, snotty faces, shaking her head at me with her uncalled for disdain and being told I need to mind my manners because she wasn't going to be held accountable for her attitude or any shortcomings of that dentists office. The dentist agreed, of course. This place needs to get there act together first by communicating and noting the visits of patients purposes and second, pull people like that in for a highly stern consultation on how to conduct themselves when a patient who has already been highly inconvienenced should get even a little consideration. Disrespected my Aunt Because my Aunt is on Medicare, she doesn't have many choices for dentistry. When she had a painful cracked molar, she was able to get an appointment at the Oak Creek Aspen Dental on Howell. I went with her for moral support and transportation. From the beginning of the appointment, she made it clear that she wanted the single tooth repaired or extracted. After over two hours of extended examination and high pressure proposals of thousands of dollars of proposed treatment, they called me in from the waiting room to guilt trip me into paying the huge proposed fee. When I turned down the hard-sell closer's plan, they finally returned to the real reason she was there. The tooth extraction took over an hour, with the unskilled dentist and his assistant disrespecting her, before, during and after the extraction. That process took the majority of a third hour in the office. read more

I haven't written a review in a long time, but this is bothering me so much that it's keeping me up past my bedtime. I had an appointment at the Oak Creek Aspen Dental today, and there were three strikes against it: Strike one: I got the impression that the dental assistant was hitting on me. He literally asked me "Are you married?" and "Do you want to get married?" while he was doing my x-rays, and while he was reviewing my medical history, he told me: "I think you're fine," and when I didn't respond to his statement, he repeated, "Did you hear me? I said I think you're fine." He also kept touching me on the arm and calling me buddy, which made me really uncomfortable, especially since I was already nervous since I hadn't been to the dentist in five years. I would consider it borderline sexual harassment. Strike two: When the dentist came in, he said: "Hello, I'm Dr. [don't remember his name and it wasn't on the paperwork]. And you are?" I mean, that just struck me as rude, and didn't give me much confidence. Strike three: When the receptionist was scheduling my cleaning after my appointment, I felt like she was trying to sell me a time share. It was definitely more of a high pressure sales pitch than an actual treatment plan. They wanted to charge me over $1,200 for two cleanings and two cavities, which seemed outrageous. My mother had advised against going to a corporate dental place, and I only went because they I could book my appointment online and they had a 6 pm time slot. I work in a call center, so the last thing I want to do is spend time on the phone scheduling appointments, but for what they want to charge me, I think I'm just going to call a family practice and try another dentist. I'm done with this place. read more

All they care about is money. They wanted us to take a huge loan out for payment, the payments would be larger than my car loan payments. They told my husband he had problems with his teeth. We went out of network for a second opinion, cost was a lot less and this was out of network plus not as much work was needed. After canceling appointment, company kept calling us to come in for appointments we never had. When we did show up for initial visit, they had to reschedule due to only one person working. Don't go here unless you want to be perscribed a procedure that is "necessary" only to find out that according to your insurance it wasn't needed. The insurance kept denying the claim and won't cover it, so now I am on the hook for the rest of the bill that, according to my quote, the insurance would pay. I called Aspen Dental many times to try and get this solved, but nothing came of it. They apparently tried to submit the claim again to insurance with "new information" to prove that the procedure was needed, but I don't know if this ever happened. Additionally the dental staff told me many times that they would call me back about this problem, but not once did I receive a return phone call. Not even once. I am also annoyed that they advertised a Peace of Mind guarantee that the price quoted is the price paid. I paid the quote, but then according to the insurance company the procedure wasn't needed, yet according to the dentist it was necessary. I don't know who is correct at this point. My advice? Don't go here unless you want them to do procedures on you that are not necessary according to the insurance and won't be covered. And my advice to Aspen Dental: Don't false advertise. I was on hold many times and the recording on your phone states exactly "The price we quote is the price you pay". This is clearly not true and as such you should either omit this from the recording or state afterwards that it is dependent upon many factors including insurance. read more

If you're impatient, this might be your best option. My appointment was on a day one of the staff members was in the emergency room and every appointment was behind schedule. This might create a negative experience for many, but I'm here to review the service received and not how long I waited. Patience, people...patience. Aspen has an extremely friendly staff. There wasn't a single person that I dealt with that rubbed me the wrong way. My insurance options were carefully looked over and they found away of saving me an extra $300 off what was originally quoted. Honestly, how often does that happen? The work I had done quick and painless. This was definitely one of the best dentist experiences I've every had. So yeah, book an appointment with confidence. read more

Janet at the Oak Creek location has yet to send an explanation of services as to why my fiancé has been charged for $3000 of services and he's only had one procedure done. Apparently they charge you for all your appointments ahead of time. When cancelled they take their time figuring out what they did with your money. Scam artists. They throw their crappy credit at you to make you trust they'll make sure your teeth are cared for even when they forget to send you an antibiotic, ignore your requests for doctors notes for an entire weekend even when you call twice. They're more worried about the money than their clients. Go anywhere. Dental Associates charges a fraction of the what Aspen charges. Had I known my fiancé was coming here I would have nailed him to the door so he couldn't leave. Worst worst worst worst dentist ever. Now give us back our money, Janet!!! read more

I went to Aspen Dental, Oak Creek, because I had a broken tooth and they could give me an appointment. Instead of looking at the cracked tooth, which was why I was there, they went through a long process of taking all the panoramic Xrays and two hours of working up a "treatment plan" for how they were going to either crown or pull basically all of my molars. I spent an extensive time with Denise, the business manager, who was the second person who tried to "up-sell" me partial dentures, because the dentist hadn't convinced me. If I hadn't been in pain, I wouldn't have tolerated these hard sell tactics. When the conversation swerved to expecting me to justify why I was "afraid" of dentures, I kept bringing the subject back to the cracked tooth that was the reason I was there. Denise finally recognized that I was not going to sign a huge financial estimate for all the work the dentist wanted to do to me. We finally got down to business with how much extracting the broken tooth (because it was cracked below the gums) and how much just that would be. The next step was Olympia telling me that she was going to re-check my blood pressure, because it had been a little high when I came in. I explained to her that no one had checked my BP at any time during the prior two hours. She insisted FIVE TIMES that I just didn't remember it being taken. It didn't bother so much that someone else had slipped up on the paperwork, but that woman insisting that I was wrong, infuriated me. If you want to raise my BP, then call me a LIAR five times. The paperwork error was fixed but I never received an apology from Olympia, Denise or Dr. Kapoor, only a justification of the "usual procedure." That's probably what they consider as an apology. The extraction was a horrific 45 min. with a lot of drilling, cracking and pulling. The way the rest of my teeth were frequently being hit with the tools, every time the dentist lost his grip, caused me to worry about others being chipped or cracked. There is another molar that has lost its filling but they won't have a chance at it. The dentist refused to replace the filling. He insisted on putting a crown on it, instead. Denise already had the future appointment scheduled, and the charge calculated. I won't be back. It has nothing to do with the goofed up paperwork. It has to do with the hard sell tactics; the extensively long extraction; and the Olympia calling me a liar about the BP. read more

Wow. What a horrible place, took my mother for a normal cleaning because they take Medicare. They made her sign an agreement that her services would only be periodontal cleanings which cost $100 more and is not covered by Medicare. When I questioned the charges all this woman at the desk did was wave this agreement in my face. Instead of cheating senior citizens just say we don't take Medicare. Avoid Aspen Dental. read more

Worst Office service EVER!!! I would not recommend them if you need an emergency visit!!! I cannot speak on the quality of dentistry, as I never made it past their requirements for an initial visit prior to being seen for an emergency as s new patient. My husband made an error and switched our insuance coverage type at open enrollment. Aspen dental was our new listed provider. The previous month I had X-rays done at my previous dentist identifying 3 cavities. I could not return to his office to have them treated. I have very limiting hours with work and was now in pain. Aspen dental would not treat my pain without an initial visit. I called the oak creek office manager and explained I was in pain and needed to have my cavity treated right away. They said I had to have an exam first and then schedule a second appointment. However, they would manage my pain... I explained I do not have flexibility with my job to make two separate appointments and did not want pain killers. I was not happy and she said it was me, and my time constraints that was the issue and they would not make an exception. She hung up on me!!! I was stressed on the phone as I was in pain, however, hanging up a patient is not professional. I would NEVER go here. I immediately switched dental providers! read more

Unfortunately my report is not a good one. I went in as a new patient January 2019 and was so upset with services I ended up changing providers immediately next day. I initially was seen 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment, which is understandable as they continued to express how short staffed they were. Then I continued to hear the nasty things the employees were saying at the front counter (I imagine they didn't see me sitting in the corner nor do I believe they truly cared to look except for Denise...she was sweet) about certain cliental and what not. Then I was finally taken back and then after 1 1/2 hours all they did was a series of xrays and then had the hygienist poke and prod at my teeth. I was expressing my discomfort and ear pain to have a root canal done but they seemed more concerned about me coming for the 3 month hygienist appointments. I ended up walking out saying I had to leave and they said I still had a treatment plan to complete. I sat down with the hygienist and she wasn't interested in anything other then making sure I could comply with treatment plan. So I literally have an infected tooth needing a root canal but they sent me on my way and told me they couldn't schedule anything until I signed the treatment plan....more concerned about dollars then getting the actual job done. Oh and yea, on my way home while drinking some water the tooth that was just a cavity cracked in half so I imagine it's now a root canal as well...Thanks Aspen Dental for nothing. First of all, I was running a little late, so I called them from the road, and told them I was stuck in traffic, but I would be there as fast as I can, and the lady on the phone was quite rude, and told me that they would have to reschedule me...when I got there(I was 7 minutes late), I stood in front of the receptionist for at least 3 minutes, before she even acknowledged me, then she looks up all snooty like and says "Your Name?". So I tell her, and she tells me that she already cancelled my appointment, and that I would have to make another one...well, I was pissed! There wasn't anyone in the waiting room, the parking lot was empty...and they couldn't take me because they were so busy, she said...BAD BUSINESS! I would(and have) told everyone I know not to go to these people, and after reading one of the other yelper's comment about this place, and the sexual harassment they received, and someone else said they heard 2 of the doctors "making out" in the other room is just GROSS! I go to Oak Leaf Family Dental at 8907 s. Howell, and they are way better. My advice to anyone who wants to go to Aspen Dental, you better get there way ahead of your appointment time, or they may be too busy to see you, too! read more

Don't trust anything they say. They gave me a price of what it would cost to get dentures on the top only. I bought the pair that had 3 yr warranty on them. Well they decided to eliminate warranties on their dentures never notified me and usually companies still cover the items or services that are already sold to people but not them. Also they give you a price beware it usually costs double or triple of that and bill you after visit and they don't care that some people can't afford whatever Aspen Dental decides to charge. They are horrible and I would never recommend them. I paid $3000 for dentures that 2 yrs old and they don't fit and they won't help fix them so their answer to my problem is buy new pair. Who cares if I can afford it or not. Just toothless, unable to eat normal and they don't care they ripped me off. DON'T GO TO ASPEN DENTAL!!! read more

I was a bit hesitant to go here, based on reading some of the negative reviews, but thought i would see for myself. Well, as a person who is extremely full of anxiety when visiting dentists, I was prepared for the worst. But I can tell you, this place was GREAT. The staff were friendly and everyone, the receptionist, dental assistant Lyric who took the xrays, Adele the hygenist, and Dr Hassan, were all empathetic to my anxiety and treated me very professionally. Their prices are the same as most dental places, if you do your homework and call around, you will see that. I can only say the reviews I read about denture problems are somewhat common at most dental offices. Dentures take a few visits sometimes, adjustments are often needed. I know that with the dentures my father, mother and sister had to get. So for all you anxiety-ridden/PTSD people out there, take it from me, the biggest one of them all, this is an awesome denta office . read more

I would rate this company a -5, they are not in business to relieve your pain they want to sell you a dental procedure that costs you thousands of dollars!!!! My wife went there to have painfull tooth fixed but all they did was tell her she had excessive gum disease and needed a root canal but did nothing to relieve her pain and just pushed the $3k plan. They even said that the tooth behind the tooth that was bothering was cracked and could be causing the pain that's bull the jokes on them there is NO tooth there it was extracted years ago. Due to a recent change in our insurance benefits we were required to use an Aspen clinic. I had scheduled new patient appointments for my family and was asked if anybody was in any pain or experiencing any problems. I stated that was not an issue, although I had a son that was going to be having braces placed and that I was hoping to get a cleaning appointment in before than. She understood my request and said that she was going to accommodate our needs and make that happen all in one appointment. We arrive for our 2:45 PM appointment on March 7 at about 2:30 PM in which my son was not seen at his appointment time and that was not a big concern to me initially. Another member of the office had came out later after taking my son back stating that he was not originally scheduled for a cleaning and that they were going to have him seen but that it would take a few. I had told her that that's not information that was relayed to me just so that she understood that we were not confused. They then offered for me to go in the back by my child and when the hygienist came in the cleaning from start to finish took exactly 9 minutes. Now we're talking about a 15-year-old boy and I his mother who has 15 years experience in the dental field and knows that even a child prophylaxis takes longer than nine minutes. When we were with the secretary discharging I had expressed my frustrations and she was speechless. I signed my papers and walked out furious. I proceeded to call the corporate office who connected me to the Oak Creek office and they offered for me to come back and have the service re-done in which I declined. I declined so because I feel that that service should've been performed adequately the first time. She stated that they were accommodating me initially. I told them by giving my child a nine minute cleaning that is more than $100 is not accommodating me. It was a disservice and bad ethics. They also had interest in my experience in the dental field in which I felt was relevant regardless of my background and or knowledge each individual patient that walks into these offices should be treated and provided with top-notch dental care. It is unfortunate that clinics like this have a bad reputation thus the reputation is based off of the services such as this that are being performed . I suggest they fix it fast because they are not doing anybody any good by providing this level of care. It's bad enough that dental has become more of a business to have to deal with this. These patients rely on a professional and good judgment and it is not being provided. be ashamed of yourself. Went in for tooth pain and found i had an abscess and they did nothing for it. Now my right side of my face is super swollen. I had to call them to make sure that they were sending the prescriptions they said they were going to. It was a waste of my time and they want to charge you an arm and a leg for stuff. It's insane cuz they told me well you could get a bank loan and it shocked me like wtf i have two kids and bills i dont have money like that. Never again will I go back. read more

I was first seen in February for X-rays and an overview since I was a new patient, and scheduled for an appointment in MAY for cleaning and other work. I thought that was ridiculous, but accepted anyway thinking I would call and reschedule for a sooner date. When I called today to reschedule one of the May appointments, they told me the next available appointment is in AUGUST!!! No one is THAT busy, and if they are, business is good and they need to hire more dentists... I will be getting my money back that I put down for the dental work when I go for my cleaning. I shouldn't have to wait 7 months to fix my cavities!!! read more

If you want to actually see a dentist do not go here! I should have listened to the other reviews but unfortunately did not. After waiting 2 weeks for the "soonest appointment" I could get in for and leaving work 2 hours early they didn't have an appointment for me! Apparently I canceled it the day before and now they were booked, because I would cancel a appointment and then show up to it? There is definitely something wrong with there scheduling system and the person at the front desk had the nerve to ask if I wanted another appointment ! So it can be magically canceled again? I'm on an extended stay in Milwaukee and needed a dentist here to keep up with cleanings. I went to Aspen thinking they provide low cost services. WRONG!!!!! I just wanted a simple cleaning but when I called to make an appointment I was told that no work could be done on my 1st visit. All they would do was take Xrays and give a consultation, which was all free. Ok, the free xrays would save me at least $100 so I went for it. After being examined by a dentist and hygienist I was turned over to their closer. The $80 cleaning that I wanted turned into a quote of almost $1,000. I had NO cavities or any other problems with my teeth and NO problems with gum disease. Yet they found a way to try to extract almost $1000 from me. They also wanted to sell me an electronic tooth brush. The $80 cleaning I wanted turned into a $220 deep cleaning that they wanted to do every 3 months rather than the usual 6 months recommended between cleanings. I forgot what other work they wanted to do but it all sounded like BS to me. If you're looking for a dentist that charges reasonable rates... keep looking, this isn't the place for you (or me). read more
